Good work mate will try this tonight LOL just after google stopped official support on Nexus the number of ROMs getting released is increasing good to see that the XDA Devs are trying their best to keep the phone up and running on the latest and customized .
It is fast and stable. If you're a gingerbread fan, this rom is a must-have.

hi, i tryed the rom for 2 hours today ... the idea is good, i really like GB, but something don't work, such as (the most important for me) the usb storage button is invisible) and... where are GAPPS? I need market!
GB is better than ICS or JB but when i set again 2.3.7 sometimes was freezing phone...

you can change statusbar size in CyanMobile settings (status bar --> find something as "tiny small status bar")

I'll get a logcat, but roughly, the screen dimmed and the capacative key backlight came up, but it didn't boot.

It is Based on Official CM7 Nightlies
Looks good... but cm7? cm7 nightlies still hve some bugs... and we already have official ICS, CM9 and CM10/AOKP/Paranoid almost fully working..
Btw, good luck.
Please even make A rom based on cm10..
our cm7 stable release or nightlies are not stable

Really I Don't Have Enough Time To Work More on 1 device ! I need to get CyanMobile On Many more devices !
Hm this ROM looks nice but i think you will not be sucessful with this Version for our OptimusBlack. CM7 was a piece of s***. Uncountable Bugs, hangs, freezes and the Main Problem SODs...
So i will not install this ROM cause its based on bad CM7. We have offical CM10 ROMs for OB and its stable as hell although its currently at Nightly status. CM7 camcorder does not work, in CM10 we can record bugfree at 720p...
But good luck with this ROM ^^

Honest oppinion?Completely useless because the max that could be done from quite unstable and bugy CM7 for P970 has been done by Boype and with ICS at the door and yet excellent ICS tester and CM10 and all Paranoid, AOKP, MiUi versions based on CM10 is just a lot of work for you, my friend and not much use for us OB users.Best regards and good work.
woah I was excpecting something like that.
RC CM 7.2.0 is marked as stable and is stable for me. I also tried the latest CM7 nightly (16/09/12), and don't recommend it because I got many freezes, fcs and reboots.
however, even if you've good intends, honnestly, with CM10 nearly stable enough to become a RC soon, it would rather work on it as early as possible because I think you'll waste your time. please don't take it bad. I mean, even the CM team jumped from CM7 to CM10 for obvious reasons.
if you can do the same job on a CM10 base, don't waste this precious time on CM7 for that device...
A lot of posts here are saying that CM7 is unstable. That it not the case. The only real issue is the camera is limited to 15 fps when recording.
All the other complaints/issues are easily fixed with existing mods/tweaks/replacement apps. Pretty much, a default CM7 installation gives a few (vocal) people issues, a bit of tweaking gives a fast, fluid, stable experience.
Given the current state of CM10 and the hardware limitations of the P970, sticking with CM7 is a good choice.

im gonna go and put my head where it dont belong also....
in my opinion, yeah like someone previously said, the bulk of fixes and optimization for cm7 has ald been done by Boype's mod. and for most the rest of the addons can be applied by the user themselves, cm7 has always been buggy sod, screen freeze, not going into deep sleep, toggles not working properly, etc, so if your intention is to smoothen it all out... like mentioned earlier boype has ald sorted almost 97% of them.
I'd +1 on working on cm10, cos honestly... been using it frm M2 and ive yet to encounter a single sod or screen freeze..... yeah battery is abit whack tho, but there are also mods and stuff for that. all the base functions of a smartphone works beautifully in cm10. its is prob one of the 4 daily drivers i use cos its so stable....

I had modded official cm7 device config so that bug should there! but please test somebody and tell me if it boots and works as cm7! so i can continue further

We could be really lucky, that we don't talk about cars or stuff like that ("please try this airbag, because i don't own this type of car...")
For a 13 year old kid you have quite some confidence.I don't really know how much succesful your rom will be with P970 users.Maybe a year ago but now?CM7 was never very good for our phone and if we wanna use a GB rom, we have Zeus rom which is a GB masterpiece.

For some reason build #4 bootloops for me. Tried few times with different times for the batter pull. No luck. Pretty weird since I remember testing #2 or #1 working no problem.

CHANGLELOGS:
2-28-2013 Build 3 Latest cyanmobile sync. Uses the stock CM7 kernel but with the Cyanmobile ramdisk. So if you would like any other cm7 kernels ported, get permission and I'll make the boot.img available.
These lines need to be added to the init.olympus.rc for other cm7 kernels to work. You might be able to set via script or adb shell echo after every boot.

Nice rom guy, got a small problem when you have a call. you can not see the red or green button to answer or not. the only to answer is to press at the menu button and return button to reject.

There's a setting to choose one, or you can delete it in system/media.

It's a feature that is turned on by default. Answering by menu button. Turn it off in settings /CyanMobile settings /calls/allow Incall touch ui <--- check this

Uncheck settings /CyanMobile settings /performance /boot sound or delete poweron.ogg in system/media

What battery life report do you expect a day after the release? Check it yourself.
As for me, it never booted, weird, and god damn i hate that boot sound, it takes forever hah, and i was around people, so awkward, i will try again now that im alone.

Actually that's why i waited a day, so people who did installed from the first moment could tell me.. but if you can't answer my question just don't answer.
And LOL about the sound

Sorry if i sounded rude, but i mean that one day isn't enough for testing. The first day is the most intensive in terms of usage, so is uncommon so to speak. You configure and test everything, restore apps, cache is generated for everything, so the drain is a lot bigger than a normal day.
Been running this battery is OK. Agree boot up sound is at best a horror.
ROM seems stable not a big fan of setting layout. Will report back in a couple days with feedback.

The CyanMobile ramdisk is different than cm7. if you would like any other cm7 kernels ported, get permission and I'll make the boot.img available. Technically, cm7 kernels should flash and boot. But if setting don't stick, you know why.
These lines need to be added to the init.olympus.rc for other cm7 kernels to work. You might be able to set via script or adb shell echo after every boot.
