[Q] Regarding Bluetooth input devices - LG Optimus 2x

Since I am no longer using my P990 as a smartphone I am thinking of using it as a "mini HTPC" on my TV. I tried several ROMs and different things to get the most of it but I have a huge problem with my bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
On Gingerbread and (the new v30a) ICS I can pair the devices but I wont see a mouse pointer and the phone will simply not react to inputs I do with my mouse and keyboard.
On JB CM10 I can pair the devices and also see a pointer. Both mouse and keyboard work perfect the way I want them to but the main problem I have with CM10 is the HDMI landscape problem.
It´s quite cool to get bluetooth with my devices working but it´s also pretty useless if the TV output is rotated 90 degrees.
Is there any way I can get my devices working with the original ICS? Is bluetooth a kernel problem or can´t this be fixed easily?
I also searched for the CM10 HDMI out problem and possible fixes but couldn´t find anything. If there is something out there, please let me know.
Thanks a lot!

So I did some more tests yesterday and it seems that bluetooth is not kernel related. Are there any hacks/tools/apps to support more input devices on ICS?

[Q] Any known bluetooth issues

Hi,
Any zeemote users? There is a zeemote driver on the market which seems to replicate the functionality of GamePro.
Zeemote JS Ctrl Input Method
It works fine with an N1/Zeemote, but not on the SGS.
Are there any known bluetooth issues with the stock ROM that might cause this?
I'm thinking of trying Froyo to see if this fixes it.
Thanks.
they did include mouse and keyboard support in froyo
so chances of getting those bluetooth controller working are greater
in 2.1 mouse and keyboard are not supported

Ok, thanks.
Anyway, I updated to Froyo JPK, and the damn app disappeared from the market. I rooted and tried eris market fix, but it just won't show up. I did a wipe after flashing, so it's not a market cache issue I don't think.
Is there any way of grabbing the apk from the N1 I got it working on?

[Q] Bluetooth Keyboard Headaches (CM7)

Hey Guys,
I was really pumped when bluetooth came out because having a bluetooth keyboard really completes the nook color. I bought a small DSI compact keyboard which (physically) kind of sucks. My real problem though seems to be one of connectivity. The keyboard connects and works for a bit, but any time I get to really typing on it it loses the connection to the nook. Then I have to wait for it to reconnect and IF it does the whole issue repeats.
I'm certainly willing to buy a new keyboard. Before I do though I want to know if this is an issue with the BT or the KB. Does anybody have a perfectly working BT keyboard and can you recommend a particular model/brand. My goal is something compact and portable. Preferably one that folds up if possible.
Thanks
Currently the BT stack in the Nook has a VERY limited range, measured in inches not feet. Since BT uses the same antenna as the WiFi (same chip as well) the issue is PROBABLY a power setting in configuration or in the kernel.
Now we have a stable CM7 hopefully the devs will be able to focus on this item.
In other words it probably isn't your keyboard and waiting a couple of weeks to see if there is progress on the BT strack will be more productive.
Thanks for the reply. I had heard that. For the most part I have the keyboard flush against the nook, but I'm sure you're right.
I'll be patient.

Best Nexus 7 Set up

Hello all
I thought i would let you know of my set up i have for my nexus 7, ever since day 1 on nexus ownership the desktop has been un used, it is such a amazing tablet, far better that ipads and other android tabs which ive owned.
if anyone is looking for a do-it-all set up i have to let you know of mine.
I wanted a Bluetooth keyboard so i got the Logitech android Bluetooth keyboard which was great, after a bit of use i thought i would get a Bluetooth mouse as i didn't want USB cables all over, so i got the Microsoft wedge tough, such a weird mouse, but it is fantastic. The problem was lag, when i had both the keyboard and mouse on (both Bluetooth) they keyboard kept lagging, for example if i typed android it would look like andrrrrrrrrrrrrrroid. this was so annoying so i got the wedge Bluetooth keyboard, again a fantastic keyboard and connected them both, the problem was still there so i experimented with some applications and i found one which solved the problem, if anyone is having the same issue then download external keyboard helper, ever since i got this app i have had no problems, i have seen a few threads so i thought this would hopefully help people out.
If you are looking for a keyboard and mouse combo, go out and get the Microsoft wedge touch and keyboard, there expensive yes, but they are so good, and get hold of the app, currently I'm using the demo version and it has solved the problem, but if anyone has tried the full can you let me know how good it is and whether it is worth forking out the few quid
For audio i sue the Logitech Bluetooth audio hub, so i can use my half decent creative t40's wirelessly both on my nexus 7 my one x and with my desktop, even with the 3 Bluetooth devices connected to my nexus 7 i still have not encountered any other issue with bandwidth or lagging anymore.
i hope this helps some people out there that were experiencing the same problem that i was if anyone needs any help with the Bluetooth problem on JB then let me know and ill help out to the best of my abilities

Does the app work with the Logitech keyboard and other mice?
---------- Post added at 12:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:53 PM ----------
How well is the microsoft mobile keyboard optimized for Android?
i got the helper pro, it helped alot but still have the issue of when both bt keyboard and bt mouse are connected the browser freezes, restarts.
i have tried mouse and keyboard individually and are 100% perfect on there on.
i still get aaaaaa but rarely with KHP and both bt Kb/mouse connected.
tried usb keyboard with otg cable and bt mouse all was perfect
incidentally for those wanting to fix this it must be with n7/jb as the bt mouse and bt KB work perfect on my htc one x when used in the same configuration as we have the problem on the n7/jb
Spot on!

[q] 4xhd bluetooth puzzling!!!

Hi everyone,
there is a big confusion around bluetooth compatibility topic, and I would like to solve my problem.
Lots of people in the world are not able to understand when a bluetooth device is compatible with LGP880 or not.
I need a phisical bluetooth mouse and keyboard to use in mhl mode, I already buy a Trust Zanoo BT 2.0 mouse but it partially work, in fact works only inside BLUE DROID APP, outside this app there is no way to see a pointer, crazy!!!!
I'm not sure the problem is only 2.0 or 3.0 BT version.
For keyboards there is no problem, a lot of well working KB are available on the market
Which parameters should we look on a BT device to be sure that a this device will work on our phone sistem?
My 4XHD have JB 4.0.3 original OS.
Many thanks to everyone will contribute tothis topic.

Bluetooth Gamepad Problem

Guys I have a problem with our beloved xperia and I'm posting only now because I am sure now it's actually the phone, not the device (I tried it on an old KitKat Samsung and a nougat moto g... Everything is fine there).
So I have an iPega 9025 bluetooth gamepad which was working all right in my previous Nexus 5.
Here's the problem: FIRST TIME I try to pair the pad everything is fine, gamepad is working as it should be in games, emulators and within the android system. After first use though, if I turn off the gamepad and turn it on again it just doesn't work. I can see the Bluetooth icon in bar system and I see it in Bluetooth settings as Connected, it just does doesn't work.
Before u ask, I already tried going in Scanning settings and play with WiFi Scanning and Bluetooth scanning (on or off) : it doesn't change anything
I also tried in Developer Options in change Bluetooth AVRCP version from 1.6 to 1,4: doesn't change anything.
Bummer, I was planning on heavyly using emulators and games...
Does somebody has my same problem? Or maybe it's just this particular ipega gamepad having some sort of conflict with our xperia? In that case, does somebody is using some other Bluetooth Gamepad and NOT having any problems?
P. S. I'm on last build 47.1.A. 2.374
Nobody...?
