[Q] Does S3 Mini Support Flash Player? - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey,
Does S3 mini support flash player? If it doesnt is it a software problem or a hardware problem? Can we expect flash suport later on?

Google dropped Flash support from Android 4.1 and up, so the Galaxy S3 Mini does not support it, nor will it ever.
EDIT: Actually, it does support Flash, really sorry for that!

Actualy it supports flash, only it is not preinstaled. You have to manualy install from adobe site, coz it is no longer on the play store, and use it with the browser that have flash support like the stock bdowser.

Hey, I didn't know that, thanks! I just read how Google dropped support and that browsers were disabling it (Dolphin has it off by default, for example) so I thought that it wouldn't work...
Again, sorry for the wrong info!
It actually works well on our device, you just have to download and install it manually from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html (Flash Player 11.1.for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.34)).

It is like XDA If Samsung drops the SIII Mini Developement that doesn't mean that the SIII mini devs wouldn't continue doing great things

this has been asked an hundred milion billion times. IT IS POSSBILE, IF you use SKYFIRE to convert flash to HTML, and it you just wanna run flash, we need an Operating System that supports Flash lite, like BFloyo did, to bad the project was canceled, it would have been great to have flash on our phones(Even if it was FLash lite)
I wish this would implement in our phone. I really want to try playing FB games in my phone like in iPhone or iPod Touch
oh. ok. thanks.
how about flash games from facebook?

If you flash a custom rom Like CM7 or something you can install this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1155538
It worked on my X8
Flash 10.2 version works with most of the Roms out there I persionally used it with gingerxperia, cm7, mini cm, miui, gingercrutz. It works with all but it is bit laggy

What are you talking huh? Galaxy mini has arm6 and flash player doesn't work with this processor, but this modded one works. If it is working on yours means you have the modded one installed or may be you are confused....

[Q] Multi ROM support?

Hi ppl, I bricked and received my new Mini, so I'm happy.
Now, I'm asking for multi ROM support, it is possible on our Mini?
Example:
I want CM7 to play games and CM9 for normal use.
It's called "Multiboot" (like Windows + Linux on PC) and I don't know any Developer who had done this for Mini.

How did you brick your phone ?
And I have wondered about this question myself but I don't think it is possible to have Multiboot.

Using stuff here on a different phone

Hey guys so I used to be using an x8 and now I have a Samsung galaxy mini 2 so I was wondering can I like use the apps here like flash player?
And can I flash roms here on my phone I really liked GDX?
Sent from my GT-S6500 using xda app-developers app
Yes, u can use any app. But if u make roms and include apps, u should give credits to them. Nope, u cant flash roms for ur device that have made for x8
Sent from a god in Heavens
No every app. For example: you can't use flash player because it is modified for old armv6 devices when mini 2 is armv7.

Short answer no way. Stunner is based on CM10.1 not TW. Default Samsung app needs the framework of TW to work. There are alternatives in the playStore though.
