Screen Protector - Galaxy Camera Accessories

While waiting to see if Samsung will release the camera covers they displayed on demo, I'm using a generic camera case. Thought it would be a good idea to get a screen protector as well, so ordered one of these -
http://www.dsstyles.com/accessories/samsung-galaxy-camera-ek-gc100-screen-protector-transparent.html
Cost is $11.33
Anyone else using a screen protector?
I found some cheaper protectors, that came with 6 in a pack, but my experience is that those are usually a waste of money, so went for the DSStyles one instead.

There is Screen Protector for Galaxy Camera, it cost me around RM59 (USD12.98).
It comes with two screen protector, at least you have a backup if the primary screen protector spoil.

Where did you get them?

I got it from authorize dealer in KL, Malaysia.
Have you check from the local store in your area?

I actually just bought a Galaxy Tab 2 Zagg Invisible Shield from Best Buy and had them match the Amazon price of $8 when I bought it and trimmed to fit. It may not be the perfect solution, however it is pretty close if you can cut a straight line and use pencil and paper to trace the screen size.

Do i need a case for nexus s?

if you are willing to play your phone's life , and if it doesn't hurt you when your phone is dropped or scratched, then take off your case ...
otherwise ....

Ringke makes a very thin case if you like the style:
http://www.rearthusa.com/Nexus-S_c_109.html
It's pretty close to my idea of a perfect case when it's new, but it tends to stretch out after a month or two.
A quality alternative is the Mercury case, but it's significantly thicker. The phone is thin to begin with, so I didn't mind the added bulk--I actually enjoy the little bit of bulk it adds.
Looks not that bad... i don't really mind scratch... I'll give it a try later on... thanks

No not at all actually. unless you are capable of dropping it.
That is not a bad case at all iGoogle. However it doesn't fit an i9023 (or NS4G).
Also, you can get it from eBay for about $1.70 or so, which is where i got mine (which i sadly can't use..). Easily the best bang-for-buck case available, if bought from eBay.

Its relatively thin and super cheap.
I don't like the feel of the buttons but apart from that I think it's a great case.

You don't need a case.
You don't need a case neither a screen protector. They make your nexus look very big.
The screen is very good, and very hard to scratch. About the back cover, it scratches very easily, so you can change it for another official back cover from time to time. One with NFC and everything is six dollars on ebay.

Can you post some pics please?
Just received mine this morning, for the money it's a fantastic case (the carbon fiber effect looks a little cheap but fine for the price and it's well made) and the magnets and stand work perfectly!

I quite like the Carbon fiber lol. Has a premium feel to it and the stand is very sturdy thanks to the support on the back. Have the white to match my S3 (Not my S2 in the background, that's my colleagues')
I've had this case for a couple of days and it's a bargain for the price, feels solid, the lock/sleep function works well and the N7 fits snugly inside, I have a few niggles such as the stand doesn't work very well in vertical orientation (may just require some more breaking in of the pleather), and the velcro strap that holds the N7 in place causes the case to bulge a little on one side. But I'm not sure you can really expect perfection from something in this price range, the free stylus/pen is a nice addition too.
Just ordered one myself today.

Hiya i also purchased the ghub pro pop carbon fibre case (in black not white) which was great but i love the pen and would have happily just paid the 10 pounds for the pen. Im forever using my tablet even when I'm eating so the beauty of this pen for me is that i can use the tablet without getting the screen dirty. Im guessing they must of sent you a wrong one in error
I need to find some a couple more of these i know I'm going to lose the one i got free with the case. Hopefully they will sell it separately as well i have emailed the seller GHUB
also brought a bluetooth speaker called sw50 from the same seller as well to stream the music from this device and also from my s3 phone @19.99. check it out its louder than my bedroom hi fi
anyway just signed on to thank whoever started this thread as he lead me to the right case which also arrived in less than 24 hours as well
thanks

Very dissapointed Spigen isn't making a glas.t for Note 2

I just installed the Spigen Oleo plastic protector, and while it's a good as such go, it's no glas.t. I had the Glas.t on my Note 1 and loved it.
With the Oleo (and I'm sure other covers would be the same) the pen moves very roughly, not at all what you'd want if you are taking notes and want accuracy.
Very disappointed. I'm sure the reason is the complaints about edges not sticking and such... but if they'd simply include 2 in every package, like with the plastics, there's be less of an issue with returns. I loved mine, no issues with edges.
If any of you feel the same please make your voices heard with Spigen so that they might reconsider and produce the cover.
Any we needed another thread for this?

Now i did read this thread but i dont remember if anyone asked. Isnt the Galaxy S3 screen curved like the Note 2? I asked Spigen if they were making the screen protector and they said the curved screen is why they are not making it.

Yes the s3 has a curved screen. I believe they had problems with the s3 glass screen protector thats why they chose not to make one for the note 2.
Sent from my Galaxy Note 2
After using the Spigen Oleophobic screen I'm a lot less concerned about the lack of the glas.t. The spen slides over this protector like glass as it is, so no real need for the glas.t after all. Happily surprised.
they did it!!

i remember they did release glas.t for note 2, but they all had some weird sensitivity problem. thus they have decided to not make anymore for the note 2. but i could be wrong. or i remembered it wrongly, and the sensitivity issues were for the s3.

I already ordered the one i posted, The price is 1/2 that of the link. I also emailed the person from the link if this is a all clear version without colour boarders, the item is for pre-order, so it's not finalised yet.
my photos are the actual stock, so it seems like it will not affect the sensors.

Note 3 Cases & Screen Protectors

I didn't see any threads discussing cases/screen protectors for the Note 3. Worth such a big screen and price tag I feel it's ab pretty valid discussion. I am currently using the black Incipio Watson Folio case. It was my pick of the 2 options att offered when I bought it Friday morning. Along with the Moshi I visor XT screen protector. Which was also 1 of 2 options available.

Sounds cool. I couldn't find a case for mine but i got the invisashield HD for mine.

I let GayT&T soak me for a rapey $47.56 for a BodyGuardz Pure. Is comparable to the Spigen GLAS.Tr, but the Tr doesn't come out till the 10th, and i needed protection pronto.
Is a piece of glass that sticks to your screen. hardly noticeable. Very smoothy. I am very pleased. doesn't appear that it will begin to lift around the edges or anything. It is slightly corny up at the very top, it almost appears to have a negative taper that is beginning to collect slight amounts of pocket lint, but nothing really.
Sales on the Pure don't include MOH hardness ratings, etc. does seem inferior to spigen with higher price tag to boot. first day in the store was yesterday

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using xda app-developers app
I've been an invisashield user for many years and yeah it will get crazy like that but not that noticeable if at all when the screen is on. It will correct itself over time but continued use of the s pen it won't ever really have time to heal. I don't think it's that bad at all myself but that's just an opinion.

Im without a case myself at the moment too. AT&t had one really cheap and sad back plate case (made of cheap plastic). So I am waiting for something to be released, the AT&t guy did say he had some memos saying Samsung was working on one, just sad it didn't drop on release. But I guess I can wait, at least until I drop my phone and then scream "Damn it if only I had a case!"

The dry ones are just like the crappy, scratch prone protectors. Learn from my mistake & don't bother.

Looks like the code has expired. Just tried to use it and it isn't taking it anymore says it expired on the 16th. Hate I missed out.
Bought some when they were 90%. Got a bad batch and contacted customer service. They immediately sent replacements. It's still curing but I'm liking the look thus far. I bought the full body protection. I like how the back has a better grip now.
If anyone has a new discount code for these, please pass it on. Would love to try them out. Thanks.
Just got mine today, shipped to Sweden in about a week.
Bought 1 regular and one "HD" (dry install). Payed all together $2 (!!!) with shipping to Sweden.
Just applied the dry HD one, looks all right, but doesn't reach all the way out to the edges, missing 1,5-2 mm.
Got 2-3 dust particles stuck when applying, and all of them creates a small air pocket around it, that I hope will go away.
Gonna let it stay on for a while, and see how it works out.

Got two dry-apply screens for 80 cents!
I just needed the thinnest scratch-resistant screens to protect the Gorilla Glass of the M8. I'm putting the rest of it in a heavy-duty 2-layer silicone and polycarbonate case anyhow.
Just got a full body kit and hd protector for 1.30 thanks! I thought I'd get away form the Invisible Shields, and these look promising
Do I miss discount? Anyway, can someone who uses protector for back side can share his/her thoughts? I don't like screen protectors but I consider to buy protector for back side.
