Ufff, that would be awesome if true, but I'm still a beginner

Looking forward to using this Rom. Unfortunately I rely on Wi-Fi a lot, so I will have to hold off for now. Definitely following the progress of your work on this tho.

RC3 is up, afaik everything works..

the smoothest rom ever tested on my phone but...
whenever i try to make a phone call it fcs and i get voice call not supported. cannot receive call as well. would love to use if i get a fix... thanks for this great work!

You're using RC2, which had a borked phone.apk, download RC3 and flash it; all of those issues are solved
It was a showstopper bug I fixed earlier

Very nice work. Didn't have reception on my first boot. Rebooted my phone again and all is working great
Sent from my cm_tenderloin using Tapatalk 2

Pretty good on this end too. These ported ROMs are very stable and either of the JB ones are a good choice.
Only issue as I mentioned over in the Ehndroix thread is whether or not the internal SD card will auto mount because both of these ROMs use CM10 as a base. On one boot it might and another it might not. It's a bug some of us are getting and some aren't. OC kernel will fix auto mount but you have to be very careful what governor you choose and how much OC you do or the phone will lock up. Using "ondemand" right now, cfq I/O.

Using RemICS-JB 3.0.1 w/ SpeedyGonzalez 1.5.5. Really loving this. Thanks a lot for this. I have not run into any issues yet that weren't user error >.<.

RC4 is out, the biggest changes are that it sounds nicer and the keyboard is less mind numbing

Nice, love the audio add-ons and can't wait to try them. Do you know off hand if they work with third party apps like Poweramp or just stock players? Thanks for updating!

I believe they do; I use my phone as a music player in general and there is a hugely noticeable difference in sound quality on my phone and when my phone is plugged into stereo speakers

Can I flash over RC3 with a dalvik/cache wipe or do I need to do a full wipe?

(ROM) Biffmod Vibrant v1.3 - 2.3.5 AOSPish (8-9-2011)

Now available on rommanager and the Biffmod home page http://ibmirror.us/biffmod
Biffmod for vibrant is here. I think you'll enjoy it.
The goal here was to create a stock 2.3.5 feel for the vibrant , preserve the customization options of Cyanogenmod, and add the features I felt were missing.

*black camera
*notification widgets
*overclock capable kernel (1.7ghz)
*voodoo color and sound
*BLN/LED Notifications (on by default, the BLN app is not compatible)

This should be good for daily driver. GPS WORKS!
Credit goes to : koush, cyanogenmod team, TK-Glitch, jonathangrigg, samsung, google, your mother (if i missed someone, PM me and I'll fix it. Don't want anyone feeling like I kingklickxd them)
Thanks to the patient community for putting up with mah "devvin"
I don't care for donations, if you like my "work" feel free to press the thanks button down there
DOWNLOAD VERSION 1.3 here
Steps to install
1. Download rom and put on the root of your sdcard
2. Select ROM in Rom manager
3. Select wipe data, cache, dalvik
4. PROFFIT!!!!!
IF YOU ARE GETTING A SCRIPT ASSERT ERROR I'VE WRITTEN A SHORT EXPLANATION OF WHY THIS HAPPENS.
it happens when your build.prop says you have an i9000 instead of a vibrant. some roms change that for ffc support and other reasons, hence why odining back to stock "fixes" it. other option is to use a correct build.prop and make make your ro.product.model=SGH-T959
No need to odin back to stock before flashing this and GB bootloaders aren't required
if the glitch kernel freaks out on you... you may need a different leakage version. Source code and updates for glitch kernel, can be found in the following thread ------->http://bit.ly/pNkURn
CHANGELOG:
*V1.3:
-No wipe update
-Added Cm7 GPS fix (thanks jwleonhart, roffee, jad3675)
-Added Rootzwiki forum app
-Added Voodoo Control app (thanks supercurio)
-----------------
*V1.2:
-Full wipe update
-Fixed graphical glitch on background sync
-Replaced Protips with lulz
-Removed Voltage Control App
-added glitch kernel (oc, uv, voodoo color and sound)
-mix of aosp/cm7 now
-super fast now

Hey everyone, welcome to Supra ROM!
This ROM is a split between Sense and AOSP, carrying over some of my favorite aesthetic features of vanilla Gingerbread while maintaining a Sense base for a unique experience unlike any ROM available for the Incredible.
**If you like it just post a reply telling me what you'd like to see improved, changed, added, removed, or any bugs that come up.**
This Rom is a port of SupraROM for the EVO3D. Original thread by Empiire can be found HERE
Thanks to Empiire for letting me bring this ROM to the Incredible
Thanks also to and in no particular order:
Wildstang
Joelz
Newtoroot
Nilsp
CyanogenMod
*This is a BETA release of this ROM.
*Most things are working.
*This ROM currently uses the leak Gingerbread Sense kernel, OTA kernel has been causing WiFi issues for me.
*There is also some resizing that still needs to be done but these things will all be addressed soon.
*Any other bugs or issues please report in the thread.
I've tested this using clockwork recovery and recommend using clockwork. To install perform a full factory wipe, wipe cache, scroll to advanced and wipe dalvik. Also always remember to do a backup before flashing. This is a BETA release. Full wipe needed even from previous release!
What doesn't work
Gallery - Use quick pic from market
HTC Music works for music on SD not emmc - Use DoubleTwist or similar market music player for emmc music
Let me know if you find anything else.
What works
Everything else!

Well I'm running MIUI rom but what I hate because I don't like the launcher setup is when I use another, I only get the one music widget because I'm not using the original launcher. I'd love to have the big widget.
Mm, I might give this a try.
Currently when I flash a rom I don't back up because I got 5 Roms on my other SD. If I back up this rom will it save my current work? Like all my apps on my homescreen, etc.?
If I do back up, what should I use?

Backing up will save your current setup exactly how you have it. Boot into recovery, scroll to backup/restore and select backup. Then you can wipe and flash and if you want to go back to what you have now then boot into recovery, select backup/restore, restore and choose the one that's date and time stamped with the backup you want to return to.

[ICS][App][Modded] ICS Browser - fixed rotation issues

Modded ICS Browser
- fixed rotation issues and flickering -
I was terribly annoyed by the rotation issues and crashes of the default ICS Browser.
Turning the phone from landscape to portrait crashed or at least flickered the Browser.
Well.. not anymore!
I tried lots of things over the past few weeks, both in my ICS ROM and in the Browser itself but all of them failed - until today.
So here I present... a modded ICS Browser.apk with fixed rotations:
For users:
Download here: Browser-rotationfixed-tonyp-v2.zip
For odexed ROMs you need this version:
Download odexed version: Browser-rotationfixed-odexed-tonyp-v2.zip
It's a flashable zip, you can simply install it via CWM.
Or extract the Browser.apk and do it manually.
Note that this breaks Flash videos within the browser as that relies on hwa.
For developers:
To build a browser with working rotation it should be enough to to use the following line for this particular app within the Manifest.
Code:
<application android:label="@string/application_name" android:icon="@mipmap/ic_launcher_browser" android:name="Browser" android:taskAffinity="android.task.browser" android:backupAgent=".BrowserBackupAgent" [B]android:hardwareAccelerated="false"[/B]>
Reference: http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/graphics/hardware-accel.html
I gladly share this with everyone, but would like to get at least mentioned at the Credits.
It's no allmighty ueber super hacker tweak - but I debugged it for quite some time to find the culprit.
Keep in mind that we lived with a broken browser for 8 month until I were able to find this solution!

Wonderful! I've been using firefox lately because of this--i will try the stock again. Thanks so much!

I always thought the app section was for app recommendations or apps compatible or specially made for a phone
And this section was for everything that involves android development and since the browser is part of the Android building process I assumed it wasn't misplaced here
However I could be completely wrong
Anyway it is awesome so let's go back on topic hehe
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium HD app
Yeah well you're probably right, it could fit into both sections. If you created IT (ROM, kernel, guide,...) it can go into the dev section.
There's a simple reason why I choose this section, apart from the reasons owain listed. This is IMHO something a lot of people were waiting for and the development section has way more readers.
So I did the section choice on purpose, for you out there
Sent from my LG-P990 using xda app-developers app
For me it`s the right section, because it isn`t a "normal" app, you can`t install it on all roms,
(possibly you can call it a CM9 system-component), if you post it in themes/apps section, I guess some users will try to install it on Stock-Roms,
and wonder that it doesn`t work,
You beautiful man, this is incredible! Thank you so much!
And for all your work! I'm running Eaglesblood B5, and I can't really see many things going funky, if any!

I tried to modify Chrome as well, but that didn't work.
Chrome apperantly relies too much on the new 2D hardware accelleration which is broken for the 2x until LG.. you know the rest.
I was able to fix the crash when pressing the tab button, but that broke even more things lol. As I don't have a lot of time within the next couple weeks I just hope LG will release something. But honestly I think, if we'll get ICS at all, it won't be before November.
Just know we all love you for your efforts. The scene here would be totally different without you!

Please wipe the browser data at settings - apps and then use a tool like root explorer and go to /system/app and change the permissions to exactly the same as all other apps. I think I might have set the wrong permissions at the updater-script, will check that somewhen at the next days.

Are you using a different kernel? Also I think I have a fix for video.

Nope. The solution is easy though, I just don't have to reboot ever! The video fix works though.

We do not direct to or post where to get proprietary .apks that is illegal.
So does the camera work in this rom like cm10?

2/25/13 Notes
Alright, I've tightened up the rom a LOT and it will use much less ram and be more efficient in general.
On the first boot make sure to grant SuperSU access, SuperSU works better with this rom in general
and this release has no issues with root whatsoever.
The stock Kernel is fine speed-wise now, and there should not be any significant lag or slow-down from
using it, but I've also uploaded a modified DBK that Tim has given me the ok to use for people who want
overclocking and so on!
Downloading now, will begin testing as soon as its loaded. One question, is the MIUI home FC issue of the past fixed?

All FC issues are resolved I made a Kernel specifically for MIUI roms on our device, it is included with this rom
The Home, Theme FCs and so on were the result of us not having a MIUI Kernel
Awesome, looking forward to this.

Worth noting If you flash any other kernel it will break the rom : P
Very nice work, I've noticed a little slowdown here and there but nothing major. Its pretty smooth. So far everything seems to work fine, it has been less than 24 hours, but I'm really liking the rom so far. Thanks for this.
Edit: I found that the slowdown was from my error, it was a bad tweak. The rom is super smooth now.

Is it over clocked, if not is that in the works?

the theme controll seems to keep force closing
battery life has been atrocious on this one
I'd like to start by saying If you try to flash an OC kernel or any kernel beside the one provided, it will BREAK the rom.
When installing any new rom, It's best to let the device discharge the battery fully, then make sure the phone receives a complete charge before booting, If you do not do this on any rom you try battery life will be atrocious.
I've begun testing a build which does not require a custom Kernel, but for the build that does eventually I will try to add support for the other kernels we have
So this kernel is not oced and nobody responded to my download issue

Sorry, Download on d-h.st? Can you specify
and nah, the kernel has no OCing whatsoever, If you guys have a favorite kernel suggest and I'll make the required edits to them
and, with my fully fresh install, theme control is FC-ing
what did you do to the kernel to make it a "miui" kernel

Its just an init.rc edit to call shelld, I've also heard of folks using an init.d script to call shelld as well but doing so seems to break the rom

Do you mean theme manager? Do you have an Xiaomi account logged in? It needs it to pass DRM
Looks great, I'm installing this rom. This was buried in my to-do list all day, and I finally got some time before sleep to do so. I have never used an MIUI rom before, so I must ask, when you say flash G-apps seperatly, which package do I flash? There is a MIUI specific g- apps flash? Do I just use the available jelly bean gapps? What shall I do?
I'm kinda confused here.
So it's MIUI version 3.2.8, not the true MIUI v4 right?
You named this MIUIv4 ??

It's MIUIv4, I don't understand how they do their own internal versions.
