Glider Gloves - Galaxy Note II Accessories

For those of us who are addicted to our smart phones and are risking frostbite I found this and LOVE them! Perfect for playing Ingress in the cold and the best part is they're Canadian made so you know that us Canucks know all about the cold!

Great share man, might actually consider these.

If you're really attached to your own gloves, I've seen diy options for "touch-screen gloves." They usually just involve sewing conducting thread (often silver) into a few fingers and making sure it can conduct from your fingers to the screen.

These actually look pretty good. I picked up a cheap pair of conductive gloves a few weeks ago but they're rather thin, and with poor circulation they probably won't do much in the long run so I'll definitely have to look into these. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah. Was -30c in Calgary today but my hands were good and toasty (-22f for those South of the border). These gloves are wonderfully sensitive.

This looks pretty cool I was looking to get a pair of gloves like this for the winter. I also like the North Face Etip gloves.

I'm guessing that means you have the winter style not the urban style right? Do your fingers still move real easily with them on?

Don't forget about the s-pen. No matter what gloves you use with that it will always work. Obviously, not everyone is keen on the s-pen so this is definitely a cool item.

I have the E-Tip gloves too. They work good with this phone. The size alone helps. As I have used them with the Sensation and One S before that.

It works, but I'm more comfortable using my hands, and I type faster regularly than when using any swype-like keyboard, so these gloves are definitely something I'll be looking into, especially with their rather cheap international shipping rates.
I'm just not sure whether I want the "urban" style or the "winter" style.

Yup I've got the winter ones. Yeah I'm real picky about having full mobility in my hands. No problems with this though.

I bought it yesterday - it is wide enough to hold the note 2 but it's at the limit of the holder's maximum width. Not sure I'll keep it as it's maybe a tad too flimsy. I would be a bit afraid that the plastic arm might break and then note would fall.
Thanks for the tip though, joey.

I feel the same way. I just don't trust windshield mounts.
I got an iOttie for mine and have it suctioned in a cubby behind my shifter in my Honda Civic. This mkes it so the holder piece leans on the edge of the opening, giving it support.
It does take the weight (doesnt fall off when driving on the bumpy cornish roads/lanes)
It fits perfectly with about a cm to spare
It might look flimsy but its actually quite tough
If you want something better spend more than a fiver

This is a tenner in my local tesco - how did you get it for a fiver? Coupons?
I didn't mean to be overly critical of it by the way - it looks solid enough. I think I will have my phone mostly in portrait though, so i'd like something at the bottom to stop it slipping down.

No probs, all in good jest.

I've been using the Mountek MT5000-D and it's great.
Works great with both my note 1 and my note 2.
I was using the tetrax x-way before but it just couldn't handle the weight of the note.
it would just keep falling off.

Looking for the most awesome cleaning cloth!
I miss the great cleaning cloth that came with my Prime, too bad it was one of the few things that worked well in that tablet
Anyway, looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance!
shamwow?
your average microfiber cloth works great for the screen
shamwow and use the schticky
I use the 5-6 I had from my TF-700 returns. They are bigger than a standard cloth, and very high quality.

Just buy any microfiber cloth from the store. They work just as well as the freebies. Sometimes they are there on the pegs at check out at Wal Mart.
I use this, comes with screen cleaner and a huge suede type screen cloth, cool case too. Only thing I'll ever wipe my device screens with;

lol yeah I kept the cloth from my TF700 when I returned it, figured it would go great with my N10!
use a microfiber and clean it with something to clean glasses like Optinet. That why i use for my N7 (stil lwaiting my N10 !) and it works well.

Not there yet. I've been looking and emailed case mate they said just keep looking. looking thanks
my 2 cents
Hi all,
Just wanted to chime in on this case. The protection is great and the side grips make the feel more solid as opposed to slippery. The extended rubber on the face helps when it is facedown or when it potentially drops so it's not flush against the floor/table. My only beef is that the kickstand rubber part has come loose so i'm not sure how durable that part is, it's not that much of a hassle as I can still manage to prop it up but I'm afraid it will eventually break off.
Most complaints are about the difficulty of getting the kickstand out
P.S. all ports are accessible i.e. stylus, charger, headphones, camera, speaker
Raised power & volume up/down buttons
Whats the matter with case makers these days? Release the case with just 2 colors, one is black the other is white with pink. Its exactly like body glove diamond series... ffs have they ever thought men uses with white case too? Why pink?? Could just use red and that would plays with well with both genders...
Nice looking case but have always had the rubber part warp on every case I had. Evo 4g, evo 3d, and the skyrocket. I ended up using the speck case for my note 2. Even if anything happens to it I can exchange it for free at the att store.

I wish there was an actual verbal review. Maybe to describe the quality of the materials and such. And of course to let us know about the possible signal problem. Too bad that it doesn't do nfc bring such an expensive case

The OP should put an apple sticker on the back and tell all the apple-fans that it is the new iPhone 6. Then say, "But please don't tell anyone else. I only told you, 'cause I trust and like you."
I do want the blue one in a bad way but I don't think NFC will work through this.
Can't see buying a case where I am more nervous about scratching the case than the phone.

No, liquepel you mail your phone and they coat the out and in with a waterproof coating.
In my lime of business, climbing towers, for me it has to have a solid case and the waterproof.
I have already sent letters to fireproof and incepio, hopefully with enough we can get one.

that would be great. im also looking for a waterproof case
Sorry to bring this back to the top.
Im looking for a waterproof case. I searched Amazon and some other retailers who made a waterproof case for different phones and so far no luck.
Has anyone found one for the G2?
I just remembered a company that makes waterproof skins for certain devices. iOttie .. They make one for the SGS4 and I think that might be the same size as the LG G2 and it might work.
Then just place it in a rugged case. Boom!
I'd be interested in a waterproof case too. Can we maybe do more emailing to get it done?
Why don't we send it emails to Seidio for am Obex case for all of our G2s
