Urgent help needed

Yesterday i buy galaxy ace but its seems as s5830i..i try go to recovery but its cant n can i install all custom roms pls help

1. If English isn't your native language then use Google translate.
2. You can enter the recovery mode by pressing power + volume up + volume down + home button simultaneously.
3. You CANNOT install S 5830 custom roms on the 'i ' version.
4. There was no need to label this thread urgent...!!

If your using the stock recovery you can't flash any rom!
Not sure if there is a custom recovery for the s5830i

I installed CWM on my friend's S5830i...i installed CWM and even flashed CM9 on his phone..and then when the phone rebooted i realised it was 5830i and i was like !!
BUT SURPRISINGLY...EVERYTHING WENT WELL AND HIS PHONE IS RUNNING PROPER CM9

Omg, what CWM you used? And what cm9 ? Link plz. Thx.

and CM9 from here..maclaw's galaxyICS CM9

Thanks for the info.. I was having the same problem and I tried to google it and I have got the links to download it.. It was helpful..

Attached is the CWM file i used to install CWM..hope it works for you

Did you boot in to recovery mode to install that? Because mine says installation aboard.

any tested cm-7-20120805-NIGHTLY-cooper.zip latest cyanogenmod rom.
how is the battery?

Cm7 battery is good using setcpu to under clock ur phone when screen off will also help cheers

Yep and u must have Cwm installed be4 installation

It should be built from source there are some guides available i believe - just search
leap before you think

They're working on this in Development. So far all they got is that recovery is packed in with boot.img for some reason.

Its make our device more support..and make most apps that our device can use..example 'flashify'..and we can make our choise..not just use cwm...i just like Philz more.
