Best slim hardshell case? - Galaxy Note II Accessories

Can you guys rec any good slim hardshell cases for the Note2? There are tons of them out there but I'd like to buy something that is good.
What are you folks using?
Thanks!

Aegis imo

Nilkin is the best I think because it has some texture. Elago is nice but it is still too slippery.

Aluminium mesh hard covers are the best imo

Lots of nice pictures of all colors and angles here : http://www.tvc-mall.com/details/Met...-Galaxy-Note-2-II-N7100-Silver-MHC-N7100-47B/

Personally I like a case that comes over the edges a little to give that little bit of drop protection. The cruise line cases with the big android on the back are nice and firm. They are also thin.

I recommend SEIDIO's SURFACE. I bought mine with a clip holster from Amazon.Very slim and has a kickstand that works in landscape mode.

Cruzer Lite Androidified A2 TPU Case Review

Cruzer Lite Androidified A2 High Gloss TPU case
Cliffs:
Affordable. Just under 10 bucks.
Great grip & feel
Great fit, extremely slim
Ports easily accessible.
Aesthetically pleasing.
WISH THERE WAS A MATTE VERSION. Donot like the fingerprints that come native.
Great case all in all. Would buy!

Lifts up any screen protector that you put on it.
I dont have one on there yet. But that is interesting
I've also experienced this issue. Since the lip is a little thicker than some other TPU cases it will lift the screen protector in some cases.
Lifts my protectors

No issues with my SGP Ultra Crystal
these are super thin cases but why can't they make one that's just plain. Unfortunate that Diztronic decided to skip out on Note II TPU cases this time around

do you have any pictures?
I'm aware of the potential risk of lifting screen protectors, but any suggestions on how to apply to avoid lifting the SP entirely?

eBay cases?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with these cases I've been looking at on eBay.

Do they fit well? Provide good protection? Do they scratch the phone? Will they work with a full body skin? Or should I just go with an Otterbox or Trident? Are there any other rugged case makers out there?
I wanted to buy several cases, but these cases aren't worth it I guess I would just buy an Otterbox or Trident case.
First 2 case are too bulky. I have the third case and I like these style of case. They fit good and not to bulky but still provide good accidental drop protection.

the third case is nice, fits well and feels as if it wuld protect the phone...in the end I went with a defender though.

Got the third one, amazing for the price! Fits great and feels ok!
I have the third case also and it fits good and has a nice texture to it. The inner case is like a tpu case and then it has a hard shell that gets put on that covers the corners and back. If you want total protection get the Otterbox but I feel this case has good protection

I have the 3rd case as well, and liked it. Since replaced with the seidio surface.
You won't be disappointed in the 3rd one.

I also have the third one. Mine is all black and I like it. I really want the seido covert case for the extended battery.

Looking for a certain case

Hello I was just looking for a black case that is not too slippery and that is fairly protective with a lip if it is not a a diary or wallet case.

The Duzign case you can purchase from amazon or eBay. One of the least expensive cases I own, but I use it all the time. The case is identical to the Cruzerlite Spi-Force for half the price and the TPU liner is awesome.

Good luck with your search; I'm sure you'll find something suitable.
Body glove. Very slim but good protection.

When I saw the thread I thought the case was a bit of a gimmick, but once I got myself one from Amazon Warehouse and tried it myself I was surprised how good it is; thin but offers a decent amount of protection, also the grip is much better than say the Diz which I also have

Case like Spigen Slim Armor but with protruding buttons?

What case would be recommended that is similar protection as the Spigen Slim Armor but has protruding buttons and maybe better grip/texture?
I had a Spigen Slim Armor case for my S5 and really liked it. However, I looked at the S7 Slim Armor and didn't like a couple of things about it:
1. The side buttons are flush with the case making them hard to locate by feel without looking
2. The back is very smooth which feels slippery in the hand
Thanks!

If you like Spigen cases, I suggest looking into the Neo or Neo Hybrid.
I just got this last week for my S7 edge and im enjoying it, I noticed many cases dont have the grip feature on the sides anymore (why, i dunno) . Was 4$ when I got it LOL

These were also my only complaints with this case(buttons and grip). Otherwise perfect for my use.
Have you found anything similar yet?
I tried the slim armor on my S7E and ended up going with the Unicorn Beetle. Love the frosted back.
Yeah, I liked the Beetle case. I gave it a try. I am a fairly regular kickstand user which is why I liked the slim armor. Just couldn't get used to those flat buttons and slick back.

I ordered the tough armour as the dimensions are almost the same as the slim armour but the buttons protrude. Still waiting for it to arrive.

That's actually what I settled on! Love it. But I have a job where the kickstand would be handy. Speck with a kickstand would be perfect lol!

which case should i get for my S7 Edge?

As titled above, which one should I get?

I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid and their Thin Fit case, the Neo Hybrid is definitely the best case that I have seen, just don't get it in the clear version since it yellows over time, especially with wireless charging use.
I have spent so much money on cases, I bought a Piel Frama's SlimFrama case, a Noreve case, couple of Spiegen cases, and none I enjoyed using. So now up using my S7E without a case.

I personally bought samsung clear cover and spigen carbon armor. But eventually allready 2 or 3 months i'm using only dbrand skin on the back. Phone is slim and beautiful.
Just bought the 1st one off ebay. Personally i have a thin case currently but it is diwsnt absorbs drips to well. Granted all the scratches are on fhe case n not my phone but cause of all tbe drops i had my screen swapped due to dead pixels.

I bought my dad the Spigen Tough Armor case and it really does not like screen protectors. It constantly pushes it out because of how tight it is to the case.
The other, I have not much clue but I think I would recommend the Ghostek 2.0 because it does offer screen protection as well as a layer of protection to the Home Button. The home button gets scratches, which is a faulty Samsung thing. :\

Agreed. It's the only case I've tried that helps with accidental touches of the edge display during typing. It's also the only case that has tall enough side bevels that actually protect the display (with no lost functionality). Most other cases for whatever reason keep them way too low for no reason other than questionable aesthetics.
I've got the neo hybrid from spigen and I'm happy with it. It works with their screen protectors and also the BSE case fit screen protector skin.
Samsung clear cover the one that covers the back only not the flip scratch case

I got the tough armor a few days ago an its perfect. Feels great while holding and goves better grip. The neo seems slimmer but if u want good protection for accidental drops and a kickstand i recommend it.
Note the kickstand seems a bick thin and might brake easily i think but i do with out it if it ever does.
Spigen Thin Fit = the sexiest, lowest protection
Incipio & caseology = decent protection , medium bulk
UAG = max protection , max bulk & thick as a brick
Check here
I really recommend the PureGear Dualtek Pro. It's a great, safe and beautiful case.
ewww
For me it's like a crime to smash that ugly case to a such beautiful device, but if I would buy a case, it would buy just something thin so it's barely visible on the phone but protects it a bit at the same time.
Just my opinion though.
I got the Speck Dark Case for the Onyx s7 edge. Looks fantastic.
