Please see this thread for details. But be aware that a lot of it is speculation as nobody on XDA actually has it running on their phone as Sony have only supposedly released it to their developer devices (internal testing for employees only). This means that there is no ftf available to flash full stop.

If only it was that easy!
If you want Jelly Bean maybe you should unlock your bootloader and try flashing one of the JB ROMS like CyanogenMod, which you can find in the Original Android Development section.

This is a question. It should be in the Q&A thread.
But the answer is no, people have problems (even though the phone often boots) if they flash a T on a TX and vice versa
I've flashed tx 197 firmware system partition to my t.
There is no problem, unless you flash kernel too.

Thread moved. As Greg said, questions belong in the Q&A section.
I am sorry about posting it to a wrong thread, thanks for moving

Just try it and see....some people have reported problems, but you can always flash back if there is.
O I see, actually I haven't buy a tx, but I really want to buy it after I back to Hk in Christmas, but flashing Rom is one of the point that I consider most as I am using defy not and the official update are only to 2.2 while cm are already4.1 now

You can use any Rom that is based on a stock firmware and kernel.
Make sure you have cwm recovery to flash Rom

Not unless someone manages to find an exploit to unlock it.

i heard you need to be on stock based firmware to install the recovery,
but you can flash on other roms and manually flash the kernel or something like that
im not too sure,

BL is already unlockable, one unlocked u lose all DRM, there is no need for exploit.
Root was needed just to push the recovery to the stock kernel.
And CM uses a completely different kernel than the stock and the only way to flash it by unlocked BL

Exactly. I'm not sure of the chances that non-unlockable devices will become unlockable. If I said any amount if time I'd be making it up :/
One of the devs said that Sony bootloaders are locked up tight though...

Can any one give me a ftf kernel for my Xperia TX 7.0.A.3.212?

Sent from my LT29i using xda premium
You might want to try this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2040966. (There are more in the all in one thread)
Btw: an ftf is usually a complete dump and not just the kernel.
I want a rooted kernel for. 212

Why don't you root it afterwards: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327472
The thread says it's only tested for 9.1.B.1.67 and 9.1.B.0.411. But you might want to install a newer firmware anyway while you are at it. Isn't 7.0.A.3.212 ancient? (not sure, because I have a T - and the 7-series firmware versions for the T were still Ice Cream Sandwich).
I just want to root it.....

No I was asking because I want to flash the stock 4.1 ROM as it was faster than 4.3 and 4.2
So should I pick any 4.1 stock ROM or should I search for MEA virsion?

Then be more specific in your OP next time.
Try this, it's Global so should have Arabic: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2LnvIbE8v3NXzdsa2FlUUhxbVU/edit

Can't get 4.3

Why i dont get android 4.3 for my phone?

Because Sony haven't released it for your region yet.
Either flash one of the many generic FTF available in the general section or just wait until it's released.
Either way, this did not require a thread. The information is readily available here if you just look.
