After mindlessly toying with the RAZR M's CM10 build, and with help from mattlgroff, I was finally able to get CM10 with working data and WiFi to work on our beloved Atrix HD! Just one minor thing I'd like to squash out before I post it here on XDA which is getting usb storage to work. Even if it's just MTP (I may have found a way to get the old USB Mass Storage working if someone would like to link me to a system dump of the AHD's ICS build. This will likely work on all AHD JB builds.)
Here's some screenshots to wet your taste buds.
Note: The data icon doesn't show bars when connected to data but shows 3G, H, and H+, and the WiFi icon will remain gray.

Hours of research have given way to a fix for the carrier issue. About to fire up the computer and hopefully get a fully functional CM10 (minus the USB mode) port for the AHD.

Not completely sure. Just downloaded the CM10 gapps so I'm about to flash it and continue testing. I read somewhere on here a while back on how to get usb to work but I've been unable to find it for some reason.

I meant getting usb to work at all on the CM10 ports for the AHD. Seems like I was wrong. Devs are hard at work figuring this out for us.
You could always try Gapps4BatakangROMv3. Worth a shot anyway.

Well, that certainly fixed the WiFi icon. Able to get into the Play store and Google Now is functional. Only problem is that com.android.phone crashes when making a call. Hopefully I can get this working or the only way to make a call is to NOT hit okay when it crashes, then hitting okay to hang up lol.

Alright, no usb storage lol. BUT. I was able to stop the phone from crashing repeatedly and you are now able to make calls normally. One last test to make sure market is working as it should and I shall be releasing what I have so far.

Thought I had everything up and running. Data, wifi, calling, and market all work. Can't send texts for some reason, though.
Is there any graphics problems as Razr M has a qHD resolution? Thanks for your work,Neroga..

Upped the DPI to 320 (came with 240) and no problems at all. Smooth as butter. I passed out after literally messing with it all day, yesterday. Gonna upload what I have so far once I get out of work for people to mess with.

Hopefully someone can find something I haven't tried to get some kind of signal for texting. Gonna have to make a modded gapps, though. The com.android.phone crashing problem is directly linked to phonesky.apk. Boot up, signal, receive texts, repeated crash and no signal after.

He took the time to build it from source which I did not. 99% of the work is his. Seeing as he isn't responding, I may just post it giving him credit with a link to the original thread.

I've been religiously checking this thread since I first saw it and the last couple of days have been hell because I know it's so so close.That being said, I'm pretty much begging you to post it. In the process of making a thread on the dev section.
Can't send / receive texts and installing gapps will cause com.android.phone to crash repeatedly. So make a backup of your apks before flashing this.

That would be awesome if it did but i believe that you can do it seeing that you got other things working like HC and Sense 3.5.

Man i know you can get it to work You done some pretty amazing stuff on here and if you cant maybe you can get Jaybob to help you or something
with the navigation buttons at the bottom, it might be a little cramped. sure we can change the dpi to like 120 but my phone lags when i try to make everything smaller and fit more on the screen.
Or if the navigation buttons can be removed... who knows. Of course even cramped ICS would be great on our Heroes.
Im almost positive we will get some sort of port of ICS. Ever since froyo the companies have been saying that the hero simply can not handel the new updates because of minimal system requirements. However I red an article with a Q&A about ICS, and one of the questions was what are the minimal system requirements for ICS? The anser was none that i can think of right now. ICS is meant to bring Android tablets and phones toghether in developmental terms. Google is trying to unify android, rather than have phones rounning one type of android and tablets another. It has even been said that ICS will be available for older devices of up to one year old or so. But in closeing im prety optimistic about a port for the Hero, and probably sooner than latter.
Considering that our devs got the source now I'm sure were gona see ICS can't wait

I downloaded the beta version of ICS for hero to see how it looks and feels it"s a little buggy it has some things that need to be worked out like not being able to pair with bluetooth device and bluetooth turning off completely and not being able to turn it back on again... Also when trying to turn on wifi hotspot the phone just hangs there saying turning on wifi screen I let it run for 5 minutes before I rebooted my phone... This rom is in early stages of devoplement and if and when the stuff that isn't working gets fixed I see this as my next rom of choice... Nice work jaybob on a job will done and a million thanks to you...

just spoke with insanemod and look as if @hashcode is helping out with a lot of the bugs.. just a little fyi.. but keep in mind it is a hell of a process..

Yes. i am. i have no prob when I go back to OEM GB ROM. Works fine with Bluetooth just the phone itself no sound coming out of the earpiece and speaker.
what system version are you on 902?? and did you wipe data dalvic/cache and cache?? i know dumb question but just making sure..

I am on 902 and yes I did wipe everything, System,Data,Cache,Dalvik, Factory reset. i did everything. Still, I can make and receive calls but there is no sound through earpiece, speaker and mic.
i know there are a few people with this issue dhacker is one of them so i guess i just comes to finding a fix for it but were not sure what is causing this..

Copying files are not necessary man download phone info included in app included in rom and toggle data between GSM. Auto and cdma/lte

Do you have working 3g before flashing this rom? Do you use bionic with your local chinese provider?
To get data use phone info I don't know anything about Chinese providers you have to toggle data on every boot

I get the feeling I was just trolled. After flashing this from Safestrap my phone booted into an MIUI splash screen and screamed Dubstep at me for a minute and a half. Still hasn't gotten past the splash.
ubuntu touch is open source and just like cm porting, here is the link for instructions to port it..
Is anyone interested in doing it, i thought of doing but my internet speed is just 60kb/s and also, not stable, so repo sync is nearly impossible, if someone tries it, i can assist them in that....... anybody interested?
I don't think its worth messing with currently. Even on nexus 4 its nowhere near daily usable.

The answer you'll get is "NO". We all have to agree here that this is the fault of the Pure4Team. They gave promises, ETAs and other bullcrap to provide us hope for this device, but what they did didn't help them in the least. I am not bashing anyone, but they showed to be the most lousy "team" of developers I've seen in the couple past years since I am on XDA. I have been to many forums, either for me or friends, and not once have I seen someone so childish around here. I don't say that this CM11 they're building doesn't exist, but all they did is start a flame war. It's better to just shut up about something until it's released, than start all this asking about something that isn't yet ready. My two cents, don't ask about it until it's released.

If you closely look at device/[vendor]/[codename]/ && vendor/[vendor]/[codename]/ (which are the MOST IMPORTANT folders when you build a CM) You'll notice they haven't been updated for 2 or 1 Months/Month.
This leaves us three possible ideas.
1) They don't update the source code
2) They don't work on those files (This means every driver is correctly working? Then I don't see why this infamous CM11 is unstable! Everything works!)
3) Don't know, from what I have seen before, I'd say they haven't even got the display working (or else why picture the terminal? Which didn't even need a camera, you could have just used Stamp R Sist, if you even know what that is)
So yeah, I'm happy people woke up and understood. I'm crying tears of joy.

1)Sources on git are old and still with 3.4 kernel, we're working on 3.14
2)We have our private "cloud" where we place our files
3)Adreno is fixed now, if we show a blank screen everyone can say that's not turned on, logs are better in these moments.

3) Don't know, from what I have seen before, I'd say they haven't even got the display working (or else why picture the terminal? Which didn't even need a camera, you could have just used Stamp R Sist, if you even know what that is)

Man, I love you just because you're so damn right. Heck, I'll even take you on a date. Everything you've said so far made perfect sense + your rage combined with some great sarcastic remarks made this one of the most interesting "conversations" here on xda. I only find it sad that you're still bothering with these kids, but I don't mind, keep rocking. Hey, Swap=Ram is enough to keep you going. I love the general section.

It saddens me that our beloved phone is officially dead. I hope some dev out there challenges our desire for a 5.0 update by destroying hardware limitations, battery consumption and the occational bugs. I'll be waiting for the day that Vivid rises from the ashes.
I'm still using mine since 2012, it's a good, reliable phone but admittedly has awful battery life.

Still using mine every day, thought admittedly as a WiFi-only device. Still a great screen and camera though. Just wish I could get a download of this custom ROM though as all the links in the thread have not surprisingly expired:

I'm currently using that ROM by Albinoman, i think you can send him a private message and ask for a link.
I don't have any copies of the rar file because i've been in this ROM for the past 4 years or so and my PC had a lot of anomalies that required a reformat.
I hope you find the link, you're gonna love it.

Already tried that. No response. Oh well.
Well man you might be in luck. I'm porting 5.1.1 as we speak. Just a warning IDGAF about cellular connections, bluetooth or..... a lot of things. I want the camera to work, wifi and all my apps to work. SO. Maybe once I do that I can work on everything else if I want... But I really have a burning desire to at least boot Lollipop on this device. Cheers.
