What is this code of which you speak?
What ROM did you have on your phone before?
Do you have CWM?
Can you boot the phone into Recovery mode or Download mode?

1. switch off phone.
2. press home button+power button till Samsung appears.
3. Navigate using volume up or volume down and select using home button.
4. Select clear data/factory data reset and clear cache.
5. Reboot

launcher error bootloop

Hello!
i have an sgs that every time it powered on it goes on an error bootloop of the launcher, and when i choose force close it goes on and on...
the second problem is that the 3 keys combo for entering download mode doesnt work, i mean it just power the phone...
the third problem is that adb cant find the phone after drivers installed.
what options do i have?
sorry for bad english...
Try doing a factory reset, wipe cache and Dalvik cache...and reformat Internal SD card (first remove any importants stuff like pictures)
i cant acess anything in the phone the error deny it from me
Not even recovery mode? Power down phone. Pull battery. Put back battery. Hold down volume up + home key + power button. If this doesnt work and you cant enter download mode with 3 button combo...looks like youll be making a jig. a 302k resistor jumped across pins 4 and 5 of the micro usb. I made one before for a buddies phone and it saved him.
Hold vol_up button, power button and home button for a few secs, when the samsung logo comes up, let go; in recovery mode go into advanced - fix permissions, then after its done, go into advanced again - Wipe Dalvik Cache.
no recovery mode, the phone is unrooted and without recovery
there is really no solution?

Looping Boot after OTA-Update

Hey Guys,
After downloading the newest OTA-Update for my Note, it rebooted itself and is now stuck in the boot animation. I only hear the Samsung-Jingle once, but after that it keeps playing the animation over and over. I plugged the Note in and let it go all night, thinking it was part of the upgrade, but this morning it was still looping. I am not using a Root or Custom Rom - this is all stock.
I would appreciate any pointers and insight! Thanks.
Try booting to recovery (volume up + home + power) and do factory reset and wip cache.
Thanks for the reply.
I tried the VolumeUp-Home-Power: The phone will start, I can see the little Android with the status bar, but then it just moves on to the regular boot animation and I am right back in the loop.
Takes a Couple of tries, otherwise try download mode, volume button down, home button and power button. Then connect to PC and flash stockrom with odin.
Its tricky getting it right. Turn off phone, turn on and emediately press the button combos.
From recovery you can do a factory reset or clear dalvicc cache. Clearing this cache solved most of my bootloops.

Pull the battery out and put back in after 3-5 secs. Hold VolumeUp + Home + Power till u can see "Galaxy Note N7000" screen. then it ll boot in Recovery mode. here u can do "wipe / Factory Reset" and "Wipe cache". then after Just select Reboot.
This method should work. if you unable to get into recovery mode, then i guess something went wrong with OTA update. So you have to flash the Official ROM using PC Odin. You can find link to update Official ROM in my signature.

As Viper stated in his Comment above, you have to do the Wipes by entering into Recovery Mode(press & hold your Power Button & Home Button simultaneously till you see Samsung Logo). Then enter Download Mode(by pressing Volume Down+HOme Button+Power Button simultaneously). Use Odin to flash your Stock Firmware & then again enter into Recovery mode to do the Wipes. After that reboot your Phone & your done.

so you can't boot into recovery mode?
Follow keylocker steps to boot into download mode and flash a Stock rom via Odin using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034145
Thanks ripper and Key locker. Please breakdown for me (on a step by step basis) how I can successfully flash with ODIN. There seems to be a lot of confusing blogs about this.
thanks again

A useful Q&A THREAD
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313363
Install the drivers and follow the steps:
C. Flashing the newest firmware:
Turn off your phone
Remove your SIM Card and SD Card
Extract previously downloaded firmware
Open ODIN 4.38 on your PC and change OPS file name to
Code:
Code:
Cooper_v1.0.ops
Select from extracted archive: OPS-OPS, Boot-APBOOT, Phone-MODEM, PDA-CODE, CSC-CSC (leave EFS and One Package empty)
If archive contains only <filename>.tar.md5 select it as PDA and OPS as OPS, leave other fields EMPTY
Connect your phone via USB into PC
When the screen is turned on hold POWER+VOLUME DOWN+HOME and wait until the phone enters the Download Mode
If ODIN detected and recognized your phone should light up the first square to the left side
Press "Start" button and wait, the process should take ~5 minutes
If all goes well your phone should reboot automatically
Square should change the color to blue and display "PASS" it means that flashing process was successful and we have the newest firmware
Disconnect your phone
Turn off your phone
Insert your SIM Card and SD Card again
Turn on your phone
Now you have the newest firmware!

After flash a Stock rom via Odin you might get a bootloop, to avoid it boot into stock recovery (Holding HOME BUTTON + POWER BUTTON) and do wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache then reboot
Phone doesnot reboot automatically after flashing with ODIN. However ODIN indicated the blue light and the word passed. Is there any further steps required?
Thanks
tick auto reboot in odin

Did you try booting into recovery mode and doing wipes(data/factory reset and cache partition) after flashing the stock rom??
If it doesn't work put out the battery and then try it again
It does not boot into recovery mode after pressing Home+ Power buttons. Only brings blinking samsung.com words
it's home + volume up + power for recovery
edit : oups it's not for 5830 but for 5830i

Rebooting your system is just like restarting your system. You will not lose your music or any other file just by rebooting. If your music is in your SD Card, unless you format your SD Card, nothing will remove it. Hope I Helped

Executing wipe data/factory reset you'll delete all installed applications, messages and contact numbers, system preferences, profiles, clean the internal memory of your device, but it will NOT delete your external memory (sdcard) so you won't lose your music files, fotos, videos, documents, others.... Don't worry about that

[Q] Does anyone know the key combination of entering recovery mode?

Does anyone know the key combination of entering recovery mode?
Okay ours is a bit weird. With phone off hold power and volume down. When lg logo appears release power and press again. It'll bring up confirmation dialog on a factory reset. Ignore that and hit yes both times. It'll bring up a screen saying authorizing factory reset and then after a moment will boot into your custom recovery. Enjoy
