Did you just flash an update .zip that included the boot.img and the recovery.img?!
Im pretty sure that you should not do that!
Why are the the 2 Ste_boot. imgs being flashed to the same location? or there in the first place?
From the info you posted above it seems like the Partitions are pretty much messed up.
If you cant get into download mode then there is no way you can fix it.

I ended up having a brick from a CWM touch recovery (not yours) I couldn't fix and I ended up flashing stock everything and rerooting.
Sent from Spaceball One.

I can reboot into download mode and i can flash rom stock or other I have lost internal disque ( is shown but with no exacte size I have -100000000 in size for the internal storage if i can flash with an full erras this can fix ?

Do not format your device with any tools if you don't know what they do.
The device has a single flash chip, repartitioned into several Partitions, if you attempt to format you will format the partition table, then the device will require a new motherboard.
Those 3 files are separate partitions instead of one tar, quite common in other devices.
I would try to repackge the original images into separated tars, something like this....
boot.img as boot.tar
modem bin as phone.tar
cache.image as csc.tar
system.img and all remaning .img files, as pda.tar
then flash the all together via odin with repartition.

[Q] CMW not installed after after LA4 root + nulls on Samsung Keyboard

Appreciate any help on the 2 questions below:
Rooted using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1462309. Followed the steps to the letter. As a total noob, I found this easiest to follow.
1. I now have no CMW (only Samsung Recovery when I reflash), I did not have flash CMW as an option in Mobile Odin Pro when I upgraded to LA4, but though it was OK.
2. The samsung keyboard letters come up as "null" when I type. I have tried to reflash the Cache as Dr. Ketan suggested, but have no CSC file. Reflashing all of the md5 does not repair the keyboard.
Many thanks for any input.
Download This
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=867766&d=1327254155
Extract it
Now execute, i m already rooted
connect your device to PC (usb debugging shud be on, unknown source shud ON, close kies/firewall/antivirus if running)
click any key after connecting device
in few second it shud be done
Now you shud have CWM.
flash cache with CWM
Hope everything shud be fine after that.
I have a sample problem. I followed instruction using Mobie Odin Pro to flash LA4. I got null null error. Your instruction said that go to Cache and select CSC and reflash. LA4 file was only single file. I am not sure what to pick.
Also, I followed an instruction here.
As soon as I hit Enter, I had a message saying that "The system can not find specified path."
You said that Put zImage file into zImage FOLDER. Do I have to create this folder? Then where?
Sorry for silly questions.
Thank you.
If you getting null keyboard error, flash la4 with mobile odin. Restore only system and cache. First open mobile odin, select la4 file, select ok, select modem and select clear. Now flash the firmware.

I tried as you suggested. Basically, only clearing Modem. I am still getting null error for the keyboard. I must be doing something wrong.
Dont clear hidden. Clear 'only' modem. It worked for me.
Extract single file one level deep, get cache.img n put to SD card
select 'cache' from mobile odin, point to above said file n Flash

Get it by extracting ROM file(1 level deep).
Alternatively use multi CSC file to flash, attached here.

I had downloaded a rom with removed bootloader from annson08 thread, by opening the .tar archive i noticed that he did just removed the arm11boot file from the package nothing else.
so maybe removing this file from your ROM and flashing it like usual will do the trick

i know that he just removed arm11boot but when i did that with many method i didn't succed to add it to "odin multi downloader" it crashs every time when i add the new file without bootloader i think that is not just unpack, remove and repack there is something special to make odin fish a fish not a shark

yeah i used cygwin too but i failed to make the output file work on odin!!!
i used this method from yagya:
Code:
cd firmware_directory
// Goes inside firmware directory
tar -cf firmware_name.tar amss mibib oemsbl qcsbl boot.img recovery.img system.rfs csc.rfs
// This will create a tar_file named firmware_name.tar containing all the files mentioned afterwards. You'll need to check if all files except arm11boot are included or not and add (or remove) to or from above list.
md5sum firmware_name.tar >> firmware_name.tar
// Checks md5sum of the tar file.
mv firmware_name.tar >> firmware_name.tar.md5
// Renames the firmware file. The outcome of this is your flashable zip file.
[optional] gzip firmware_name.tar.md5
//zips the firmware_name.tar.md5 file as gz format. It is easier while sharing the file since it reduces the file size by almost 50 %.
you did everything correct but the problem of Odin crashing is its a md5 file then you remove the arm11boot md5 of file changes which makes the Odin crash
steps to correct it:-
1. extract everything from package
2. delete arm11boot
3. then download a software which can create a tar package
4. with that software create an empty tar package
5. put all the files in that tar package
then then you are ready to flash

That's kind of you, but honestly, he can do it himself pretty easy.
@lamero1:
Just download an existing custom rom (in cwm zip format) such as my business edition and download the stock rom you want, then open the stock rom (.tar.md5 file) extract system.img.ext4 and boot.img (you can extract system.img.ext4 with Diskinternals Linux reader). now delete all contents inside the /system folder of the business edition zip and place the contents of system.img.ext4 inside the zip. also put the boot.img from the stock kernel inside the zip. Now when you install the zip you will have a clean system, without root)
if your phone recognizes my quick flasher you can also flash the system.img.ext4 partition directly to your phone (takes ages tho)
But honestly I think your usb slot isn't broken but it's just some issue with your computer, have you tried it on a computer of a friend or so?
Also it could be that the file "usb_sel.bin" which is located in /persist, has the incorrect value of 1 or 2 when opening as text file, it needs to be 0. if it's not your usb won't work and only charges.

Worked! Thanks
Very useful for other people with USB problems, having phone in warranty
The only problem is that in info i have Kernel version: [email protected] #1. How can I fix it?
at least in germany there is a difference between guarantee and warranty. if you flash a custom rom or root your phone you lose guarantee which is voluntarily given by samsung. means samsung doesn't have to give support on problems which are caused by flashing of the rom. though if you have problems you didn't cause with a product - here with your hardware - samsung has to repair it because this is a warranty issue. this is something the german law says.

I have used winRAR to break the rom into parts. Yes u will see that there are two system.IMG but in reality there is only one system.IMG file. You donot have to extract all parts. Just extract part1 zip and it will automatically extract other parts. Note : you should have all the parts in one folder in order to extract rom otherwise it will show error
it doesn't work with me ... when i press download it doesn't download anything ... what to do?
