Android 2.2 Indian version

guys I upgraded my Galaxy S phone to Android 2.2 using Odin
But now I want to use the official Indian version
wht should I do??
should I revert back to 2.1??
if yes then how or wht should I do
as the one I installed from Odin is giving me problems with APN
whn I manually save my apn settings they won't appear on the apn page
so now I want to go for the Indian version of Froyo
plz tell me wht should I do?

You saved this original Indian version firmware ???
If not do a search for it on Google .

I forgot to note the 2.1 firmware number my galaxy S was running on
can anyone tell me which firmware should I download for my indian version from the list of firmware for the asian countries from this site samfirmware site

I fixed my problem
I downloaded the 2.1 firmware [Asian firmware for my country] from sammfirmware site & downgraded my phone from 2.2 to 2.1 then I got my APN working & my CSC was restored to its original value
Then I updated my phone to 2.2 using Kies & Now I have the official 2.2 android firmware without any problems
So my problem is fixed

This morning I got an OTA notification and wow..the device is completely changed after this update home screens,menu, animations everything's wow about this device now.looks so sexy..anyone got this update in india??? after this when i connect to kies it says
You device does not support software upgrade through kies and it updated to DDLR9\DDLR3\DDLR1\DDLR9..

take a screenshot of the "about" section in settings and upload it for us please

updated it through OTA but now it says it wont upgrade through kies. why??
anyone else having the same problem

This is latest update and still not released on Kies, once it appears on Kies msg will b change to 'your device have latest firmware. '

If you want to do it through ODIN looks like there is a wait for the files. What you could do is go to ATT hotspot or wifi network and update it , that way. Unless I am missing something.

Thanks Jay for ur response, When i check for updates from the software update page, all i get is same check back after 24hrs.most upgrades i have done is via odin, so its an odin link i would def nid.

Search for your model number and find the firmware version, download it and flash using Odin. It will completely reset your device though.

Dear friend i have the same problem but with the beta update ui.3.0 ... the problem here is the security pacht from samsung call ¨binary¨... this update that you perform in your s10 it´s imposible to do downgrade because you update to binary 9 and the rom with one ui.2.1 or 2.0 have the security pach with binary 8 ... in my case the only solution to back stock rom was find a rom with binary 9 of my country. You can see which version of binary contains in the name of the rom for example actually i have install in my device this rom G973FXXS9DTK9 the number before the letters says what binary contais the rom if you look in your device in system info , about the phone , version of software says what binary you have ...

Changing my Galaxy S10 Firmware CSC while updating

Hello Everyone,
I'm new here. What brought me to this forum was the issue of not getting OTA updates due to using a model imported from another region. My device's CSC is SPR (sprint) but my local carrier works on it just fine. My problem is better elaborated here in this other post :

After reading the above thread I decided not to change my firmware to the model firmware for my region as its SoC is Exynos and my phone is Snapdragon. However, I still want to use Odin to upgrade the firmware to Android 11 as I'm still stuck on Android 9 (may 2019 update) and I can no longer bear it.
In the post in the above link, a reply recommended using the USA (USC) CSC, so here's my question,
Would updating with SPR (my current CSC) make my phone unable to work with my local carrier on update completion? or should I just update using USC?
PS: The SPR CSC came with no bloatware, I don't know what the USC CSC will come with.
