Anyone looking to buy a gameklip?! - Galaxy Note II Accessories

I recently got a universal gameklip about a month ago. You guys can research them if you don't know what it is: http://buy.thegameklip.com/pages/home and video http://youtu.be/KwjBWDhm9xU
I got it ($22) a ps3 controller ($40) and a charging cord ($12). I thought I would use it, but I hardly ever do.
I am looking to sell it.
Selling:
Note 2 gameklip attached to case.
Ps3 controller. "Grinding" on controller where failing at putting it in gameklip.
Charger cord.
It's a very nice setup! Post your price and I will consider, but I would like to get at least $60. Thats $14 off if you got the same things I got.
Note 2. Note 2. Note 2. I have a Note 2. Note 2. Note 2. Note 2. Did I mention I have a Note 2. This is being typed and submitted on a Note 2. Note 2. Note 2.

MHL cables/adapters

ive read somewhere that the original Note 1 MHL cables are incompatible with the galaxy S3. so i guess its the same case for the Note 2 . so i got a few questions about this:
- any recommendations from Note 2 owners ? good tested and reasonably priced cables or adapters ?
- and what r the disadvantages for using those 11 to 5 pin adapters ?? is it true that with the 11 pin cables u wont be needing a power source (as the galaxy s3 would power up the adapter it self) ????
Update: found some positive xda reviews on this http://www.ebay.ca/itm/New-MHL-Mirc...Accessories&hash=item25750548f4#ht_5438wt_952 , still a bit expensive.
thx
i've ordered the one from dealextreme wich says it's compatible with the galaxy SIII as i read that it should work with the NOTE II, so i just have to wait and see. but for 20 bucks it would be nice if it works, if not, to bad, onto ebay for a profit. will let it know if it works when i'll be able to test it. also a couple of USB-OTG cables from dx.com for a buck each.
I've been thinking about this as well, so if anybody has any info on which adaptors work, Thanks in advance of posting up info.
Added one to my Master Accessories thread.
is this good to use ? anyone tried it before on a S3 or Note 2 ?

looking at the numbers , already 23 sold,,but cant see any feedback on it...
Bump,
Anybody get one yet, that works?
Links please, thank you!!
what about these from monoprice. They have great reviews

It's best to get an older one and an adaptor for the s3 and the note 2 type of fit. .. like the white one on monoprice.. same price and you get the option to use on 5 pin and 11 pin phones. .skiva mhl cable is awesome on amazon. No need for extra cables. .I got mine for about 7 bucks 2 weeks ago and then bought the monoprice adapter. Now I can use it on my note 2 and the wife's Galaxy nexus..

Note 2 vs Note 1 S-Pen differences.. And Replacements

I managed to loose my S-Pen out of my VZW Note 2 the same day that I got my phone.. Looking for replacements, I noticed that the Note 1 S-Pens can be had for cheaper..
I am not so cheap as to not buy the correct pen if there was a difference, but they look pretty much exactly the same.. And I would like to buy a few if they are the same.
So anyone have both versions of the Note that can fill us in on the differences? Will the Note 1 S-Pen fit into the Note 2? Any other differences?
From a previous posting about Spen pen kits, I believe both function the same but Note 1 and Note 2 pens are different size.
You may still be able to pick up a Note2 pen here for cheap:

if the coupon codes still work. I ordered the pen/eraser combo over the weekend and the coupon code was still valid for 50% off.

Gear VR with Huawei P9?

Hi all,
I bought my Dad a Samsung Gear VR for Christmas, as I was told by the seller it worked with all android phones.
However, I've been looking into it since and it would appear this isn't the case. He's really excited by it, and I don't want it to have been a waste of money and for him to have been disappointed.
I've ordered a USB C to Micro USB adaptor so he can connect his phone to it, but I'm concerned it won't enable him to use it properly still.
I was wondering if there was any way to make sure he still gets some actual use out of this, instead of having to sell it and buy him something else!
Thanks!

Hi,
The Gear VR that is available now is only available for some Samsung devices like the S6, S7, Note 7 and I think Note 4/5

Damn, so there's no way to make it work in any way with a different phone?
If you are able to fit the phone there, you'll be able to use the Gear VR like if it was a Google Cardboard.
But obviously you won't be able to access the Oculus store and such.
Any recommendations for huwaei p9's ?

Has anyone read if the note 9 dex output can use a cheap usb c to hdmi dongle?

.. or if we need the samsung $50 version?
You can find them on amazon for $13 delivered, and that would be a great savings!
You should be able to use whatever cable. If course Samsung still tell you theirs is better...
That's what I hoped, but we needed to have someone actually try it, in case Samsung had some cool inside the single that's detected by the phone.
I was able to use them with the Note 8, just no Dex
I have been looking at getting one or two of these as they work with the Switch too!

If you are getting a note 9, can you try your cable when you get it and post here if it works? We don't really need it on launch day, but we would like one at some point, since my wife and myself will have the note 9s

Which VR?

Hi all,
Just got a Note 9 and was thinking about VR. Googling failed to reveal much about the current state of the market so I'm not sure which kit to buy. Seems like most of them have their own closed ecosystem? Anyone got a good link comparing the options? Thanks.
You would have to get the latest model SM-R324, which comes with the bundle Gear VR Controller. But you will have to contact Samsung for a special adapter in order to use your Note 9 in the Gear VR as the Note 9 is slightly thicker than the Note 8. Samsung will provide the adapter to you free of charge, once they have asked you a few questions.

It's an N960F, didn't come with a controller. I was wondering if the Gear VR would be the best option here since it's kind of pricey and requires an adapter and all. Anyway I'm giving the DESTEK V4 VR a try, it states compatibility with the Note9, comes with a Dream controller and I can just send it back to Amazon if it doesn't work well enough.

That will probably work with Google Cardboard apps. But if you want the full Samsung Oculus Gear VR experience, you will need to get the Gear VR. I got mine with my work bonus last year. I only use it for 360 videos. I find VR gaming to be quite nauseating. But it is gaming on the GearVR is pretty fun.
