That is what I am actually trying to do, but the same Error occurs over and over again. I followed several instruction in this forum, as well as flashing stock roms from samfirmware.
I do not know what or if there is a difrrence between a stock and a recovery ROM. All i found so far were stock ROMS. If there is a specific ROM i need, could you point me towards it?
I appreciate your help!

that pretty much fixed it for now
thanks very much. would

Is it possible that such an issue is the result of a water damage?

I fixed mine like this :
From recovery
- wipde data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- format internal sd then just reboot and it will bot to your stock rom.

Does anyone know if it's normal for this partition to be so full?? Or is it a result of something gone wrong in the process of flashing?
Edit: I'm also on stock with root and CWM at the moment.
Thanks in dvance!

yup.Its the /system patition where you place your system apps, frameworks, libs, ringtone, sounds, boot animations etc...so its normal to be full.Only your internal sd should not be full

Exactly what I was looking for!
Thanks
stock roms will always take up more space than custom roms, you have a normal amount of space left
Yup thats true.that is basically because of the odex file every system app anfd frame work has which are deodexed in almost all custom roms which would save some memory

Need some help with CM9

All right, so I'm currently running on the latest WEUI 0.9.6 (ics 4.0.4), and a semaphore 1.0.0 kernel. I would like to revert back to CM9, but I don't know the safest method of doing so. I'm mostly concerned about the kernels, not really familiar with them. Would some body please give me instructions? Thanks in advance
Hi ! I have done just that with the earlier version of this ICS MIUI rom.
You can safely flash CM9 from your SD Card but wipe data , wipe partition and go to advance and wipe dalvice . But do this on 100% battery. Believe me , its much better ! hope this helped you. Sammy

Sorry fella i have no real clue this is my first post and i am a total noob... Still laughing from the video before registering. But heres my totally uninformed first thought, could it be that it needs to have writable sd partition, hopefully someone substantially more informed will help you out soon. I just thought id post because i noticed no one else had and youd only had one view. Lol Ive a bit of an issue myself but im a little afraid to post after the vid, even though iv'e been scouring internet for days with no answers! Lol good luck bud hope it all works out
Have you rooted your phone before flashing? Also, have you tried to do the wipes on the recovery?
Not sure if any of those will fix it for you, but eh, it's better than nothing
Is the romantic on the phone partition or on a external sd card, and have you set the install location to the correct partition

i guess you have not rooted your phone..
and if you did..you are trying to flash a rom through stock recovery?
please search before you know what to do..
we only flash it via cwm recovery, mobile odin or pc odin..
am i correct?
What are you trying to flash, rom type, backup? Need more info.

GT-I9000 stuck on boot screen, need help.

As title states, a friend of mine asked me to try and fix his S1, first of all I boot to download mode (both 3 key & JIG work), and flash a few ROMS in ODIN, but the same thing, it stuck in boot screen, I tried bit 3 files & PIT, with repartition and without, nothing. Also I can't boot into recovery mode, I then open the device to check for any corrosion, but it's clean as a baby ass, then I disconnect the internal battery and connect back, but still no news, also it do charge the battery but not show it on the screen :
CHARGE:

Any help is more then wellcome :good:
PS, if you think the internal FLASH is bad, maybe there a way to use external SD card? and I mean an SD card you insert in the back of the davice.
What kind of ROM did you flash? GB, ICS or JB?
Sent from my Gameboy Color
I used the rescue kits ezodin so I guess it's GB, but also tried other roms, all roms was GB. What can you recommend, also is it possible that the problem with internal flash memory aka emmc?
You can try flashing a éclairs or froyo rom, but I am not sure of that will make a difference. Have you tried a stock rom?

easiest way.. save your data, and do factory reset
@soan0 Your version is 64gb? Xiaomi mi A2 its: 32gb, 64gb or 128gb..
If its really 64gb do a factory reset.
Backup your files then format data from twrp (format not wipe)
thank you all i solved the problem my flashing the stock rom v10 in fastboot mode
