Run rootable ICS firmware, then install CWM for locked bootloader. Flash pre-rooted JB update via CWM then flash kernel only for JB.

[Q] Any idea how to get root access on 9.1.A.0.490 (LT25i Singapore)?

Hey Guys,
I've been trying to try to get a root on my LT25i on JellyBean.
Till date, I am unable to get root.
I'm looking at using my Carrier's stock firmware.
Build: 9.1.A.0.490
Carrier: M1, Singapore
Read the all in one thread.

Yes it is, just flash an ICS ftf

EDIT,
Sorry my mistake, now I am at my PC I can see you have a V.
In which case rooting is easy..just unlock you rbootloader and flash an insecure kernel.

There does not appear to be a method for locked bootloader.

Xperia flash stock well it remove root and cwm

Guys, I am just double checking with you to be sure.
As if now I have a stock .307 rooted with xdualrecovery cwm and touch.. I would like to know if all of this will be removed if I flash stock os via flashtool? (ie. If I want to return the unit for warranty purposes).

You meant locked bootloader right? You can flash Sony Stock ROMs only using flashtool or root and install recovery and flash them. No custom non-sony ROMs though.
