If you delete Sense the ROm are going to go fastest and you will win a better battery duration I think xP

hi russel) does your rom support OC einstein.frat's kernels??? and are there any falls of performance in games???? because there were script called turbo script and UI was very fast, but games and benchmarks got worse result)
I player heavy games such as dead trigger, with the updated, and tweaked graphics the system loaded and ran the game smooother, it also loaded faster.
@uchihasparky you could try it, i'm learning bit by bit, trying to fit it all in with college and to be honest it is very hard to do. Once I now more then i'll try theming.

I would like to ask you for some help with some stuff Einstein but only if you want too. Could you check that I have removed all the information of which you don't like I don't want to upset you. That video was a test rom, I plan on changing all the apks to stock a making some stuff of my own, and also change the base eventually, I just thought your base was best to use for my initial tweaks.

This development thread is for the official RCMix blue, energized custom firmware series for the HTC Incredible S !
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)

Stability through private beta testing before public release
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.

I shall never download this rom after that post for sense rom. And in third post author said that it's for Inspire not DHD. Maybe it will be better to move this topic to inspire thread

What? Desire HD is mentioned numerous times, and Inspire 4g shares rom compatibility, so please do your homework before leaving comments.

The Rom is featured below, make sure you read the following notes located on the next post before you consider this rom, if you are confident about android then give it a shot and post back your results.
As mentioned in the above post make sure you are confident with both ADB and installing apps separate to the rom, if you cannot do this, do not install this Rom you will have problems, and lack of apps!
The recommended steps of installing this Rom are:
First download the Zip file from this thread
Second copy the Zip file to your Phones SD Card.
Now enter recovery, you should know how to do this, if you don't don't install this Rom.
Install the Zip file from recovery
Now reboot into bootloader mode, with your phone connected Via USB
Find the boot.img you want to install, located inside the Zip file the one in the Root of the Zip is 806mhz the others are located in the kernels folder in the Zip
Flash the new kernel, then reboot into your new system

This Rom is similar to the De-sense version, but has much, much more stuff removed making the system very basic.

No need to worry about free memory in android, the system will allocate what memory is needed for the requested task, if the user don't require memory for any particular app the os will load certain apps to memory to save load times and cpu cycles for when those apps are called for.
Too much free memory in android is just wasted memory, its how the os works.
By the way great job Russell, one thing I'm curious about, does anyone know how to make the quick settings buttons light blue instead of green?

i have done this with my blue haze rom and did it by modding the aluminium skin to create my theme

Hey russel I wanted to ask you something. I have been using all these apps for a while now which I took directly from the CM9 build , So did you do any specific modifications to these apps? Only apps which I couldnt use be directly used from CM9 are Camera and phone and some other apps since they need associated library files too.

There isn't much changes Nikhil, there are a few edits in values.XML I guess and maybe others to stop force closes as such. So not much has changed, but I thought I would share.

Why I asked was to check if there is any way to get aosp phone,camera etc too working in sense .But I guess its going to be very difficult to port this

I have a cm camera working, I can't fix one bug though however, it is only graphical when the pictures are taken in portrait the screen turns green for a second, but in landscape it doesnt . I can't find the source of the bug at all, but hey I got it to work on our sense ROM

Phone is integrated into the frameworks of our ROM, I'm trying to port that but it is being stubborn haha
Nikhil I didn't use that camera, because to link is dead, I extracted parts of the camera from a cm based ROM.

Noticed a bug last night when trying to take screenies of these antutututututu tests rus . Screenshot isn't working for me .
Any one else had issues with it ?

Those with data issue or are not sure about it...
If it is your first time installing this Rom, and are not sure about your data working install the APN patched version just below here:
Fixed Data
HTC setup is re introduced on this version, remember there are two versions now, one with the APN fix which requires a patch after setup, and another without the fix, which works fine for alot of people too
This fix would not be here without the help of my friend neoyoli, who tested the new fix, and confirmed it working.
Now before you guys ask, the Patch to revert the Rom back to AOSP will be uploaded soon, but do not apply the patch UNITL you are FULLY setup with DATA working, to ensure no further problems. I am highlighting the main words in Capitals, because if you don't do this data will have issues.

How to install?
Well first of all are you sure you have a HTC Desire C? If you are certain you do, then proceed with the steps below...
First Download the Rom from the link provided above...
Once that is done, copy the zip file to your phones SD Card
Now this step isn't a must, but if you want your WIFI to work, you need to flash a boot.img, you can see how to do this below:
There are two ways you can do this, if you want to do it in very simple steps, use the boot.img flashing tool located here: Link
However if you wish to know the commands required to flash the boot.img, follow these simple steps just below here:

Once you have flashed your boot.img, reboot into your recovery and flash the Rom, by using the "flash zip" option
Enjoy your new ReVoluTioNMoD Rom
Bugs:
No caller ID, this is due to the AOSP dialer, once the call screen is ported it will fix this issue. Squashed Now, suck it!
ReVolution Statistics
I bet your wondering, why a revolution stats app? Well there is a valid reason, it is based on CM sources and sends exactly the same data CM does, so what does it send?
Device hash: which is an MD5 hash of the IMEI (or wifi MAC, if imei is unavailable for some reason)
Device name: the property "ro.product.model" of build.prop
Device version: the property "ro.build.display.id" of build.prop
Country: from the Android API, getNetworkCountryIso
Carrier: from the Android API, getNetworkOperatorName
Carier ID: from the Android API, getNetworkOperator
ROM Name: from the newly added property "ro.romstats.name"
ROM version: from the newly added property "ro.romstats.version"
in addition to this data, the database has an extra 2 columns:
First registration date: the first time the device registered on the server
Last check-in date: the last time the device (with same device hash) checked in, to remove inactive devices after X days
Lets thank mcbyte_it, for both the base web code and for the base app code too.
The ap has been changed to suit the revolution rom series, as you can see there is no personal information being sent at all. You have a choice to opt-in or out it would be nice to have as many users as possible opting in, as the information will make the revolution rom series a whole lot better.

Thanks for the update SaM, I will test it out mate, i have deleted the phone or HTCphonegolfu.apk and the phone icon and contacts icon is still both there. I don't quite understand the caller ID, i have never seen it, or I just don't notice it could you explain what it is lol?

Okay let me go into a lil details here ....ics dialer thread instruction says delete ..htc contacts.apk and htc dialer.apk or whatever their proper name is .. del both of them and just paste or push contacts.apk ..and do not paste or push phone.apk ..and never del htc phone.apk coz thts the caller id screen ...i hope this explains what im trying to say ... I can post screen shot if u want ....i hope it helps

ahh buddy i got you now !! caller id or dialer screen !! see when u call somone it comes up or somecalls u up !!! and if u use tht phone.apk it will get shreaded all over and icons becomes bigger and its not properly resized !!! thats it !!! and using htc phone.apk make is stock dialer screen or caller id screen

I have Vodafone NL and I noticed that the default APN settings are not updated, so I was changing the settings and when I saved the updated settings my phone turned off and got a bootloop! So I reinstalled this rom and now my phone works again but the APN settings are still not correct. Does enyone know how I can sovle this problem? I never had this problem before on Nameless rom!

I doubt it was editing the APN that caused the bootloop, that is more likely the kernel you are using. I would try adding the APN again. I have always had to manually enter my APN (TiBa auto-restore ) on both Rev and Nameless, but I assume that is because I am in Canada and these are EUR based roms.
If your on one of the High OC kernels (806 or 767) try flashing down to 722 or 600 to solve reboot issues, and let us know if the same issue arises after attempting to add your APN again.

I have tried it 2 times and 2 times my phone keeps rebooting forever. I have already installed the 722 kernel. Can it help if I install a kernel fron nameless rom?

Should be the same kernels but try flashing whichever kernel you last successfully used with nameless just to be sure.

-Edit lockscreen ring
-Edit signal icons, fot the wifi and singal, more darkgray please xP
-Edit numbers from the battery icon, more darker the background I think

PD: Calculator, Settings and SystemUI are great!
But the keyboard, and the dialer, i don´t like it, i know you will change that, but Stock are better than that xP
