If you can get a windows box and install the Samsung Kies software (appearing in the dictionary next to the word "bloat") you can force it to reinstall the stock firmware (at least it worked for me to recover from a rooted camera I couldn't seem to unroot).

best way is to use mobile odin to flash stock firmwares and keep the ever root option when flashing
So does that mean i shouldn't use the Samsung updates our is that just you're preferred method?

I know a way but i dont remember how can i do this: you will download an 2.2.1(try to download multicsc) froyo and root this. Take csc files from if someone using this rooted stock rom . After you will change sales code from *#272*imei* select your csc and setup. After update to 2.3.x from kies.(if kies not find update wipe cache and factory reset.
I tried to tell it with my english. In old i have same problem with my country's stock rom and i do it. Maybe it cant be true because exacetly because it was 1.5 years ago.if you cant found rom you can try this.

Firmware

Can someone post the link to where I would get the firmware and radios that I can flash using fastboot? I found it in the past but I can't find it today. Yes I've used Google. I want to try the newest radio. Some have had good luck and some bad. I want to see how it works out for me. Thanks.

I wouldn't use the method posted above unless you verify it is or 4.4.2 which I don't believe it is. There currently is not a root option if you are using kit Kat. Lots of people are waiting for root. When it happens you will surely see a method posted. The methid in the link above is more than likely root for a jelly bean version and may screw up your phone.

He is correct the method above will not work. I believe actually it only worked on mi9. If you do this at best it will simply fail at worst you will brick... In all likely hood you would wind up at a best buy getting reflashed.
