Seems like we were spamming the MIUI thread about bugs etc so let's just post here to prevent OT
I notices that the kernel is from ARM+ (from soulex/nicolas) weird kernel...

Pulled the Camera from BlackMi, and it seems to work fine now in X-UI, doesn't have anymore FC's.
Gallery doesn't have the same luck so far though.

good news If only you could modify the rom for us it would be great. But we have to ask to the dev first..
Also noticed that the 203 dpi makes some graphical artifacts..
And the date is in chinese..

Lol, I would ask him, but I don't speak a word of Chinese, so I wouldn't know where to begin, and I don't know if google translate is a good start.
I can easily modify the ROM and bake it all in, as far as 203 dpi goes, what artifacts are you referring to? with the Chinese date, you mean the notification drawer?

is video recording working fine with the blackmi cam?

Works fine, though 720p & 480p frame rates are on the slow side.

Not really artifacts, just that sometimes texts are too small..
And yes the chinese texts are dates.
Tries to patch Play Store with lucky patcher for 240dpi apps but it's jot working for some reason..

It seems like this ROM was built for 4.3" screens with 960x540 resolutions, so you can imagine why they don't work too well on 4" and 800x480 resolutions.
In fact, from what I see, the ROM works at it's prime when the dpi is even lower, maybe 190->200. I'm fine with small sized texts though lol
I see English dates on mine, with a bit of Chinese text down bottom on the notification bar (which I have no idea what it says). I'm gonna see if I can edit that out in the coming days when I have my free time.
As far as 240dpi patching of the play store, that's my forte
http://d-h.st/3Wd
Here, Play Store & GSF fixed to 240dpi regardless of system DPI.

Good.
I've tried one and work like charm (I tried 130 and 135 as well)
problem is ROM manager scale incorrectly even with 'compatibility mode' turned off
I already tried to search the forum but have no luck
is there a way how to overcome this?
thx

Yes, I did it several times but the problem still persist
edit:
I think this behaviour are not consistent. sometimes when I reboot it, it's back to normal, but when I reboot it again, It went wrong again
weird
EDIT:
I can confirm now that after killing 'whole' task using task manager (or similar app), the problem is (always) gone. still don't know the culprit though.
Excellent work here my friend. Cheers.
Great app... I'm running at 130.
May I know what is the default density of our Legend? Tried to Google before I flashed this but couldn't find any info...
Edit: I tried LCDDensity for root from market and it told me the default is 160. Change to 140 and it looks great
Maybe I'm totally noob, but what's the point of setting a LOWER LCD density if the default is 160?
Correct me if I'm wrong but the higher the density, more things can be added to the screen and it "seems" bigger.
I'll try also to see the difference
Later Edit: OK, I've checked now. Tried with 130 and a lot more info seems to fit on screen. I have some questions/issues though.
1. What 110, 120...130...160 means? For sure not DPI as was my initial understanding. Usually, the higher the DPI setting, more screen space is available. And in this case I got better screen with a lower number. Could be the value of the setting then? And lowering it it'll give you in fact a higher DPI setting? Don't miss understood me, I just want to understand some of the things not playing with them like a robot.
2. Some widgets are scaled incorrectly (Sense Analog Small Black is one of them for ex). Any way to overcome this or is by widget design and I should find a better one?
Found a fix for 2...set the columns in ADW at 5 instead of 4. Now the widget is drawn correctly and have an extra space remaining

When your adding a widget you'll have the option to set the size, set the width to 5 and you're widgets you want full width can be. I had to do this with my clock/weather widget.
I set it to 140 and it looks awesome! To bad that it shrinks the keyboard too..
it doesn't work for me on BlaYo rom ... does absolutely nothing ... any ideas?

It's not any big issues but if you try the 4d drawer, you'll see that the text is being overlaped by the icons under it. Also, the pages skip insanely fast in certain drawer.
1.3.1 was the previous version. and it had no issues
I am using 4D vertical drawer, 3 rows landscape, 4 rows portrait. The text is positioned properly relative to the icons, and pages do not skip.

That's your personnal setup. Although, I like it with 5/5 where it does mess up.
I was mostly saying for other people who might use the same setup as mine.
Page doesn't skip with the 4d drawer but it does with a couple others. The transition is actually just a bit too fast/sensitive.
Anyway, it obviously doesn't affect you. Like I mentionned, I posted for other people who might not use your personnal setup.

Is thier still an issue with the screen resolution/dpi?

Any ideas? Looking around dont see much on it.
What do you mean, an issue with it ? Your question is pretty vague and we can't do too much to help you without more details.
Stock CM9 install sets your DPI at 160. You can change this at any time by modifying your build.prop and changing the setting for lcd.density to something else - 120 is another common one to use. It's all a matter of personal taste. I have come to like the 160 - it isn't TOO big, but it's big enough, and things work quite well.

Changing the LCD Density requires a reboot. Please share the app that does this, as I have yet to find one.
One solution is to keep the LCD at 160, but using GO Launcher HD. You can set the icons to be smaller, and it overall looks much nicer then 120, which I find is wayyy to small.
There's a patch that you can flash available in the Alpha2 thread on Rootzwiki. As for an app, I haven't found one that just changes your lcd.density of your build.prop, but it is doable relatively easily.
I use an App from Google Play called 'DPI Changer'.
I know there are some ICS (Phone) Roms that have PAD (Per App Density) feature and you can configure how you want it, but it's something built in to the Rom. Changing the dpi now does require a reboot.

I liked native 132 quite a lot but anything else than 160 or 120 breaks Market unfortunately.
And I'm too lazy to patch it so I'm on 160.

Another option for those who stay at 160 dpi is the change the font size to small in the display settings. It makes the display much better. I prefer to run at 120 with the font set to huge which is another option that works pretty well.

Annoyingly I can't find the person(s) who actually provided these mods. I'll try to keep the OP updated with any newer JB (4.2) apps I find.
I've installed them on my HD2 and they both work. The keyboard appears to be flawless. The camera has graphical glitches very much like we HD2 users had with Jelly Bean ROMs until very recently, but not as bad because they clear up enough to reasonably use the app. PhotoSphere does NOT work, though, because it says that our device isn't supported. That'll probably be fixed by a dev soon enough, but, for now, it won't even let you access the mode.

Yep, I thought as much from what others have said on another thread. Either way, you can see this video to see how awesome Photo Sphere is. Check the G+ link in that article as well, the resolution isn't half bad and the photo stitching is pretty much perfect, as we've come to expect from Google (Street View).
I got PhotoSphere mode to work by changing the ID to Galaxy Nexus in build.prop, but it's unusable. It sort of works, but it's excruciatingly slow and the accelerometer only barely works. It takes something like 30 seconds to take the first photo, then 30 seconds for it to allow you to take another, then another 30 seconds... at which point I ended up stopping the operation, but the resulting image wasn't even stitched together properly. It probably needs to be modified to work with the HD2's hardware. I'm no Android dev, so that'll have to be for someone else to figure out, though we might need the source for that.

It doesn't overwrite the original clock apk so you can have it too since it has a nice timer and stopwatch. Alarm doesn't work for me(Clock has stopped, or something similar).

[MOD][S6][DPI][CAMERA] Fix for Samsung Camera app on other device DPI

Hi,
I have created a mod for the camera app on the Galaxy S6 Edge such that it works properly under device dpi of 540 or 480. I would really appreciate it if someone owning a Galaxy S6 would be willing and able to test my mod for the camera app on a Galaxy S6 (I only own the Edge).
If you decide to help out, even though I can't imagine anything going wrong if you know what you're doing, please know that you're doing it at your own risk and make sure you have a nandroid backup just in case.
You can find my mod at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/themes-apps/mod-samsung-camera-app-dpi-t3131567
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Bane.
Hi... I have an S6 (G-920I) working at 520 dpi, your 540 dpi mod (the amk19 one) worked on my phone. It's still have a black area in the side and bottom (because of the different dpi) but is enough for me to be happy with the camera now. Thanks!!!
I tried before to mod the app for my resolution but the video does not work in my mod.

Somehow the supplied files didn't work on my GalaxyS6, I recreated it myself using apktool and the framewrok-res,.apk and Samsungcamera4.apk from the XtreStoLite rom (1.4b) for 480dpi and that DOES seem to work. File is attached... Might do some other ones as well later on (also for the 1.5 version of that rom).
All credits to op for the dimens.xml file which I used!

Awesome! Also did the keyboard, jsut in case (see attachment). Can't get dialer/contacts to work though (apk corrupted after compiling, must look into that more).
Great job, you should compile a collection of these multi-dpi mods.
Best of luck with the dialer, I miss being able to change my dpi.
can u change this Camera 480 dpi camera s6 to 420 dpi?
