Teeter for our O4X - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hey guys, my previous phone was a HTC and there was this gr8 game teeter. Gr8 for wasting time...
My Question:
Is it possible to get Teeter on our O4X?
I tried it, by copying the teeter.apk from the sense firmware that was provided here somewhere, but the textures were weird... (although the game worked gr8...)
PLzzzz help me!
TnX in advance

U know what guys? I'll simply email HTC and ask them, to put Teeter on Google Play Store... Maybe they'll cooperate....

You won't get it to work, because HTC's Teeter needs the Sense framework. So either wait for a Sense port or use a non-HTC teeter in the meantime.

Sure, because HTC sells so many non-Sense devices...
Oh, and while you wait for HTC to make a Teeter version that will run on phones which aren't from them, try this. Took me about 5 seconds to enter "teeter" into the search field.

R u arguing with me? Well, if u insist, It's ON.
Btw, nice, the link.... but isn't that illegal??? I mean, its the Software of HTC... Copyright of HTC... property of HTC...
The link also shows, that it's possible to run Teeter on ANY smartphone with android... So, all HTC gotta do, is find this link and decide, wether they use it for themselves or maybe sue XDA because of the rights....
Or they just do HTC teeter for all android smartphones on their own...
It's their decision...
Maybe HTC will be more competent than u r and make it, as I suggested...
So, please Shut Up and let's wait quietly...
Thanx

I'd say it's as illegal as making sense ports for non-HTC devices.

I'm just saying that you most probably won't get an answer from HTC, because your request is pointless. But as you seem to be oh so competent, good luck with waiting.

no, its not been solved yet. honestly? i don't think it ever will. whoever figures it out will probably get a good paying job with htc because i doubt they know how as well. if they did, they wouldn't replace phones. they would just teach people how to fix it.

Yes, correct. However, do you really think if HTC knew how to unbrick phones they would let you send in your bricked one for a brand new one? No. They'd either walk you through it, or tel you to send it in, they would fix it, and send it back.
Also, you do know the myTouch is like 400 dollars without a contract? Theres no way any company wants to loose 400 dollars because of a warranty.

What's that? You don't have a few billion dollars? Oh.
@huzi7868: Why the hell do you need root for? Where did you heard this word? What does it mean to you?
HTC prepared the phone that is secured against ppl like yourself so they can't break it accidentally. Believe me it is better this way. You just stick to FB and games and you'll be just fine.

Why not just do the goldcard trick and root it? Or even read the thread and use TempRoot!
If i can root my legend and flash blay0s rom with NO POWER OR VOLUME BUTTONS im sure you can do it with all the hardware buttons working.
Why do you want root anyway?

Confused
Can someone explain why the Desire HD doesnt meet your needs?
Or is it the point of having the desired outer shell and being able to change OS's at your choosing?
...basically the HD2 syndrome...
Probably because they don't have a DesireHD, they have an HD7.

also, i was looking the the htc inspire. i'd like to dual boot wp7 and android on it. i'd like to know if this is possible. but i'm also worried about the batt life on it.

Would you settle for a Ford because the garage didn't have a Ferrari? That's the lamest excuse I've heard in a long time...
It's not Close mindedness, it's common sense. You want Android, get an Android phone. You want Dual Boot? Get a device capable of doing it.
Dual booting will become a reality for WP7 devices, it's only a matter of time. But creating Dozen's of threads on it isn't going to speed things up. If anything it'll slow it down.
My prediction is all of these WM6.5/Android threads will become redundant once Mango's released anyway, and people won't want to switch between OS's cos there'll be no point.

It is close mindedness, although I agree with the fact that if you wanted a Android he should have gotten an Android (I did, only reason I come to the HD7 forums is because my dad has one and I play with his). How did devices that are capable of dual booting come to be? It wouldn't have been possible if everyone was in mindset "I don't want that cause I have this".

I've been hearing good things about Mango and I think that WP7 will become a real competitor to iOS/Android once it comes out, until then however it is another story.
Who wouldn't want a device that can dualboot. It also preserves the life of the device in a sell/trade aspect.

I've seen exactly the same thing. The 1230 capacity battery on the Desire HD is way too small for a phone with 1ghz processor and the big screen.
The HD7 has the same specs of course, but because WP7 doesn't allow multitasking and background jobs the battery life isn't so much of an issue.

Personal opinion. WP7 is my favorite OS out there. I'll admit it has it's limitations, but for me there is no competition. It does what a smartphone should do better than any other device out there.
