[request] sgsii orginal ics rom - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can some developers please port the rom? I dont really know about it but i think with some work it will work on our Ace hopfully stable.

Just because you want a ROM means that some developer should spend hours of their time working on it?
Do it yourself if you want. And if you can't (which I know you can't), stop being so demanding.

There are plenty of rom like the sgsii rom. Look in the galaxy ace android development section

Have you tried the SGSII JB ROM v11.1?
It's not ICS, but it's a very good ROM.

Porting ICS to Optimus Black

I was just thinking to port ICS to Optimus Black.. I own a Desire HD but my brother has Optimus Black.. where i can try to get it booting ...
I just want to know if any devs out there have tried it or is anyone ready to help me (like a team) to port ICS ??
That would be awesome, but sadly there's not another dev that tried to port ICS, the only one that teased about ics on OB was CM dev Ricardo Cerqueira.
Trolling in the deep
I cannot assure for a full working port, but this weekend i will try getting the device to boot... I also need to look for a base.. hopefully i can get back in due time .. will keep everyone informed

Uh man, there's a lot of roms without laggy for x8!
There are a bunch of very good ROMs, but a stock kernel ROM definitely would be great to the users that can't unlock their booloader
Need wifi hotspots and usb tethering

please sir a stock kernel rom. . .....with good battery life.. ..

New Xg!n with tethering and hotspot for stock kernel if this possible.
Good GB for stock would be appreciated.:good: :fingers-crossed:
Yeah, there are many users that can't unlock their bootloader.
So, it would be better if You make a one for Stock kernel.

Is this a Joke. Waiting for What. :silly: You guys need to straighten up a little. We just received 4.1.2 not even a month or so. You guys want 4.2.2. Don't be so Jealous. Nobody (Samsung) will come here and answer you here. So stop posting such obligations. If you are very much interested try 4.2.2 from development thread based on CM10.1, AOSPA and AOKP. Now dont ask what they are just search in google.
Cheers and have fun

Request to all DEVELOPERS

FIRST OF ALL HELLO TO ALL DEVELOPERS
I have opened this thread to request developers specially who compile or port cm9 ics roms
i would be happy if someone from you can make AOKP ICS ROM
imagine a fast stable aokp ics combination speed of ics and customisation of aokp
i am asking for aokp ics cos jellybean aokp is present but is too heavy and show lags
so please if anyone interested then please try to make it
MY SPECIAL REQUEST FOR THIS TASK TO SOME PEOPLE
1 SKY_WALKER
2 OLDDROID
GOOD LUCK :good::good: AND THANKS IN ADVANCE
To clear things up, please don't open threads asking for development of ROM's. If you really want a new ROM you can PM a Dev. Second, please don't demand things. The guys who create these ROM's also have lives of their own and it takes a lot of effort to create these ROM's.
If you think there are some lags or other bugs in a current ROM, just report it in the ROM thread. It may help you.
Hope I make things clear. TY

is it fine i mean is it stable and performant and is the ram consumption not very high
As far as I remember it was rock stable, customisable to the bone, and the ram consumption was like, for example, like Maclaws CM9.

already but found that it becomes laggy after installation almost 10 to 15 apps
even though thanks for advice
CM9 & up aren't remotely supposed to perform as great as stock. Bcoz they weren't meant to be running on ace at the first place. It was our awesome devs that even built 4.3 for us. So if you are using them, just don't complain, use it the way they are. Especially on an armv6 800MHZ qualcomm device.:screwy:
