FAQ
Q: Why is G-Apps not listed for Download?
A: Too Bloaty, add a Google account and install this APK to keep bloat low
Q: LTE isn't working
A: Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names -> Select an APN with a Bearer that says 'LTE'
Q: Help! Phone/SystemUI/Keyboard Isn't working/Is Force Closing!
A: Make sure to do a completely clean wipe, also I'm not sure how well this will work if flashed in CWM.
Q: The Browser looks terrible.
A: Settings -> Advanced -> User agent string -> MiOne (It Renders much better & more naturally!)
Q: Where is the Weather Widget?
A: I didn't include it, as it does not support North America. :l use 'Weather BZ' from the Play Store, It is a full replacement for Xiaomi weather and themes with this rom.
Q: My Filesystems won't mount/My PC can't see my device/My phone won't act as a MTP/USB Mounting isn't working!
A: Settings -> Developer Options -> Enable Development / USB Debugging (switch both to on)
Important Notes
- If flashed in TWRP the rom will ask to install SuperSU, do not Install SuperSU as MIUI has it's own root management application.
- Airplane mode works, but will restart all applications running on the phone, turning it off does not do this.
- The Sim Card pop-up is inherent to this version, It is cosmetic and does not actually do anything

Ok I loaded it up this morning and the miui setup went good it appeared it was semi connected to a network once that was finished miui home crashed and I had no nav bar the whole time file explorer kept crashing. I opened up the camera and the file explorer crashed and it said cannot connect to camera same error as other aosp builds. I didn't have time to test messages, calls or mms but will try a bit later. I didn't get a log either will try and get one later also. Thanks for the build as long as we're moving development won't stop. We all really appreciate your work.

The On-screen buttons are enabled in the MIUI control panel
that being said I may have to find a diff. base to port from, The phone call is persistent in the 925&926

It just keeps trying to load the launcher. Then force closes but still tries to load. And i have no nav buttons. But i can't enable anything cause it keeps loading. Thanks

i couldnt really test it out because everytime i went past the set up the miui launcher would crash and not load just kept saying crashed, would really like to see miui for this thank you for doing what your doing

So I flashed n went thru setup but file explorer kept crashing and cudnt detect sim card and no nav bar.. Screen flickers sometimes n then went into setting to try and find where to enable nav bar but cudnt find it n then my launcher kept crashing...

While I understand what you're saying. We as an M community did work/come together to get Nitro an M so he could dev for us. Why don't you pilot a thread to start taking up donations to get him an HD. Seriously bro. I'm sure if you PM Nitro he'll be more than happy to build some roms if you guys get him an HD.

You need to create a rom slot and activate a new slot. Safestrap does not allow you to flash the system on the "safe" side. Once you have created a rom slot and activated it you will be able to install.

If you send a message to multiple people, sends as MMS and organizes it under a thread dedicated to those people instead of splitting into threads for the individual contacts. It's a new feature of stock 4.2, and is currently in some CM ROMs and (I believe) certain Eclipse ROMs as well.
That MMS function was included into the stock ROM as well. Looks like a great function

The dev edition must need a different update binary. Can you try throwing in one from a cm10 build? Just use 7 zip and drop it in. I I can upload a test zip to see if it works.

This rom is no longer based off of Joker Rom, Because of all of the B*tchin' it's now based off of stock 4.1.1.

Theres a new messaging app cyanogenmod based, emojis built in (not bw, now with full color, custom system ui, custom cpu freq, different props for better battery life and smoother multitasking, removed a couple of odex that took up space (not used from deleted apps.), deleted apps that where pointless, took out the auto ota check feature to save battery (there is no otas), improved camera, working on a fix for sphere, market unlocked, and more. Just so that I could make my favorite rom a bit faster and battery wise for me, then I thought to upload it for others that wanted even better battery life and speed, they where oblivious fixes, now I just need help with photo sphere and 3d gallery.:good:

Its fine. Try re-syncing, I know my friends facebook pictures do. If this does not correct the problem, try rebooting into stock and backing up your contacts on a vcf file on your sd card, then restore them on your Golden Rom by rebooting and clicking restore via external storage in your contacts app. :good::good:

This is a port bkjolly has been doing from
the PACMan rom he in no way developed this rom
he ported it to work with this specific device with
the help of Dhacker and Hashcode.

After months of work, the long awaited PACman 4.2 rom is ready for public
released. This is still work in progress WIP and there are many missing
parts. Though the rom is rock stable for average users. We are working

EDIT: Flashed Bytecode's kernel with this rom (VanquishKernel). Just like cm10.1, it gave a boost in speed and lag reduction. Also, Voice Search isn't working. Amazing rom so far, can't wait for the more updates

Same issues as cm10.1 but you get insane customization. Lag is way better with the kernel. No camera preview.

It's still worse but a lot less noticeable than cm10.1 without the kernel. Also the pictures it takes turn out super over exposed.

I just did a full wipe without restoring system data. On the first boot pie was enabled at the bottom. Setting the navigation bar to 100% in hybrid properties disabled pie and had the navigation bar show up like normal.
It may be possible that some code was changed in AOSPA that's causing that bug on your phone?
When you have a chance, take a nandroid backup, factory reset, flash PAC and see if the issue persists.

i cant get a navigation bar. Camera also doesn't work.
Awesome ROM. Can't seem to get pie to show anywhere though. Not sure how to configure it.

Overview
This is MIUIv5 ported from the Razr XT926, this devices twin. It has not been optimized with an updated anykernel and it's suggested one is placed in this rom after install.

Q: Patch Apps?
A: They're MIUI APKs built with Patchrom for use with this device specifically for a smoother and more efficient experience
Q: How do I Install?
A: Extract the APKs to a folder on your SD card and install them via the Package Manager manually, one at a time.
Expect FCs during this, but after a reboot everything will be perfectly stable!
Q: Do I have to do this for the Rom to work?
A: No, but It's suggested because It makes for a smoother and 'better' experience, It's best to be as close to native as possible.
MIUI General FAQ
Q: Why is G-Apps not listed for Download?
A: Too Bloaty, add a Google account and install the play store as an APK, I suggest using Aptoide to find it.
Q: LTE isn't working
A: Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names -> Select an APN with a Bearer that says 'LTE'
Q: Help! Phone/SystemUI/Keyboard Isn't working/Is Force Closing!
A: Make sure to do a completely clean wipe, also I'm not sure how well this will work if flashed in CWM.
Q: The Browser looks terrible.
A: Settings -> Advanced -> User agent string -> MiOne (It Renders much better & more naturally!)
Q: Where is the Weather Widget?
A: I didn't include it, as it does not support North America. :l use 'Weather BZ' from the Play Store, It is a full replacement for Xiaomi weather and themes with this rom.
Q: My Filesystems won't mount/My PC can't see my device/My phone won't act as a MTP/USB Mounting isn't working!
A: Settings -> Developer Options -> Enable Development / USB Debugging (switch both to on)
Misc.Notes
-If flashed in TWRP the rom will ask to install SuperSU, do not Install SuperSU as MIUI has it's own root management application.
-Airplane mode works, but will restart all applications running on the phone, turning it back off does not do this.
-The Sim Card pop-up is inherent to this version, It is cosmetic and does not actually do anything.
v5 Final Build Notes
This Rom will boot & work on the Atrix HD and It's suggested (though not needed) that you replace the kernel with a more updated version if available for your device, Operator error has nothing to do with me.

It's average in comparison with CM10 and so on, It's good if you consider that MIUIv5 has as much going on as iOS in terms of it's motion, how it moves and feels and so on; the hit to battery life won't be huge but you will not experience gains in battery life with a rom like this either

Yes
Ok status report. Flashed perfectly and everything worked great until 20 minutes ago. The back key stayed stuck on the down arrow when exiting the keyboard. I restarted to fix it and it brought me to the sim unlock code screen so I had to boot into fastboot and then recovery to wipe cache which fixed the problem. Btw dont mess around with the performance it causes lag if you choose powersave cpu with noop scheduler.

I flashed the ROM and Gapps and the browser wouldn't open, nor could I add a Google account or connect to the play store. Any ideas?

fully wipe and install the rom, boot it up and do its initial setup then install gapps, and make sure the gapps you're using is right
Which Gapps do you recommend and could you possibly post a link?

I guess It's worth nothing that the SIII settings actually in some cases do things, my suggestion is to not mess around with them if possible.
You'll have to find a different weather provider, I try to get this working though I know people love it, but MIUIchina doesn't support the US so both weather widgets are not working
Awesome Rom only problem I have is Google play services says it has a conflict with something on my SD card and won't install.

PA Legacy ROMs are based on CM11, so they still use the old bootloader/3.0 kernel.

After a few days of use I must say that I am really enjoying this rom. Its snappy, polished and is packed with the killer PA features one would expect. The new hover feature is very convenient and I actually forgot how much I like PA's PIE controls in immersive mode.
The one thing that doesn't seem to be functioning is the Peek feature. Hopefully its sorted out soon!

Forgive me for my apparent ignorance with this ROM, it's the first PA one I've used, but where are the PA settings? I want to change back to the regular app killer and I can't find it anywhere lol.

There are no PA settings. You Can restore your previously set PA settings in settings>backup & reset

Move apps to SD card?
Does this ROM allow moving apps to the SD card? I've had some issues with this since Google removed this feature with KK. Had Wifi issues on Cyanogen. Couldn't move apps to SD card on Gummy; looked all over for a fix, too. Getting frustrated about finding a ROM that has the functional features I'm looking for. Thanks.

Can someone tell are there any bugs in this rom ? Like mic or wifi problem and also guys i only want to flash micro gapps ..... Is camera app and browser pre installed in rom or i would have to download it ..... Cause whole gapps has camera and other things......

Great ROM..... Everything is great .... No problem in running
So here is pros and cons of this ROM
Pros
Sleek
No hangs or hicups
Everything's is running perfect
Many themes available (my fav lg g3 ROM)
Bluetooth,gsm,3g working with data
PA funstions very good
Cons
Screens recording( hangs and restarts)
WiFi(works on some routers but doesn't work with my friend phone hotspot stuck on obtaining IP)
Always awake due to NFC service
Battery depletes more due to always awake but not that quickly
Camera quality not that much good
Major flaw !
NFC service always awake and makes battery drain quickly and also can't turn off nfc its always on doesn't turn off tried many times it's the only flaw in this ROM.
Pls fix this problem or upload a patch to disable nfc permanently I don't even use nfc. Except this everything runs fine
