Looking For Keen Developers PLeasse Look Thanks

As we all Know Danny_jo is leaving us
The reason for this thread is i would like some keen developer to help create a new rom
as we know danny_jo wildpuzzle has powered most peoples roms but as he leaving i thought i would like to take jump and create with developers and see if we can produce as good quality as danny_jo had and continue with in proving the wildfire
Me and MelvinChng have come up with some crazy ideas that requires alot ov xml and modding to get the best phone space and best performance from the wildfire
so if any of u developers are wanting to join in and help or even some one who is new new development and wants to help please dont be shy if u have a skill that would support the creation of the rom then u more than welcome to join in
There's already enough mods out there.
Why not talk to an existing mod team and give your ideas?
But as I see it, all the things we "need" are already in the mods.
Cyanogen 7 FTW.
I would like to help you guys out..

S-off discussion

Starting this thread for any discussion of the s-off tool in development or s-off talk in general. Hopefully this will help keep the development thread clear of chatter.
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using XDA
Good idea, I wish there was more of this on XDA.
Perhaps if for each development project there was a dedicated thread for chatter, expressions of thanks, etc people would feel more comfortable using it.
Development threads might not grow to thousands of entries, with almost 0% of the entries actually about development.
I'm new here, post count is very low - but my posting habits won't change when I eventually get to 10 posts - unless I do get around to actually doing some Android development I can't see a reason for posting in the dev area.
I guess though that some dev's may prefer it the way it is, as a sign of recognition, or something...
Russell
thank you for doing this, i was just thinking the same thing
Yay we can yap! ..lol.. is it done yet? Jk..i hope we get it soon. I hate being left behind on GB cuz of my non-upgraded bootloader..
Sent from my HTC Raider X710e using Chuck Norris.
Honestly you are not missing much imo. GB was so damn efficient I don't see a huge revolutionary change. ICS is very smooth and fast with the help of the developers many to be named I don't want to leave anyone out. But don't feel like you're so far behind bc you are not. Only recently has there been a few more roms to try out.
will s-off make it say easier to get ASOP type roms on to this phone?
Not necessarily, but it will work for all devices (vivid, holiday, velocity) with no porting and wou will be able to flash everything right from your phone, no computer needed.
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using XDA
Having s-off has its advantages. Having being part of the beta I can tell its great.
The best for it is being really for developing New Roms and aosp. Makes a lot less of a hassle to flash New kernels and firmware.
I'm sure we won't have to wait much longer for the beta to be over, its a fairly simple process but they have to make sure its foolproof so we don't have a lot of bricks like we suffered with the ota release that happened.

yeah i'm hoping for a hTC One X port that way i don't have to run out and get the One X when its released here in Canada and be stuck with the low 16GB and non expandable memory.
I mean who comes up with these ideas to ofter 16GB for the LTE version yet the Internationale has 32GB.
Anyways getting off topic S-Off WOOOT

Bananacakes love your holiraider Rom and I could see you doing some great things with sense 4.0. You should lurk the irc channels a bit. Seems like the easiest way to get any news about s-off is just hanging out in the channel. I was really lucky to be there at the right time and got it. Don't bug them but mention your a dev and you'd like to be able to work on ics builds but you have a raider.

Your HTC One views and thoughts

Im 90% sure that Im jumping from my Samsung note 2 to the htc one, its been a long time since I was on the htc threads, as far back as my desire hd lol
My question is before I make the change is how are all you guys finding your htc one, are you happy and have any of you come from a Sammy phone. Id love to hear all your thoughts on the screen, camera, battery ect ect ect . . .
Feel free to write some reviews too.
Thanks guys and girls . . .
Don't start threads like this. You don't get to make us jump at your call. No one is owed anything other than the freedom to read any of the thousands of remarks already posted here that answer your question.
(Having said that, I love my One!)

Geez, I thought most people wouldn't of minded posting their views, if you don't want to, don't post.
I posted my view. And it's positive. And I hope you agree and enjoy your HTC One as much as I do. But come on, meet us halfway. Search a little. You have to admit, your question has already been answered. A forum is a shared resource. Respect the time of the people visiting this place and do your "due diligence". That's all I'm sayin..

Goodbye beloved incs forum

As you may or may not know I've been here for almost 3 years helping people out, trolling and the occasional n00b flame. It's been fun but read the signature and you'll understand why I must leave all you crazy kids behind. Enjoy the incs as it was an amazing phone for it's time and still stands up.
Goodbye I'll miss the drunken posts, drink on.

In my opinion first a proper bug-free rom would be reasonable instead of countless buggy ports we currently have. No offence to anyone and I hope no one will take it so, but the truth is, since cute_prince' hard work, no proper and genuine development has been done on this forum. Think about that.

I thought about that. And to be honest I don't think you have the right to say that to anyone. Since this is a free community, everyone does what they like, when they desire. No offense to you but no one is your personal slave, neither do you supervise the work done here, therefore if you want to do something you should consult more experienced developers and get stuff fixed yourself.
By doing that, you get:

/Knowledge
/Thanks
Think about it.
I will be glad to help with what I can.

I have made like 19 source builds including updates since cute's work, as well optimizing ports and adding mods, if you don't like it, you can either use stock CM10 or go back to stock/revo because they were the only Roms available. Besides, i was going to portthis till i discovered the Rom was 1gb in size, then you'd have to resize everything because it's xhdpi i think.. But, skype me later and we can work collaborately on the port Markey boiii

Well, slave and supervision are a bit strong words here... it's just an opinion not an accusation, don't take it personal.
In general, it would be nice to see quality instead of quantity. Just 1 bug-free CM or AOSP based ROM.
