[MOD] {ARC} Raise Arc's userdata to 420mb from 380mb

Warning: This will erase your userdata partition. It is HIGHLY recommended to do a nandroid backup with CWM "BEFORE" performing this procedure
TUTORIAL:
Follow this method to make your userdata partittion to 420mb
1. Reboot your phone into CWM
2. Move to "Backup and Restore",then select "Backup"
3. When backup done, power off
4. unzip and flash the attached ftf file with flashtool.
5. Go into CWM again, select "Backup and Restore" then "Advanced restore", select your last backup then "restore data"
6. Enjoy your extra space
7. To reverse this process just flash the original ftf of your choice (42, 58, 62) and your userdata will return to its original state!
This mod is useless to those who have the "Arc S Lt18i" or have flashed a rom made specifically for Arc S (ICS Beta rom) as this is where this mod came from.
It is however very useful for us "Arc Lt15i" users cause we gain an extra 40mb to store apps on internal memory
I have been using this for a couple weeks now and have suffered no ill/negative effect. That said, it is at your own risk and I claim no responsibility if you turn your beloved Arc into a useless paperweight!

So, with only bringing back Nand backup will not change this rise of userdata space? And what will happen if I just flash new ROM? It will stay unchanged? I will still have 420mb?
Now I looked and I alredy have 420mb... Hmm...

restoring your nandroid backup and changing to any rom will not effect your new space of 420mb.
It will only revert if you flash an original SE firmware (ftf file)

ok so for someone how is using this/has flashed this can u do some testing for me?
ONLY FOR ARC (LT15 users)
download the .42/.58/.62 FW and flash only the userdata & cache partitions, exclude all other partitions (checkboxes in latest FlashTool)... do this for using both ARC (LT15) & ARC S (LT18) specific firmware...
and then report how the data partition size is...

but arc s & Neo v have 420 if you flash ether you will end up with 420
I'm lost in what your trying to get at
If your looking for problems mines been done for months with no problems
Or if its for some weird n wonderfull trick your planning disregard me fully
It been in Neo thread for months never seen any bad effects or bad comments

[MOD][AD2SDX] which increase the ROM and added with SD card
which is much better then Link2SD but i don't understand why no one were talk
about it ..does it have much of problem using AD2SDX mod even thu i saw
positive respond from the users after applying it

That was a good mod but Truely 420mb is more than enough as most applications can me moved to SD card in App manager ... Unless u are app Lover and isntall more than 100 apps then AD2SDX is good for

Isn't SE been telling that Arc S and Arc have different partition tables and we shouldn't cross flash them due to this? and recently lot of Arc users had flashed ICS Beta directly on their Arc and never had any known issues with Filesystem!
I don't know what that proves... may be after all, it's just the CPU difference rather than anything more!

As for Base UI its been in Tablet style but ... Some apps needs to be manually in Tablet Mode ... For doing that

So Go to settings>>>paranoid settings>>>List of Apps>>>GMAIL>>>DefaultUi >>> Tablet Mode and DPI ... STOCK DPI TABLET
For Lockscreen
Go to settings >>>> paranoid settings >>> Hybrid settings>>> DIALOGUES and POPUP'S DENSITY>>>> 240
Go to Settings, System, Font size, set it to NORMAL
Check "Auto Hide" in Settings, System, Statusbar, to finally get Fullscreen

the "official" paranoid-rom is based on ICS so i think this port too

FXP 116?

This ROM looks very intersting and promising. :good:
But will have to use some of the latest FXP releases 126 for example which include important updates and fixes.
Otherwise it seems great, the Tablet Mode and the App-DPI settings differentiate it from the other roms.

Wow, weird. I was flashing Paranoid yesterday on my boyfriend's Desire HD and I thought to myself how awesome it would be if we had it for our Arcs as well. And now I see it posted here. Awesome T_T

All the zips and files are ready all i need to do is upload it, for that i need to go to my cousins as my upload speeds are a crappy 10kbps :/
And the weather is horrible , rains all day ere in Goa
Ill ave the ROM uploaded by the end of this day
The wait is worth it believe me

How To install :
Code:
1. Download Rom zip file & Copy into SD Card.
2. Reboot in to Recovery
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. wipe cache partition
5. Go into mounts & storage
6. format system
7. format sd-ext
8. Go back & go into Advanced
9. Wipe Dalvik Cache
10. Go back & install zip from sdcard
11. choose zip from sdcard & select Downloaded rom (LewaOS-PRO-12.03.16.zip)
12. Wait while installing rom (it will take 5min)
13. Go back & reboot system now
14. Now you ready to go... ENJOY..
Hotfix1 : Download zip file from attachment and flash via recovery
by applying this patch LEDkeyboard problem will be solved and HW keyboard map will be set as default Latin QWERTY
after applying this patch an application called "Keyboard LED will be add to your applications . open it and enable :"autostart","enable"

Very smooth n fast....
But i found Titanium back'up not work properly... can't restore multiple from batch progres. Restore must be one by one
And walkman GB can't instal to this rom, maybe you have link walkman for you rom.

I installed this ROM and it is very fast.
but I have to check battery life because CM 7.2 has battery issues.
I was able to batch restore my apps through titanium backup.

Titanium Backup works properly
make sure you use paid version !
in the titanium backup's setting looking for " app processing mode " and use " indirect method "
me myself usually dont use walkman i use poweramp and its great
you can install beats audio and dsp manager by flashing this file :

It is the fastest rom I have tried on my xperia pro till now... Great job mate... :good:
I am loving this rom but there are a few bugs...
1. When I try to swipe away a notification... It opens it instead...
2. The keyboard map is not properly configured which is not a issue.. But still
3. The keyboard led is also not working...

Gaming in both arc and arc s is not a big difference becoz my friend has Arc and i have tried playing game on it

it s a light rom
it s just have evry thing that i said

hmm... after installing your ROM,
1. Maps FC at first but I use the world navigation mod version and works well.
2. Swipe notification area give SystemUI FC but I can use another SystemUI with swipe working and it works now.
3. There's no 2G/3G toogle but I can use another mod to make it works.
4. No smart search on dialer but I can use another mod.
5. No alarm but I can take from another mod.
6. Perfomance is great as I play TEMPLE RUN 2 with no lag at all. I mean not a single lag... (like I'm playing on apple devices)
7. Battery life, I think it's too soon to tell.
8. Overall, great great ROM. Nice job. Thanks.

Yes, in my opinion, it's good for gaming as I don't play heavy games. But, as I know that temple run is always lag a bit in every rom.
If I may give some advice, don't go to ics. Nothing beats the gingerbread's smoothness, even JB. Ignore the benchmark score. We can see and feel when we use GB. Anyway, just advice.

Xperia Revelation HD is Stock Jelly Bean based custom ROM which is now turned into a Z Ultra/ Honami style ROM. It's purified and it's very lite ROM and compressed to 496 MB because there are some applications that must be removed and compressed many size for several apks that it would gain more space of system partition. So, It's for Xperia V with unlocked or locked bootloader, In fact, this ROM is tweaked to fast, smooth, stable, and beautiful UI. I have implemented for some bloatware or unwanted apps is being removed for increase more RAM usage and also I tried to implement RTMixmanager tweaks and finally it got worked and free RAM always raised at boot and got little bit decreased RAM. It's also having a good performance for gaming and great multitasking ever. If you want to have a good battery performance, taste friendly battery on this ROM that it has being longer. IF YOU WANT TO COME ANOTHER ROM and UPDATE ALSO ( FOR UNLOCKED AND LOCKED BOOTLOADERS )
Make a backup via titanium and backup your personal data ( app, APN, and etc )
Download 9.1.A.1.140 FTF above, turn off your phone and flash it using flashtool
Download this ROM in download link above and copy into SD Card, for locked copy this ROM and CWM zip into sd card
for locked BL, Root using Root with THIS , and install CWM for THIS !!
for unlocked BL, flash one of recommended kernel via fastboot
Reboot into CWM
Select Factory Reset/ Wipe data ( wipe data > yes )
Select Mount and storage and Format system ( format system > yes )
Wipe cache partition ( wipe cache partition > yes )
Select Advance and wipe dalvik cache ( wipe dalvik cache > yes )
Select install zip from SD card ( install zip from sd card > install zip from external sd card ) and select my zip 'Xperia Revelation HD.zip' that you downloaded
Select Install and wait for 2-3 minutes
after installation completed, Reboot via CWM ( for locked BL, install CWM zip also and reboot )
enjoy full version of my ROM and tick unknown source

Swapping is hard. Our vold.stab files are different than other devices. I've tried and it ended up with bootloop. Unless someone decided to find a working way, this is impossible.
