Special PowerAmp PureX+ Presets:
PureXPsychoRealism+ - Just like PureXPsychoRealism; this preset enhances bass effectively (Increased 30Hz - 60Hz bands), enhances treble by increasing 16k band and 8k whilst keeping clarity by reducing 500k, 1k and 2k bands. This is a more precise version of normal PureXPsychoRealism.
General Audio Effects (Equalizer presets only in Sound Enhancements):
PureXPsychoRealism - Experience realistic audio, rich deep bass and realistic acoustics. Best acoustics and bass you will ever hear. (This is best used on Headphones)
PureXHiClarity - Listen to Clarity like never before, from Ultra high frequencies to crystal clear vocals. This is clarity at it's best. (This is best used on earphones)
PureXBeats - Optimized and fine-tuned for Beats by Dr Dre headphones/earphones. Get rid of that terrible 'muddy' sound beats headphones/earphones produce by too much bass, hear more clarity in your Beats headphones/earphones.
Common Effects:
PureXDynamics is a more effective way to minimize volume differences (Like the Dynamic Normalizer) Acts like a audio limiter, it's a more safer way to listen to audio as it softens the other instrument volumes down so that every instrument can still be heard.
Speaker Effects (System-Wide when enabled):
PureXIntenseBLAST - Greatly enhance audio volume of internal speaker (Modded version of xLOUD)
PureXHiFi - Greatly enhance audio quality of internal speaker (Modded version of ClearPhase)
Don't be fooled by your Settings saying ClearPhase and xLOUD in sound settings still, they are just the names, they will still produce the exact same effect as the two above but it is renamed in Walkman Sound Enhancements however
If you are using the phone in a different language OTHER than English, please note that User-Defined 1 is PureXPsychoRealism, User-Defined 2 is PureXHiClarity and Custom is PureXBeats

NOTE 2: It SHOULD work with all Xperia Firmware-Based ROMs, not so sure about AOSP roms as I have a lock bootloader and therefore I cannot try them out. Please do not constantly ask if it will work for a specific rom, Try before you ask.
NOTE 3: PLEASE! FOR YOUR OWN SAFTEY, MAKE A NAND BACKUP FOR YOUR ROM! I WILL NOT BE GIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO UNINSTALL.
NOTE 4: This mod will work for Locked/Unlocked Bootloaders as long as you have a custom recovery.
NOTE 5: The speaker's audio quality becomes worse as you increase volume, this is because our speaker cannot output good audio quality at loud volumes.It is impossible to keep audio quality and loud volume because of out hardware. The HTC One has a dedicated Amp inside it's chipset which amplifies audio better with more sound, that is why new HTC phones can have very loud speaker volume with good speaker audio quality.
NOTE 6: Sometimes, if you play music, it could take a few seconds to let Sound Enhancements load your settings (This is normal)
NOTE 7: If you are on another device and is using Xperia Z version (The updated version of this soundmod and not PureXAudioLITE) Don't be mistaken that all features work, because it just won't. My audio mod is specifically made for the APQ8064 chipset and WCD9310 DAC (MPQ8064 audio too) the features will not ALL work because every device has different hardware/software, even if it install fine, not all features will work. Don't get confused.
NOTE 8: I advise everyone to go onto XZDualRecovery as it's the only recovery (As I am aware of) which has native init.d installed directly in it's ramdisk just so you can use the init.d scripts in my mod. (Only applies to locked bootloaders)
NOTE 9: If you are having audio skipping issues, make sure that you exclude: Walkman (If you have 2 Walkman apps, select the second one), PureXAudio Engine and MusicFX in STAMINA Mode so that the phone will not try and make it inactive. If you have Skipping in any other music player, add that in the exclude list of Stamina mode.
NOTE 10: Hearing impairment is caused by volumes higher then 85dB as stated in Wiki "If one is exposed to loud sound (including music) at high levels or for extended durations (85 dB A or greater), then hearing impairment will occur." If you feel uncomfortable when hearing music, I strongly advise you to either turn down the volume or have a rest.

Loudness is slightly improved in headphones and/or speakers
Why don't you try it yourself rather than just asking?
Use walkman instead since I don't support dspmanager

For Beats Audio to FULLY function like it does on the htc, you would need htc frameworks, frameworkmodification and something to enable it via a app...
Dolby, I'm not sure but Dolby is really crap so I'm not going to add that in.
Beats drivers do not exist. You can have beats audio libraries and bin files but not proper drivers. Those are in HTC's kernel. Beats Audio will NEVER properly work as it is just like porting HTC's Sense camera - It requires a large amount of framework modification.
I do, however, included Beats Audio files and beatscore library but I highly doubt they work. Might remove them in v3.0 later
Why would you guys want beats audio? from my experience with the One X, Beats Audio is just a stupid Gimmick by HTC. It doesn't produce enough bass by itself, I started using Equalizers instead... IMO Beats Audio only compresses the audio even more and making the sound louder but less clearer... and that is why I switched to Sony, the Z with the qualcomm chip has loads of audio possibilities and I could spend more time discovering more of Qualcomms DAC features (Like in v2.0, I forced 96KHz playback audio)
Well yes loudness and bass is all Sony XZ requires..the audio output otherwise is clean!

Loudness I agree, but the bass is fine. If you had been on the One X, the bass was awful... Lucky we have Walkman Sound Enhancements to increase bass
I will focus on getting the volume for headphones to be louder Won't guarantee that it will work though...
I thought it can't be better than sony stock sound.

What I thought as well, the Z has great audio already in the stock firmware but I can always make the audio better

You didn't sign the zip properly. There are entries to systemui.apk for whatever reason (reused zip?). Re-sign it, it can fix potential flashing problems.
Sorry to ask, but what is beats? some kinda audio app in Xperia S?
how are the libraries loaded?
in ICS audio libraries, including stock xLOUD, ClearBass, SRS, MusicFX, DSP, are loaded via /etc/audio_effects.conf
but this file is absent in the package? how is it loaded and configured? if they are not loaded, flashing the package would only adding files that will not be used to the phone??

Yeah,i agree with deanage1983,why you don't make it without the boot animation,it's annoying because i use sony ericsson,not HTC,so that's not correct.If there's a way please make the mod without the boot animation,otherwise it's an amazing mod thanks a lot

i try to Restore nandroid backup but restarts to fast and i can't go to the menu of CWM or of my rom the recovery option to restore it
I cant even restore it success go to restore from Clockworkmod via fastoboot but when i click to restore it it say me system.img not found,data.img not found,android_secure.img not found and cache.img the same i can't understand how this mod damage my phone any other idea?
Maybe Can you make an unistall mod too?

As op said, do not ask for this mod will work on rom (x) this works on most of roms

The only thing wrong is there are glitches sometimes while changing song can u make soft song changing effect like on poweramp ?

u must have atleast more than 30 mb free on a system to see the widgets and others u see on the screensho.the walkman in the screenshot is 12 mb total it takes alot of space..i done it but the problem i cannot flash the gapps because the system is full..so i just restore my back up with awesome beats and acid sound mod.its just the same with or without walkman and fx settings..i just feel the real bass even though i only had the acid and awesome beats mod installed...

AC!D Audio provides you an overall better sound quality, more precisely:
● Bass are deeper, crispier and more powerfull, with nice effect without distortion and crackling
● treeble are less aggressive and more immersive (you'll enjoy whistle, whisper, instrument like piano, guitar,... will be much more natural and balanced)

§1 Remove ALL Third app equaliser (DSP Manager, Market EQ app,...)
§2 Be sure your ROM don't have any other Sound MOD preinstalled
§3 Download AC!D Audio Engine
(You can choose between AROMA and the standard flashable zip, read careffuly the difference between AROMA and SIMPLE)
§4 ONLY if you downloaded SIMPLE ZIP, download walkman player and (if you want) the addon of your choice (Noozxoide for example)
§5 Put downloaded files in a special folder on your SDCARD (or internal storage), you can create an AC!D Audio folder (will be usefull in the future)
§6 Once you have all needed files on your phone reboot in recovery (CWM)
§7 FIRST WIPE CACHE PARTITION AND DALVIK CACHE!!!
§8a AROMA: only after that if you only downloaded AROMA version just flash it and follow instruction, take time to read (really easy installation with good explaination) (don't care about status 0 error showing at the end of installation just reboot)
<<< Do not follow theses steps if you use AROMA go to step 9>>>
§8b SIMPLE UPDATE ZIP: (Walkman is not compatible with any other addon, so you have to choose between Walkman or one of 4 availble Addon)
- AC!D + Walkman: First flash AC!D Audio Engine, Then if you want Walkman (with clearbass, xloud etc) Flash Walkman Addon and reboot
- AC!D + ADDON: First flash AC!D Audio Engine, (DO NOT FLASH WALKMAN!!!), and then flash the Addon of your choice (Noozxoide for example) and reboot

Little Tips:
- I REALLY SUGGEST YOU TO USE AC!D AND WALKMAN ONLY (without any other Addon) (in my opinion gives the best audio quality) (but walkman might not work on All devices)
- If you can't change volume level in walkman just click on audio effect it will resolve immediately this issue
- ALWAYS FLASH ON A CLEAN INSTALL!!!
- Once it booted leave your phone 5min to let all effect settle then reboot once again!
- DON'T FLASH ANY ADDON IF YOU FLASHED WALKMAN ADDON (NOT COMPATIBLE)
- (Walkman addon may cause bootloop on some devices cause it takes space in system partition)
- IN CASE OF BOOLTOOP ---->REFLASH YOUR ROM AND THEN TRY UNIVERSAL VERSION<----

First reply! Quick question...would a screen off volume button track skip be considered an incompatible mod? Running Kinda Crap Mods 2.2 which has that feature. Also, the Samsung Optimised zip file...do I flash that and just that on my GS3 or do I run the 5.0 all in one Aroma and then flash the Samsung Optimised on top of that afterward? i flashed it on galaxy note 2 using aroma
although i don't see the lines in the buildprop but the noozoxide eq works with poweramp
so are the lines a must to show in buildprop
i flashed the one for gs3 on the note 2 without the walkman

flashed this using aroma installer on my verizon galaxy s3 on aokp rom milestone 1 official with ktoonz kernel along with a previous version of ac!d audio mod v2 (custom 1 to work with dspmanager.) Everything seems to be working on this version 5 compared to r3 which cut off my cell signal (messed with baseband) even with a fresh install. The only odd thing is that noozxoide icon isnt there anymore but I can still selected it in music effect under sound setting and also can open it via google play store. any ideas? I also flashed the noozxoide add on as well

I've asked this is the previous post and from what I learned its supposed to be an improvement to the whole system. (which I assume pandora as well)
I have galacy s3 tmobile I have installed on 3 different roms and I just get the same results.... installer stsus zero with no changes.... I used aroma with diffeeent options eachtime but no luck ty

Ok so I flashed and I don't see anything new at the end of my build.prop file. I did not choose the walkman add-on however. I do see the apps in my app drawer however for the mod so do I still need to edit my build.prop? I see in the build.prop there's beats audio stuff. Is beats installed with the mod automatically or was it one of the choices in Aroma? Thanks.
Arright I have flashed a aroma version every thing is just soo expectedd great updateee......only one bug sound enhancment dosnt work in walkman player I tried to change setting of sound to sound enhancement but still doesnt work then I restarted but no use......only that is the bug otherwise every thing is awesommm.......

I am happy to present my StereoMOD based on „Dontbelieve MOD” from Xperia Z1. I did tweak Xperia Z’s „snd_soc_msm” file among others in order to achieve real stereo speakers on a mono speaker phone like XZ, ZR and ZL.
Compatibility range 4.3 – 4.4.4; Android L – stock roms, custom stock-based roms, custom based rom and possibly many other roms.
AROMA Installer- noob and user friendly
How does the StereoMOD work?
• Sony did a good job with the earpiece speaker – loud and crisp. Giving the build quality we decided to use it as an additional speaker to achieve stereo.
• When the phone rings, when you get a notification, when you listen to music/radio or even while you are in a call (speakerphone), instead of hearing everything through an awfully small speaker, you’ll have two speakers, one for the Left, the other for the Right channel.
• So, it’s easy. Earpiece speaker works together with the main speaker to achieve real stereo and surround effect on your phone. Just like the Z2 or Z3 but better in many aspects.
Features:
• Stereo speaker output for:
o Media (music, videos, you name it);
o Notifications and ring-tone;
o In-call stereo speakerphone. • Recovery aroma flash which gives you control over what should or should not be installed:
o Option to make a backup of your current settings – and restore;
o Auto Left and Right channels swapping according to device rotation;
o S-Force Surround ported from Xperia Tablet Z (Included with Auto channel swapping, Only for Stock 4.4.4);
o Stereo FM radio;
o Stereo Ringer;
o Stereo in-call speakerphone;
o Custom channel assignment (you can choose which speaker to be assigned to which channel – L-R).
o Headphone boost;
o Custom volume menu (in which you choose how loud each channel should be in order to get the desired volume and the right balance between earpiece and main speaker);
o Uninstall option.• Auto-channel swapping (L-R; R-L) according to device orientation (auto-rotate must be enabled)
• S-Force Surround – optional;
• Manual control over volumes (guide below).
Requirements and Installation
• Requirements:
o Xperia Z, Xperia ZR, Xperia ZL (mod can be adapted for other devices with the snd_soc_file but giving the specific device config you should consult me first);
o Stock, or Stock Base 4.3-4.4.4-5, Dirty Unicorn v7.8(4.4.4), KMA AOSPA 30/07 or possibly all custom roms, you name it.
o Root access;
o Working recovery;
o Now compatible with Android L.• Installation:
- Customisable
o Download the latest version of StereoMod (Aroma flashable zip);
o Flash it through recovery;
o Follow the Aroma installer steps and make a backup (just to be safe);
o Select your preferred features; channel configuration, channel volumes and proceed to install;
o Reboot.- Express
o Download the latest version of StereoMod (Express flashable zip);
o Flash it through recovery;
o Reboot.
o If it's not balance properly for your device, use the customizable version instead.Note: Exception only for Stock Sony 5.0 user, please choose KK as an option in Aroma or use KK Express package below, instead of LL version. For other rom please follow the installation instructions normally.
Manual installation, manual controls and manual uninstall:
• Manual install:
o Unzip the Express package
o Copy snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3 from the package
o Replace this file in to /system/etc/snd_soc_msm folder
o Set permission -rw-r--r--(644).
o And Reboot!
• Manual Controls:
Open the snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3 file that you just replaced and edit with editor. I recommended using 920 Text Editor or DroidEdit on mobile which could run such a big code.
Go to line #2966, you will see that the following code is related to speaker. Scroll down to line #2985 and #2986, you will see these code:
'RX1 Digital Volume':1:73
'RX3 Digital Volume':1:71
RX1 is Earpiece and RX3 is Loudspeaker. Change these blue values will effect the volumes for xLoud off.
If you scroll down alittle bit to line #3010, you'll noticed instantly that it is related to xLoud on. Do the same to Line #3029 and #3030.

'RX3 Digital Volume':1:72
Change these values will effect volumes for xLoud on. Becareful not to raise RX1 volume too high, it might fry your earpiece. Both of their stock default value is 68. You take full responsible for your own tweak.
• For manual uninstall, just flash StereoMod XZ-Revert.zip in recovery and reboot. OR use the Uninstall or Backup and Restore option in the aroma.

Works beautifully well in Xperia ZL too :good: you can update the OP
Manually installed V1.2 and rebooted
Had to take the left/right/stereo test video mentioned in the OP to confirm it working

Mod sound
Everything is super. But here's earpiece is much quieter playing ((. Possible to get by him podbavit volume ?? But certainly not inflicting damage (not to snore) Efekt minimal (. SONY Z 6603 4.4.2 230(PCT)

Im working on sound issues, 4k video recording is so far not possible on custom roms, bluetooth is next to be fixed
Great job! If you nail the speaker call quality and the Bluetooth sound you will deliver the first H870 AOSP OREO ROM with no issues!!

You can also use 'Swipe Navigation' from the play store. You can make it work by root so there's no need to speed down your phone by granting accessibility service.
I really love this app, only use it for back, home and recents. You can also set long press action.
(I use this app on fulmics ROM)

1. Cstarck's 27 Gcam mod for the normal lens only works with hdr+ enchanced version. The normal hdr (witch has Zero Shutter Lag) doesn't work. It takes the photo but there is nothing saved. Also the same happens in portrait mode. The wideangle lens works in both modes as it should. Any thoughts?
2. Ok Google can't be used. The Google Assistant in Google app isn't the new version with "hey Google" option and when I launch the assistant I get this weird error. (Attached screenshot). Also when I enable the "access with voice match" option in smart Lock settings (voice match) the system doesn't allow to remain on and immidiately it turns off. Any thoughts?
Two minor ui issues:
- The padding on the status bar needs to be larger because the text gets too close to the curved corner of the screen. (See attachment)
-When the navigation bar height is changed the middle button stays the same size
NOTE: This is how the V30's Camera ID's are laid out. My normal lens app uses ID 0 and 1. My wide lens app uses ID 1 and 2.

By the way this ROM is crazy good in terms of battery life! The idle battery drain is 0!!! (Using greenify and naptime with magisk). Check out the screenshot!
