if you give me a file for modding...you must give some information!
1) your file firmware
2) if this file contains MOD (like reboot option in power menu)
3) if it's an STOCK or CUSTOM ROM file and witch version of the CUSTOM ROM
Like that people who want the MOD can take it if I have already make the MOD for this one

When volume button is pressed, you get volume control for currently used audio stream.
With this mod, you get also button for changing volume for all other streams.

You can diff framework.jar with original one by using e.g. Beyond Compare and you will know what to change...

Thanks. For anyone interested you need to mod VolumePanel + VolumePanel$StreamResources, not just VolumePanel as I tried for a while
Yeah, it was just a hint.
All VolumePanelxxxx.smali's are coming from one VolumePanel.java.
peetr, you seem to be clued up on java, have you ever thought about writing Xposed modules for your mods?
I don't know too much about coding, but I learned how to find things from java in smali and backwards and how many things work in bytecode. I don't even know yet, how to make some preference properly, so I am using properties for user changes in my rom. It's easy.

I've go through your flashable zip. You made your zip for Xperia ZL C6503 . It's not for C6603 as this is a C6603 forum.

At first you need to know that in locked bootloaders, custom kernels can't be used!

I'm quite confident that to make this work you only to change some stuff in android.policy.jar.
Get the rom with the feature in it, and get a stock rom, decompile both android.policy.jar, and run a compare tool like Meld to see what was added.

Doesn't that drain huge battery ?
i mean the touch screen has to be active to recognice a touch... not ? so your stand by time would decrease drastically.
I'm using app experiance pro. Is avaible option touch to wake, no drain battery.

- Settings app simply closes (no fc) when tapping the "More..." button below wifi and bluetooth settings. Looks like a system apk is missing?
- Navbar glitches.. But these are typical for Z1 Taskswitcher port
- Some Xperia dialog windows also create a strange white frame in the background..
Didn't test the rom much longer, but except for these bugs it's pretty cool.. I especially love the white volume popup!

Yeah like yours? man you are underrated on the T forums, the quality of work that you produced in your white one (can't remember the name :/) was awesome, my T is dead at the minute but after I'll give it another go. I love the white UI too, Honami or not.
