Well, i'm going to NYC in few weeks and i would like to profit to buy a new phone. My question is : will a One bought in america work with french network? Particularly HSPA+ and 4G (LTE).
I want to be sure that it'll be fully working here.

any help would be appreciated I have a UK Kaiser (TYTN II) that I am selling and a potential buyer wants to know if it will work in the USA can anyone answer this or tell me if there is a ROM or something that would be needed.

You should be OK with the stock ROM; I've been using a UK Kaiser on the AT&T 3G network for over a year, running the factory WM 6.0 ROM.
If his network uses GSM/UMTS standards then yes.

Come on man... u should know it better! Kaiser is gsm quadband and umts triband! Has advertise by HTC... should work anywhere in the world! lol

You might need to Sim-unlock the phone though.
Hi, i want so much buy a HTC ONE, but here im brazil the basebands for 3G is 2100MHz and GSM/EDGE is 850/1800MHz. Im going to United States next month and my question is What version of HTC ONE i need buy? AT&T?, T-MOBILE?, UNLOCKED?, or if its possible flash a radio compatible with brazil baseband.

I had this doubt too. Asked around and the answer is that it will work fine in Brazil. Aren't the versions basicaly the same except the AT&T with a different radio? But surely it has to be unlocked if you want to use it here. I am willing to buy a Dev Edition...
I'm going to NY in July, and buying the One will be the first thing i'll do there.
EDIT: We have no assist from HTC here, so buying it early in the trip could be helpful if any defects are found in the phone, sou you could exchange it.

I bought my phone when I was living out side of China and it was working perfectly. Now I moved to China and 3G will not work:crying:
What I have been told is that the WCDMA in China is different to the rest of the world.
I was hoping that someone can give a better advise than go and buy a new phone.

So Im from South africa and recently bought an htc one sprint version online. I bought it because I got it really really cheap. Probably cos its a sprint version...
Anyways I love this phone and I want to know is there any way to get to work without roaming n **** with one of my service providers here in SA.
So basically what im asking is there anyway to convert this sprint version to an international version
I have an htc desire hd so im quite familiar with rooting and stuff like that.

I'm living in Netherlands but I gonna move to LA after a couple of months. I wanna buy a Note 8 for Christmas. Do you have any experience with any limitations in the USA with the SMN950F/DS model?
I have read many articles, but I'm still afraid my expensive phone won't be able to use the networks in the USA or the 4G won't work there or something like that.
So If you have any experience about this, please, let me know.
