Problem with momax ultra tough case - Galaxy Note II Accessories

Hello!
One month ago I bought this case for my note. http://www.momax.net/eng/product_detail.php?Id=289
It was beautiful and perfect for me.
However, it's starting to spoil prematurely. It's losing paint around the edges and the colour is turning to black .

Anybody bought this case?
I know It's cheaper than samsung's cases, but It's more expensive than a simple chinese one.

Is it turning black because the paint is wearing off or is that diet accumulation? In any case just call the company that sold it to you and ask them to replace it.

Case has 2 problems, paint is wearing and blue is turning black only with the touch of trousers.
I sent an email to "momax". They need the product and the invoice. But while they receive my case, and replace it, I'd be 2 months without case.
I opened this thread to know if someone had the same problem, in this case, then I will not sent anything and I'd buy other case.
Furthermore, my experiencie will be good for the community. This case is so delicate, I take care my device a lot, and this is the result.
Thanks.

that almost looks like normal wear to me on a case. The black is most likely from the grease on your skin and can probably be cleaned up with some rubbing alcohol and cotton ball or something like that (if you haven't tried).
The paint sucks, it just means they use a cheap clear coat or don't clear it at all so it can't take the abuse of going in and out of a pocket. Since it looks like a simple case I would just pickup another similar one while you wait for the replacement they can be had for real cheap.

I tried cleaning it, but I got nothing.
Paint is beautiful, and feels nice, but it's so bad. I used it for 1 month and now it has this problem...

HTC Touch in "carbon fibre"

So I wanted a bit of a different look to my HTC casing. However I don't like silicone or other add-on cases, so I went a different route. On a lark I went to Canadian Tire since I remembered they used to have a fake carbon fibre vinyl available (don't ask how I know). However I found an even better one which looks a bit more realistic (and is slightly transparent so when you place it over coloured surfaces the underlying colour comes through).
Wrapped it around my HTC front and back (took the back cover off to do it). Once you lay it on you can use an exacto-knife to trim out the parts you don't want covered. Then used a heat gun to help wrap the edges without wrinkles (that just happened to be on sale too!).
The finished product:

Maybe not everyone's taste but unless you get REALLY close its fairly hard to tell its not an OEM finish (IMO).
I was in a auto parts store the other day and you know what I saw the exact product you used for this pretty cool in my opinion though I prefer the soft touch feal maybe if my phone gets banged up enough I might do this but looks good
I wish some company would release a leather battery cover, or a way to make it all leather. I think it would look very nice

covers that dont surround the bezel

So I recently ordered a supcase on Amazon and while I like the way it protects my nexus overall, I can't stand how difficulty it is to swipe down my notification panel or press the soft keys because it covers the bezel. Do any users have any experienced with any cases around the same price that don't happen to cover the bezel?

I didn't search for a better price, but this design is the best on the market for any tablet I've used. They're all the same with a different name punched into the cover, except there's one variation that has a hand strap. Get this. If you search, you can probably find it for about $5-10.
I have that one with a hand strap, moko is punched in the front.
I really like feels good, device feels secure in the holders. Slim and sexy.

After owning 5-6 different cases, the link below contains the absolute best one I've ever used. It's a little pricey (35 bucks), but hop on the chat and ask if they have any coupon codes. They gave me one when I ordered, which surprised me. Only shaved off 3-4 bucks, but it's better than nothing.
At any rate, it's the best one I've used. Very secure, well designed, nice quality.

Noreve make the best cases. Pricey though.

I'm happy with this one. The hand strap is useful to tuck your usb-otg drive into so its not flopping around.

Thanks for the response guys.

M16 Magazine Pouch

Having purchased my T-Mobile GNote2 on the first day it was available in-store (locally, last Wednesday) I didn't expect to find much in the way of cases. Of course the store didn't have any.
So I went to my local tacti-cool mil-surplus store to see what it might fit in.
Turns out our GNote2 is very similar in size to an M16 magazine; the phone is thinner and a bit narrower but close to the same height. This is convenient as there are many pouches made for this popular magazine.

This is the one I got,it was $10
From the top, with the phone in, it fits nicely, probably room for a TPU style case or a bigger battery.
The case came with the bungee cord so I used it to keep the phone in. I'm sure there are some cases that have full flaps.
Lots of ways to attach to your belt/things
The case I got uses the MOLLE system, which has straps sewn in and makes it attacheable to many systems.
M16 magazines are NOT delicate, so there is no lining to protect screens/finishes. And of course this looks military so may not fit in just anywhere. Color options for this kind of military gear tend to be black, tan, green and various camos. Chances are good that Academy will have some kind of pouch, as they sell the magazines, the M16 is quite popular.
For $10 I think this will work just fine for a robust beater pouch. Looking forward to a serious protective case for the phone, I'm sure it will still fit in this pouch, but might be a little hard to get out if it gets tight.
Just adds to the Bad Ass Ness of this device!lol Yes!

Battery Back Case with flip cover

So, I was rummaging around DX.com and found this little beauty:
http://dx.com/p/3800mah-backup-power-battery-back-case-for-samsung-galaxy-note-2-n7100-white-178625
I'm thinking this would be a sweet thing to get since it's a case, battery, flip cover, with a kickstand to boot.
Anyone have any experience with something like this?

I was interested in this as well (although the stock battery is just fine). I've read the few reviews that I could find on Amazon and they were not so great. Issues such as Units smoking, phones being damaged, etc. However, none were made or sold by a reputable company so I'm going to keep my distance.

I've got one in my Galaxy s3. Don't buy it. The clip fell off within 2 weeks of light use. The battery lasts about an hour at most even though it was supposed to be 3300mah. And it made the phone run hot. Not to mention it was very thick and made the phone heavy.
The flip cover's edges peeled off in 2 weeks as well. It didn't fall off though. That's about the only good thing I can say about it.
I bought it on ebay so I guess it's my fault I got a cheap cover for $25.00. The seller had 100% good feedback so I thought I would get something good. When I emailed that picture to the seller, he said I abused it and he wouldn't help me.
I'm a disabled USMC Combat Vet, how am I going to abuse it? I don't leave the house much, I carry the phone in a messenger shoulder bag when out and put it on my desk when I'm home. Oh well, you live and learn.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll pass on this and just get a couple of extra batteries.

The outside look catched my eyes!

I bought this tempered glass screen protector for my Nexus 5X and I couldn't be happier ! It was super easy to put on with no problem with bubbles like the plastic film screen protectors that I have used in the past. I will never buy the plastic protectors again after experiencing this glass one. Every time that I buy a new electronic item I dread putting on the screen protector. The bubbles that you cannot get rid of and getting it exactly in the right place is unnerving. This glass protector also will give it protection from dropping or blows to the screen. My old iPad has a cracked screen and I wish that I had put a glass protector on it instead of plastic.
It seems that IPELY is a new brand,to be honest, the outside look catched my eyes when I first saw it,BUT now I find the round edges of 2.5D covers the edges of my phone perfectly and boosts the security of my device at the same time.
Much better than others I have had before, definitely worth the money.

Just search the brand on Amazon. In fact, much better than others I have had before and the price is relatively reasonable.
Why do you even need that with Gorilla Glass?
Since I bought my Nexus 4 like 4 years ago or something I didnt have a single scratch on any phone I had...
