Thanks that solved the problem. Maybe was it something with the deodexed files that went wrong by restoring the deodexed fies

no one want to help by this ?
I'd be really interested in this as well. The TouchWiz UX skin just ruins it for me.
I'm no dev but would like to see the stock launcher too on my tab. But I think we will get ics before this project is finished...
Maybe app manager can help you deodex it and then replace it with the system/app/laumcher.apk

Paranoidandroid JB 4.1 Preview v1.2 Problem!!!

i flashed from several safe options to v.1.2 Paranoidandroid....but it wont go beyond bootscreen...
what am i doing wrong?
went from 1.1 to 1.2,then tried going back to GB with abbyskernel but same old same old...same problem everytime i try to flash v1.2
Which rom were you using before flashing P.A. jelly bean?
How about CM10 ? Can you flash this one ? If so, you can flash PA1.2 over CM10 and clear cache to get it working.
If you can reboot to recovery you are safe but the problem is to flash the ROM the current ROM is not working if you have some other ROM in your memory flash that else simply turn off and take it to service center.

I made a full wipe and dalvik cache... I flashed it 1st time without wipe over p.a 1.1...then it hang at boot and couldn't I get in recovery even, so I went back to GB thru odin.... Now again I am on p.a 1.1 and before I have tried cm10...and that is working... Only p.a v1.2 hangs at bootscreen with yellow triangle.....

[Q] Flash I9305

Hello everybody,
My girlfriend has a I9305. First I thought a I9300, but it's a never version.
I never before flashed this type of Phone. First I want to install omega rom, but they don't have I9305 roms.
Can someone tell me more about these phones, about rooting and the roms?
Which rom need I for an I9305 Netherlands Phone?
Greetz,
Roel

any ROM from HERE
but what version is on it? is 4.3? if yes check status of that knox counter...if is 0 you might want to stay on stock cause of warranty..
if is 1 chose what you like and flash...take care when flashing a recovery...
Well maybe not a custom rom. But what she want is to start from the beginning. There is only one thing; she wants to hold the game data of hayday. I don't know how to do thatm
Titanium backup en backup professionel both don't work

Why you / your girl friend want to root and flash custom ROM?
There is anything your girlfriend don't like on stock firmware?
If no, I don't think it is a good idea to mess with her phone.

Well no, no custom rom. But she wants to start clean, from the beginning. Wipe everything. But it is hayday what we can't backup

Actually, you just need to wipe the cache, and dalvic cache from any of the recoveries, the phone is clean.
For battery drain problem, I think using greenify is the best method to save battery.
I know. But the problem is that she will lost her game data of hayday.

You could try an app called "datasync". You could upload the data of the apps to google drive or sync the data with other device.

How to reset system time back to normal after I change the date to check for updates?

I accidentally set the date 3 months in advance and now I can't check for updates unless I set it for 3 months and 1 day. Is there any way to set it back to normal? I tried resetting cashe, that didn't work.

Yes I do, I can't think of anything that might fix it short of a full restore
