I'm having a hard time figuring this one out.
I am in the market for this new phone but I can't seem to find out exactly what I need.
I am a TMobile subscriber in the US but travel to China about half of the year. I currently have a HTC Sensation that works on the 2100mhz 3g frequency in China with China Unicom. The spec sheet for the HTC one confuses me:
HSPA/WCDMA:
Europe/Asia: 850/900/1900/2100 MHz
GSM/GPRS/EDGE:
850/900/1800/1900 MHz
LTE:
EU: 800/1800/2600 MHz
US (AT&T): 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz
US (TMO): 700/AWS MHz
US (Sprint): 1900 MHz
Asia: 1800/2600 Mhz
If I buy the Tmobile variant, which of these frequencies will the phone come with? I'm guessing I will get the Europe/Asia HSPA/WCDMA bands as well as the GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as the LTE listed for Tmobile but not the other LTE bands.
Is this correct?

I've just bought a AT&T HD7S off ebay from a US seller and I'm in the UK. It's not until just now that I considered how it might perform in the UK. I see that the AT&T HD7S lists HSDPA: 850/1900 MHz as its 3g frequencies, while the UK HD7 lists HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz. Does this mean I won't be able to get 3g signal on UK networks? Does anybody have experience using a AT&T HD7S in the UK?
The HTC Help & How To page lists the following:

I got mine off ebay too (HD7S AT&T), did u manage to get the 3G working ? Please help me. Have you flashed the Euro radio ?

These are the correct specs.... because there's no 2100MHz band for GSM, the 2100MHz is used by CDMA networks.
I'm from U.S. and don't want the AT&T variant, so when I went on Negri to search for a unlocked black one I see the S and N versions. Does anyone know the differences and which one supports LTE on AT&T and possibly T-Mo? I'm having trouble finding unlocked black ones at reasonable prices. And from the T-Mo site, they don't carry black.

thanks. I found really little information on distinguishing differences for these models. I will go forward and try to confirm LTE compatibility with the 801n it seems
I spend half my time in the Miami Florida, and half doing volunteer work in India. I currently use a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and want to upgrade to the HTC One. I prefer to use T-Mobile, selecting the appropriate plan as needed. AT&T is an option as well, but more expensive.
I purchased the HTC One Google Edition, knowing it lacks one of the radios needed for T-Mobile to get 3G, assuming that once T-Mobile gets LTE going, I would be all set. I still have 10 days to return it, if I want.
I want the stock Android, meaning I can either keep this phone, or get a standard T-Mobile HTC One, and learn how to change the firmware. (I know nothing about changing a ROM, other than what I've learned from reading, nor do I know anyone who does that sort of thing. If I did, my question might not be necessary.....)

To me, it's difficult to compare the two, as they are written so differently. It's strange that the T-Mobile specs even list "Sprint" at the bottom.
Anyway, back to my questions.
a) Which of these two phones would be better, for use in both USA (T-Mobile) and India (Vodafone)?
b) If I go with the T-Mobile version, how might I find someone to teach me how to update the ROM to the Google Edition specs?
c) Other than the lack of the radio for T-Mobile 3G, is there anything else lacking in the HTC One Google Edition?

I'm not even sure this is the right forum to be asking - I'm basically when it comes to first grade when it comes to the topics being discussed in this forum. I need to do a LOT of reading here, before I can even ask questions properly.

Where I'm from my carrier sells the HTC one sprint variant the silver/white color.
I'm wonder if I made a mistake buying the black version.
Main question and a little back ground, I bought an HTC thunderbolt a few years ago and I was bummed that I couldn't activate it with my carrier. I am afraid that I won't be able to activate my shiny new black HTC one.
I've asked my carrier what variant the sell, and they told me the sprint branded HTC one.
Do you think I'll have any issues with activation?
Does the black have the SAME exact radios/etc, I am hoping this will be as painless as possible.

It depends which modes your carrier supports and if the phone is sim unlocked or not.
These are the modes the sprint htc one supports.
LTE 1900
WCDMA 1900 / 2100
CDMA 800 / 850 / 1900
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
Verizon version supports LTE 750 instead of 1900

Well ATM I have the first HTC dinc which is from Verizon which made me I can activate the thunderbolt I had purchase, they weren't able to do it.
Im hoping its just an easy set-up, but my carrier does in fact carry the phone.
So as long as specs line up I should be good to go?

Hi guys, i couldn't reach reliable answers about my doubts:
i am from italy and i want to buy an htc one developer edition (a guy sells it near to me) but i can't understand if i will be able to use it without any issue here in italy. i mean, LTE, 3g, H+, calls, messagging, etc.. will everything work fine here?
And plus, i will obviously do some modding, like flash roms, kernels, recovery, mods, etc.. will i have some issue? i read a guy had a problem (RUU 155 error) with this one.
will i have any of these problems?

check your carrier frequencies to confirm but you shouldn't have any issue.
No problem to flash custom stuff to dev edition phone, its a m7_ul so everything for the M7_ul will work. There are also some RUU to restore a dev edition to stock.
