[Q] Clear Pattern Unlock Screen

Back at the time when I was running CM 6.1 on the pattern unlock screen it had the option of hiding the dots that make up the pattern. (so all there was was the time and the message saying draw pattern to unlock). The text could be changed too, it looked nice and added a bit of security as it would be obvious to most people that you had to draw the pattern.
Basically my question is can this be added to normal roms and if so where can I find it.?

Your post title seems different & the question in your post is different...
What do you want to ask exactly?
Pattern Lock is available in all stock roms and you can hide the visible pattern without any tweaking.

On CM6 there was an option to hide the dots. and customise the message
So the unlock screen from the clock downwards was just clear.
I know you can hide the pattern.
I want what is being requested here but wanted to know if it will work with other roms besides CM...

Hmmm, I don't think there is any tweak like that (you're asking) for stock roms.
May b some Mod could help you...

Never mind found the images and swapped them in my framework...

I didn't feel like using meta morph

And just to confirm it works like a charm...

Lockscreen animation

Does anyone know which APK deals with the lockscreen?
Everytime I go through my own debloating ritual on my phone, it always goes away. I know its a minor thing, but its nice to see.

Varelse, did you ever figure this out? My slide to unlock lockscreen disappeared yesterday and I don't know how to get it back.

Problems with shortcuts on lockscreen.. help

i just bough my htc one and root it.. all the roms i been using are working good.. but when i flash any kernel some shortcuts from the lockscreen just desapair. i can add them back on main screen but they are not back on the lock screen.. i remove all of them and place them back.. and no go.. also even changing the lock screen style it wont work..

[Q] Water Ripple Effect

Hi, I was just wondering.Some review sites say that the Mini's lockscreen has the same water ripple effect as the original S3, but I can seem to find where to enable it? All I have is the animation for unlock that looks a bit like from the Tab's swipe lock screen, Honeycomb like animation effect.

It was there in 4.1.1, but with update to 4.1.2 is gone. But it can be easy enable, just look in apps and theme section or use google how to do it

I've been using BenzROM v6 that restores that functionality. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2119219 if you want to look)

this is why there is a search function on these forums
the other thing is that we seem to have a lot of users registering just to post questions that have already been asked and answered

[Q] Lock screen tweak

Hi
I'm looking for the best method of changing the lock screen.
Ideally, not having to replace me ROM.
I am happy to flash additional mods to achieve this though.
What I would like is;
- Remove the dock icons from the lock screen
- Remove the clock and date widget [think part of Sense5]
- Change the method of how to unlock, rather than having to swipe-up the padlock icon, perhaps a long press or something.
Anything out there which allows this?
