In case anyone wants to know. AOKP m1. Franco's kernel. Undervolted by 25 mV. No underclock. Any tips to push it further?
(Note, this also included about 15 to 20 minutes of Miracast.

you should be able to under-volt by more then 25.
give 100 a try

i get that and more daily just clocked 1 day 22 hours ... then phone died from lack of juice

Is that safe for the circuits?

This is the battery life I achieve on my N4 with PAC rom and franco, and im pretty satisfied with 4h screen on time and decent standby drain

UV 150mv on stock clocks, auto brighness indoors (so screen on low setting), wifi.. I get 6-7 hours over a day and half by mostly browsing and light gaming (escape room games etc)
edit.. i do put my phone in airplane mode when i sleep

I get around 16-18 hours standby and 5 hours sot on average. Stock kernel, under volted by 112.5 MV, 15% brightness and using the battery guru app with location turned on
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium HD app

Undervolting is something I'm weary of. I've read about the whole speeding up, slowing down, and how it can negatively effect the circuits. :[

I need to say that I got almost the same results on stock rom only 1 hour difference but it was on 3% not 1% so i guess if i waited i would get to 14 hours
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app

Without underclocking or anything I got over 6 hours screen on time with around 22/23 hours on battery

Please use the existing battery thread

LG Optimus 2X - Battery usage/performance/quadrant scores

Hello there guys,
I'm wondering what roms/launchers etc you are running, what widgets, what your average use of your phone is and how long the battery lasts with all of the junk that you are using.
Ofcourse, this topic will also serve the purpose as to help people with tweaks, ideas for powersaving etc.
I'll start off with my Optimus 2X Speed running on a stock ROM.
I'm using LauncherPro, just because it looked nice.
I've got a blackish sort of background with just the most needed apps on it, such as the games I frequently play, a battery widget, camera etc. Not using the weather gadget btw! As it seemed to eat my battery..
Also monitoring my 3G usage with 3G Watchdog.
--
Recently using Autokiller Memory Optimiser (might have gotten the name wrong..) I'm having around 160-170mb of RAM free, this with a task killer running, 3G Watchdog, Lookout, Battery Widget and Superuser.
Scoring a proper 2450 on Quadrant Benchmark.
My battery lasts around a day with pretty heavy use.
I often take it out to game for a while, an hour a day or so, shoot some pictures, send a lot of 'What'sApp' messages etc.
Charge it up at around 18:00 and have around 25% battery remaining the next day at the same time.
I'd love to hear your experiences, uses, complains, tips etc.
o2x currently running cyanogenmod 7 #111 nightly (2.3.5)
apps: droidwall, juice defender, automatic task killer
battery usage is similar to mafs'
quadrant score 3127 (not OC'd)

was using DJDroid v0.7,it has good battery life, using 1% every 1+ hrs during standby while using juice defender.
the quadrant is only around 2200 to 2400+.
I use cyanogen mod nightly I don't look at benchmarks, but the battery is really better than in stock. I can stay 3 day in idle and when I'm on the internet (with wifi) my battery goes down 10% per hour (a bit too much ).

10%/ hour is quite good, my SGS sucked 20% in an hour.

Poor battery life

My device is not very old. It's about 1 year now and battery isn't as good as it used to be. When I got it after school I had minimum 50% no matter what I've been doing and atm it's 24% which is disturbing.

Check for battery health in 7378423 to see if it had any wear out in battery capacity. Mine is 31460 (1+ year, when buy it is 32000, Sony is always add more to make the battery last longer )
And check for any apps that run out of battery, malware too (There are some Android malware which mine Bitcoin/Litecoin and make phone hot and run out of battery)
Also check your kernel setting or reflash ROM if nessesary.......
Mine is 1,5-2 day battery life with typical behavior.......
Well, my battery says 31440 when at 86% of charge. I haven't got many wake locks in betterbatterystats either so I'm not sure what could be the cause. I'm on stock kernel. Thanks for the heads up on that mining malware. I had no idea it went over to mobile devices. My phone actually gets a bit hot after some regular usage, but nothing out of ordinary I guess. I did lots of mods to the stock rom on my own so I'm not that keen on reflashing. I'd rather find out what could be the cause of that poor battery life and fix it by myself.
Any other suggestions and things to try?
You can reinstall your Firmware, and see if the battery life would be better. And my Wakelocks have i solved with the App DS Battery Saver.
Strangely enogh my battery was at 2880 after only 140 charge cycles.
Then by accidient it deep discharged (problems with not charging, hard reset etc. until it was fully 100% dead) and now is back at 3130 with only the first charge cycle counted as 1.
Not the case here since your's has a good number, but I wanted to add this information.

Heavy use endurance

Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the Sony Xperia Z5's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
I always get a fully day usage with this phone, WiFi and Mobile Data are always on, 2 mails sync every 1 hour, ~10 apps background data, take ~10 pictures and ~5 minutes video recording, ~1,5 hour listening to music.
Pretty decent, I'd love Stamina mode back though.
How can people play those "shut the phuck up and pay the iaps" game like things..
Anyway, a good 3 - 4 hours of ingress and still over half left.
I don't understand why sony annouce 48 hrs in normal use, the phone doesn't reach 36hrs even in sleep with data off, wifi off, screen off

Man I have same problem.
Sent the peace on service, they changed battery, now, after one week, again on service, waiting for resolution, but definitely hardware problem.
It started approximately 2-3 months after I purchased the mobile.

My Pie battery life experience

Before the upgrade I've read many posts about people bragging having twice longer SOT.
So OTA eventually flew in.
After the upgrade I did factory reset and spent few days with just a basic functionality, a little bit of YouTube, email etc.
Surprise #1. I was getting 5-6 hours of SOT. Few days in a row.
So I started installing all my apps.
Surprise #2. My SOT returned back to the same ol' 3hrs of SOT.
Conclusion: do not install any apps and get a decent SOT

Well, it's obvious then that one of your apps is causing the issue. Don't blame the phone

My battery life has been MUCH better on Pie.
Same here, better battery on pie.
I have great SoT on Pie, but my data is off most of the time, i uninstalled quite a few bloat apps using adb (not rooted) and have set most apps to not sync in background, except mail, Instagram, etc. I generally get around 7 hrs SoT with 60 to 70 odd hours between charges.

No change in battery life. It was fine for me (approx. 6hr sot) on Oreo and remains fine on Pie.

As a Motorola users for a long time, this is pretty normal actually. Motorola phones have excellent battery life - way better than iPhones. Iphone users are just over exaggerating that they have good battery. Add to the fact that most of them haven't used a flagship Android device or if they once did, it would most likely be a Samsung.

Auto my dear. If you live with wifi and 4G on, you will never understand those numbers. Start with these first

This is from last night and this morning. Brightness is in between 10 - 30%.
Great
ok thank you
Hi, how much SOT Can do Moto on mobile data? Thanks for rep.
Bluetooth and 4g all the time
from what i see battery life is good on wifi, when using mobile data it's not so good anymore, someone uses two sim cards and only mobile data and could show their battery stats
I got additional 2 hours of battery life when I disabled 5G, excellent.
Personally my phone's battery is so bad. I mean it lasts long enough but it just suddenly turn off at 20 or 18 or so. Other times it acts normally. Sometimes when I charge it, the battery percentage would stay at 100 for hours, then it starts going down and at 40 the phone dies
8hs aprox
