Does s-off and sim-unlock reset after flashing new rom? - HTC Vivid, Raider, Velocity

So I finally S-off'ed my HTC Vivid and then unlocked the sim card. I have a question, will the s-off or sim unlock reset if I flash a new rom?

Awesome, thanks!

I'm considering S-OFF'ing mine. Was it as tricky as it looks?

Well, I'm not sure about that. This is for Korean mobile..
Korean mobile first launched the Vivid(raider or code name:holiday) in October..
Koreans already rooted the Raider/Vivid...

You need a recovery for that and our bootloader is not unlocked yet.

Why? You don't need recovery for a RUU

Scroll down to he part which says s off and follow the instructions but remember that it is recommended that you are on your stock rom.

It's confusing, uhmp last question. Maybe i choose other option to keep my phone s-on. Did you guys have a recommended ROM that can use it without s-off the phone? Thx.

You can use most of the roms without s off the only downside is that every time you install a new Rom you have to flash the boot image separately using fastboot.

Downgrade question

Is there anyway to downgrade to either the 1.29 or 1.31 base with s-on or is there anyway to s-off the HTC One Sprint on 4.3(3.04 base)????

Need help updating phone

Hey! My cousin just got an htc one (second hand) from someone, and it turns out to be an unlocked sprint model. Now the problem is that the software is stuck at 4.1.2 as the firmware option has been replaced by UICC unlock as the phone is unlocked...
The phone itself is rooted and it has s-off
Thanks!

that is the problem, we don't know that :-/
is there anyway i could identify whether it is carrier unlocked?
Since you 're s-off and rooted you can always flash a rom based on newer version with Sprint support.

Unfortunately you will have to use HTC Dev to unlock and root to use rumrunner. I haven't seen any other way but try looking for a way to root without unlocking.

1) The warranty isn't voided by unlocking.
2) You can unlock via HTC Dev then S-OFF using Rumrunner and change everything back to stock if needs be... HTC will never know

They shouldn't but don't take my word for it! I remember reading something like that.
When I had a One X I unlocked it via HTC dev and I could hand it in for warranty. (Wouldn't turn on).
On the other hand rumrunner shouldn't alert HTC that your device has been unlocked.
