Clicking sound when opening apps??? - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Is anyone else hearing a slight clicking sound shortly after they open an app or click on settings or anything like that? It comes from the top speaker and it doesn't sound normal to me. Is this normal or should I go get my new Htc One checked out?

Oh man. I heard this clicking sound earlier today I thought was the top speaker. it ended up me being a retard. squeezing my little hardshell case and it was lifting up the screen protector the slightest bit and slapping it down repeatedly. it counded like clicking or crackling and I was concerned.

Touch sounds checked under setting/sound?

lol, yes it was. After unchecking the weird sound is gone. It just didn't seem like a normal touch tone. There is a delay between the time you click an app and the time you hear a sound. I guess everything is normal now? Im still a little concerned

Controlling Beats setting

Not sure if this is possible but if it is, I don't exactly know how to go about it. I'd like for beats to turn on only when I'm playing sound through the speakers. Not through headphones or through bluetooth. Only speaker. Whether in a phone call or YouTube. I imagine this could maybe be done through Tasker but I don't know how to go about it. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm pretty sure this is not possible. At least not with the stock rom.
Mmm I figured this would be a tough one. If anyone has any ideas, don't hesitate to share

If you download pimpmyrom from the playstore you can install a beats equalizer. It's very similar to dsp manager.
Foolish mortals!

Other HTC roms in the past have had a toggle in the statusbar. Although I found out recently that sound out of the speakers was actually lower with beats on. It did sound deeper but not as loud and it's a pretty noticeable difference. On the other hand it makes headphones louder as you'd expect. I did install the Wildman kernel do I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I didn't turn beats off until after I flashed the kernel.
its possible with Tasker.

Have you done it or know how? I've been trying but am not familiar enough with tasker to figure how to set this up.

[Q] Headphone plugged in => Disable Beats possible?

I would like to know if it is at all possible to disable beats when the headphone is plugged into the jack?
Or is that totally closed source?
thanks.
Settings, scroll down, turn it off.

Well you can't have that at least not on stock ROM. The beats audio feature only adds bit more bass so it's only useful with the headset anyway.

I've been looking for a solution like this for ages now, even the mighty tasker can't automate it. Will probably need to be implemented into a Rom by a custom dev.
For a while I had a tasker setting which would open settings as soon as I plugged in a headset but it got rather annoying

Disabling top speaker

Is there an app out there that will let me do this? Mono sound. My top speaker is getting pretty bad it cracks at half volume.
I have viper4android and have it set to -24db... Which makes everything too quite.

I don't have any issue with the top speaker, however, the issue can be sorted by the flash of viper4android.
Have you tried without the mod?

My speaker is blown. It's not a software problem, which is why I'm asking to disable it completely/lower than the other.

How will you make phone calls if you disable it?

S5 Volume boost via App

I don't know if anyone else has the same feeling about the volume on the S5 but, I find it a little lacking coming from a rooted Note 2 with Viper audio Mod. Trying different apps I found AIMP Volume Booster running it now for a day I was not bombarded by add or anything and I have noticed a significant increase in volume without distortion or crackling. Don't know if anyone care just throwing it out there to help while we wait for good things to happen.
Here's the link for those who are interested

Not cool. Not cool at all. It doesn't "boost" your volume, it just puts everything to the max, no difference in sound. As for not being bombarded with ads, I get an ad every time I click anything in the app. Maybe you posted the wrong link. But other than that, not cool at all man. Not cool.

Thats odd I pulled the link straight from playstore. Still have not received any adds. And as far as max volume goes ive noticed a difference in my opinion and to my ears. Sorry it didnt work out for you as I did not mean for anyone to experience anything bad just an attempt to help those without root like myself a little something.

I downloaded the app. It seems it just raises the volume to the max, as if you couldn't do that manually. So I agree, it does not boost the volume. Just my 2 cents.
