Good man...looks pretty cheap as well...

Got a similar one fitted to mine at the mo (S line type) and it looks great IMO makes the phone nice and grippy and provides good protection from knocks and bumps...

I have the s line atm too on my white version...but the clear part at the make has some funny marks on the back when its pressed against the phone...that's why I'm buying new ones...

This is not a TOTAL transparent case....the edges are BLACK!

you can't impress the ladies without clear edges.

Its alright with the grey but I prefer clear km the edge for my white ones...

I had one of those back when I had an iPhone 3GS. It looked nice for couple of weeks but in the second month the turned from crystal clear to a brownish yellow (the way murky water looks). It looked nasty, but it costed me around 2 bucks, so no complains... So, I hope those in the OP are not of the same material.

TPU case
Talkin' about TPU cases, I'd consider buying something like this (not transparent, but all-black and decent look):

I saw those on eBay and thought about getting one so I have one when it comes out in US next week but not sure how I feel about the cut out for the buttons I have a similar case on my ns4g and the buttons are covered by it but there is push spots for them in the case. With the buttons like they are on note 2 I'm afraid they might get scratched with those openings.

I've been using a tpu case like this and it ended up scratching the chrome bezel of my note. I guess dirt gets trapped in eventually and ends up scratching the phone.

Yeah...I have 2 very small dot scratches...not very visible though....but I'm waiting for my transparent skinomi skin...so hopefully it will solve that problem.
I think transparent cases are the best...especially with white phones

Case with wallet

I've been looking for a hard case that has spots to hold cards and maybe money. I've seen the book style cases but I'm not interested in the added bulk.
Anyone know of a case with wallet stuff on the back?

You're probably better off searching for iphone accessories that so this. I've seen universal card holders that stick to the back of any case but usually sold to pair with iphone cases. If I come across one I'll post it here.

I remember looking for a card case like this when I had the Note I and never could find anything. It seems the Note's extra surface area on the back would be perfect for something like this. Something like the Case-Mate Pop! ID would be ideal for me - space for a credit card and a driver's license.

Yeah, those look good if you want the book or diary style case. What I'm looking for is a "case" style case with storage for a few cards and maybe some cash on the back without the flap. I feel the flap gets in the way and adds bulk that I don't want.

I have been using the Basic Model for 3 months. Very similair to something I made in high school almost 20 yrs ago and have been using ever since I bought this for the back of my Note 2. I have it stuck with the opening towards the speaker. Seems to be holding up ok but the material I use usually lasts me about 2-3 years and this may not last as long as it is made out of what feels like spandex. I will probably just velcro my version onto the back of my phone after this wears out. High school version pictured.

I've used Qmadix for my older Droid line ups and liked them.
I was looking forward to getting one for my Note 2 but the styling was a 180 degree turn.
Having said that, the product did a good job protecting my Droid 3 so the build is most likely there for the product offered for the Note 2. I just don't like the look of them on this go around.

How much is "cheap"? They don't sell them on Amazon, only seems to be directly from the store for $35. Once you get it, can you please post the picture of the front/back and comment on how slippery back of the case is and if there any lip? Really hard to judge by looking at pictures on their website.

Sounds like a good deal, considering it's back to $29 at shopandroid. They also have a very short video of the case. Outer shell looks kind of shiny and front lip hardly noticeable; don't want to jump into any conclusion so let's just wait for your review.
... ps: one of the reviews does state case is very slippery and side grips are not good, as I suspected by looking at it

I tried and it's nice...

I got this one a while back when I got my note and its decent but I dont like the feel of the back. It either feels slick or sticky.

What is an alternate case to the Rugged Defender W/Zero Lemon Battery...
What off Brand ones have people been using?

I don't think anyone is using anything besides the modded defender (or deNfender Chinese knockoff) or the tpu it comes with...
I'm using the tpu with a flygrip and a home made flip cover that I keep improving.
Going to post pics today but don't know if anyone will care. But it works for me! lol

Willing to trade white UAG for..

Anyways, if anyone is interested in swapping, my UAG case has only been on the phone for about 3 days before my black car showed up.

I bought it from ebay. I can't find the seller, below is a link to another one, I paid the same amount.
I did test it out, it did not scratch my phone, even with the screen protector on.

I also had a similar but cheaper bumper before, that one does not have the cut out for the power button and volume rocker, it's also thicker in size. No problem with that one either.

I am not sure since this one is thinner, but I can check it out later when I go home.
I don't really care about that because I used aftermarket backs with the bumper. These backs are usually a little thicker so they protect the lens even if you set it flat.
I live near DC.
