Tethered to the note 2 in the pic. But now I only use it via Bluetooth connectivity. It's amazing how much full sound with bass comes from one small speaker. The sound really fills the room. It sounds really excellent with ambient and acoustic tracks, while it handles full range tracks wonderfully as well. Full volume, and you get no distortion or any hint you're at the speaker's limit. Set me back 63$ at the Sprint store. Box says it plays 5 hours off a charge.

We demo these at my store and they really do sound great for such a small speaker. Usually wows customers, but not enough for them to purcahse it.

Haha I demo myself and within 20 seconds or less I purchased it lol. I love it

Sent from my SPH-L710 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2

that cool but i think whole point is to have it all bundled in the phone with out buying extra stuff but who listens to thier phone on speaker, headphones are the way to go

I have the HTC ONE and as awesome as the built in stereo speakers sound, I'm sure they don't have the punch that speaker has. I think I'd have to go for stereo external speakers not just the one. But he's right, the point of the matter is "built in" stereo speakers... OP is just suggesting an alternative for those who care to give it a try.

Haha that's awesome man! Mission accomplished, at least a person I was able to help and share this little gem

Hahaha! And I picked up the Otterbox f for the S4, I like the one I have on the note 2. But I took the little back cause I know I wouldn't use it now. Also has built in microphone for calls, this thing is heavy f go it it's size and the quality of the drivers warrant that weight

My problem with the Flip is the pin charger. Stupidest design move for a portable device. Has left me high and dry a couple times, and I sold it. Great sound for its size though. It is their only portable model with a pin type charger. I'd get the Charge for the right price. Also read good reviews on Cambridge's Oontz. Similar design style as the Flip. Fairly cheap on amazon, more so if you buy three.

[Q] Best headphones for SGA?

Hey, all.
I'm looking for the best headphones available for under 100$ that are compatible with Samsung Galaxy Ace.
I want to know your opinion on the best headphones.
They can be wired, Bluetooth, but I personally like over-ear, open headphones the most.
Mic is preferred but not necessary.
Also, I wouldn't like genre specific headphones like Beats.
Thanks.
EDIT: Finally settled on these - Skullcandy Hesh 2 (See attachments)

That's the point.
When I showed the Note 2 to one of my friends, and I mentioned how it made everything bigger and easier to read,
one of the first things he said was, 'hmm, so it's easier for everyone around you to read too'.
Food for thought.

Why would you type your password when you are next to someone anyways?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
I have to agree with the other guys.
If you're concerned about passwords and not wanting other people to peak or to spy on you while you're doing stuff, you should have either gone for a smaller sized screen or simply do not perform tasks that are data sensitive. I am experienced when it comes to security, believe me privacy screen or not, if a person with certain skills such as identity theft they just need to memorise finger stroke positioning. I taught myself how to be able to read text being typed by a person on a laptop facing them at a side angle. Granted not everyone can do this. Whar I am saying it's not impossible.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Once again to eachs own lol
I'm not saying I do type in password while I'm surrounded by alot of people or whatever just trying to give out examples to help others understand.
I'm getting it your not when I get it I will give a review and maybe you will change your mind
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
Some people want privacy, period. If you don't care, then fine.
Some people just don't want the people next to them being able to see what they are doing.
It doesn't have to be text, it could easily be pictures.
It could be as simple as wanting to look at pictures of your kids on the subway without worrying that some pervert next to you can watch and see where they live. Or wanting to log onto facebook, and go through a gallery without the person sitting next to you asking, 'hey, who is that?'
If I could get a case that had privacy protection, I could easily see using it every now and then.
I'm not going to apply a screen protector that I can't easily remove, however - that's overkill.

NOTE: Sorry guys. I've been really busy at work so the quality of articles/videos is suffering I know...
The much anticipated Google Wireless Charging Orb is now available for purchase (model LG WCP-400). It costs $59.99 plus shipping and is available on the Google Play store.
The power supply outputs 5V at 1.8 amps. Output to the device being charged is 1 amp.
You can easily adapt this for use in a vehicle. Check out my install...
With it's magnetic base, it seems like a good choice for any QI enabled device. It worked with no problems on our Galaxy Note 2.

Did you have to do anything special to the phone, to get it to charge wirelessly? Just wondering so I can go ahead and order that charger. And I'm wondering if you put that in a NOTE 2 charger you'll get 2.1 amps out. Which is not that much more then the 1.8 you spoke of.

Pretty sure QI chargers create an electromagnetic field.
If you just have the receiver pad out, it will try to center itself up to the electromagnetic field in any of the chargers.

I was thinking of putting mine up on the dash just because my car pretty much has a perfect spot for it, do you think it would fall off if I took some hard corners? I just don't want my phone to go flying when I find some nice backroads, especially when I have a window open....

What do you drive? Under heavy breaking it would most likely fall off. Probably not rated as one of the safest things to do.

Recycled Phone Case

Hey guys, I took your advice and tried to make my own phone case out of recycled paper, it's still a beta but feel free to give me suggestions about how to make it stronger or make it fit the phone better. This is attempt number 8 and took 3 days to make. I have plenty ideas about how to decorate it and will be making more. If anyone here actually knows someone that produces cases cwn you please tell me about them because even if my cases are a failure, I still have good ideas about design, Thanks!!!
Edit: I made it more secure by adding another layer on the back and on the front. I also added a ring around the front so you can just hold the phone by the case and the phone won't fall out. Pictures are coming shortly after I decorate the back.
Edit: I finished decorating and now the pictures are being uploaded. If anyone wants a case made just pm me. This is beta 10.
Edit: Ok guys, the last case was a bit dull I'll admit that, so for the first "stable" it's going to be bright and funky, so keep your eyes peeled!!!
Edit: Ok guys, stable 1 "starburst" is officially complete, look for the colorful pictures below!!!
Edit: As a request I made a case with bubble wrap, it went pretty well but it's prone to bursting when dropped, going to do drop tests with it on with my actual phone inside, stay tuned and don't forget to rate the thread and subscribe!!!
Here's the drop test video, if you want more just ask.

My friends want to buy the starburst one but I guess that doesn't float you boat if you're not colorful so why don't you toss a few ideas my way and share this page with your friends!! Thinking of making a charity case that costs a little extra but most of the profits go to charity if not all. Other than that you're buying a case to support me by buying me more supplies and hopefully a new phone to make cases for.

Well um, it took me roughly two and a half hours to make it and I'm 14, why do you ask? And on a different topic, I think I found a way to make the outer shell hard so I'll be making another one soon

Hey guys, I accidentally uploaded the video to the wrong channel, can I move it to another without losing views and likes and subscribers? Thanks.

Blew top speaker

Well the other day i noticed the sound coming from phone was real distorted and statically. Sure enough the top speaker is blown. It sounds like crap. Wish it was the bottom bc i dont only hear it during music but also when talking on phone. I dont have insurance but wish HTC had more local service centers so i didnt have to go 2 weeks without my phone

Good stuff. I've heard distortion before, but I haven't blown the speaker. Either way, I'm pretty sure they'll need to replace it since taking the thing apart for repair is next to impossible.

Sad but true.
I busted my speaker and filed a claim. It took Asurion sending me FIVE different phones before I settled on one. Most of the garbage they sent me had a terrible, yellow, dark and dull display. Some had other issues. Just give your replacement a good comb over.
HTC, at least for me, has had a terrible record with blown speakers. I've owned the Hero, EVO, EVO 3D, EVO LTE and now the One. The only speakers that DIDN'T bust were on the Hero and 3D. Either way, good luck to ya
I don't know if this is a common issue but it happened to me, twice. I'm on my 3rd HTC one. Both phones before my current, had a blown top speaker. Got a brand new replacement both times.

They have been doing that crap for years. Back when the HTC touch was around, my father in law had to make a claim and have 4 phones sent. They often send refurbished units which of course were fixed with cheaper displays.

Lol thats funny. But i dont max the volume alot. Im either on my jaybird freedoms or beats pill. But besides that one of the selling points is the front speakers and boom sound. Why shouldnt you be able to max them

I thought it was weird the sprint technician never even bothered to open the phone up and look at the speaker. He ordered another phone on the spot. Is phone really that difficult to take apart and service

Yes. Take a look at iFixit's review just to see.

I agree 100%
I think they lowered the volume in the newest update because of this
