Hello i just bought LG p970h, it was using Android froyo 2.2, so i tried to Udapt the firmware with LG suite and thene i got 2.3.4 gingerbread, but after that i cant have ICS 4.0.4.... so i'm wondering if there are o way to have The stock ROM with LG suite for my LG or i need to do it manuelly. Thanks?

Use LG updater. Unlock, update with LG with your carrier rom by imei. Then bb is normal without secuirity stuff and flash normal p990 BB. Then as always root/cwm.

you can flash with any rom open p990 without problem.
is not necessary to flash specificaly with p990h .
Hey! I wanted to update my lg optimus black to ics with the rom v30g the official update for lg optimus black, but the question is how can i root it if im in ics now?
If you have KU5900 and it is not rooted, flash the kdz of 30g(or bin, fls via smartflashtool)
if you are rooted and have cwm, flash the rom in development section...the KU5900 ICS rom. Its rooted.
If you have LG P970, you cannot flash kdz of KU5900 directly. You have to go to development section assuming you already have cwm, flash the KU5900 rom.
If you are talking about v30B france, you can flash it via smartflashtool or kdzupdater and root it with unlockroot.

in short, no. There are small differences in the code and all themes and roms have to be ported.
I was busy at cllege but I noticed that there was a version of jelly bean for LG P880, is it the official firmware(v20a or any other,specify which one is) and OS update? how good is it? any problem with? I was thinking on updating to V10H Euro Open for avoiding heatsink provlems but...I saw this update I want to know
