Steve Kondik just said on Google+ the Sprint S4 getting CM support "soon" - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 General

Sounds good. I will have my S4 next week.

cm10.1 is already booting and works pretty well

Well the us versions of the phone are about exactly the same across all carriers that's why

Except the bootloaders are locked on at&t and probably will be on Verizon but at least Sprint and T-MOBILE are good.

Verizon will be on lock for sure, they locked the S3. Thank god for them African Canadian Sock Monkeys!

AT&T bootloader has already been hacked but the dev is not releasing until the Verizon version comes out in hopes that they won't fix the exploit he is using.

On cm will the ir sensor and all the gesture sensors still work?

Chances are that they will not at least at first.

I think this might not be a Sprint thing, but instead a Google Wallet app issue. Might be because the phone is so new and may not have passed testing yet. I would expect an update to fix this soon.

I hope so. IMO I think its a nice feature. I've used it on my Nexus7 but it just feels weird using it for purchases because its a tablet. I just want to see the wtf expressions on people's faces.

And i can confirm that it is a sprint side issue not phone. Sprint doesnt officially support wallet..

It's funny you say that. Every time I go into a 7-Eleven or McDonald's, I whip out my phone and pay with Google Wallet, and every single time the person behind the counter is like, "What'd you just do? Did you just pay with your phone? How'd you do that? Yaddie Yaddie Ya"
Blowing people's mind...
Ya, its worked fine on my evo lte and s3 forever. Sprint does not block it so I'm sure a simple build.prop edit would get it working until they get the device supported

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
sure hope a support is granted fairly soon. i used google wallet all the time with evo lte and i'm missing it quite a bit. according to a sprint rep i spoke with prior to purchasing the htc one, it will be supported so it's only a matter of time.
if not within a timely fashion, i guess a mod to the build.prop should suffice. i remember doing this when the evo lte wasn't officially supported.

Google wallet

So I downloaded Google wallet from the market and it says my device is not supported. Does anyone know if it's supposed to work? I'm on sprint by the way. thanks.

The HTC One on Sprint should be supported soon, if its not already, considering Sprint and Google worked pretty closely to get Google Wallet up and running, as well as the fact that Sprint is the only supporter of Google Wallet in the US.
I'm surprised I haven't seen more people complain about this not working.

I have a Developer Edition and I can't either. That's annoying considering I got it to avoid At&t shenanigans.

No offense or anything but a little research and you would see that the radios are completely incompatible for starters sprint and Verizon or CDMA based where as at&t and the rest of the post paid carriers are gsm based.

I got ripped off on Craigslist too! lol I bought a Galaxy Nexus that should've been able to be activated only to find out that I couldn't because she didn't pay her Sprint bill. She never got back to me, so I put up an ad with a free Samsung HD TV and put her number on it

This is why everyone should always meet at a carrier store or call the carrier to make sure activation can happen when purchasing a used device. Good lesson for others to learn from if not familiar with dealing on CL. Hopefully she is getting back a little of what she deserves for swindling.
I've seen worse. But yes some people scamming or just plain stupid. Irks me.

To most people they think that they will go get a straight talk sim and it will work. This idiot puts up a fancy add that will help sell the phone. The way I look at it is that if there is not a full guide or documentation on xda its not possible! The question is are you ready for that "earlie" upgrade? lol!!

I'd say "not high." The HTC One wasn't supposed to be unlockable with their Dev site on att but it was. Maybe this will slip through the cracks.

As with previous HTC devices, they are unlockable on HTC Dev until a day or two before street date. The AT&T and Verizon models will be locked, and will have a Developer Edition. This was already confirmed by Mr. Punit on Google+.
