1-will your app/mod (...v.14)solve the unwanted volume normalizer while listening to full-bass songs?i mean sudden breakdown of sound level just when the drum blows it up.has everybody experienced this ever? i hate it and would apprciate any solutions ..
2-i myself would preffer stock sony sound enhancement over Dsp ,how sombody would deny that?its amazing indead.

[Q] change sound volume "range"

Hey Guys!
Is there a possibility to change the range for the volume?
So that I can make sound louder/quiter than it would be possible normally.
My IncS IS rooted, so I have permissions to change something!
There are a few apps for it in PlayStore, just search "volume"
I tried a bunch of them, all crap, except dspmanager found around here somewhere. I got a slight increase of the volume and bass and ****, but sadly nowhere near what I wanted.
Strange that it is so hard to tweak this feature on this phone, on my Sensation dsp nearly blasted my eardrums and the siyahkernel works miracle on my galaxy s3 gt-i9300 ...

Thx for the answers!
I know DSPManager and all the other apps already...
DSPManager is the best of them, in sound increasing and eq, bass, ..., but its effect isn't really big, when you want to increase volume very much, like Huppen said...
Would it be possible (and more or less easy ), to look in the CyanogenMod repo after DSPManager source and write a own small app? App developing itself isn't that hard and the only 'big' thing is the increasing/decreasing of sound over/under the limits...

AC!D SOUND MOD for 4.2.2 ROMS?

I am trying and searching AC!D SOUND MOD for 4.2.2 ROMs but didnt satisfied my quest...
I would like to know if we have a AC!D SOUND MOD that works that has :
SOUNDEFFECT for me to ACTIVATE the DYNAMIC NORMALIZER OPTION...

ALL I WANT IS DYNAMIC NORMALIZER for my low music sound to louden up a bit just like the loudness of the other songs... (Normalizing all loudness differences)
BEFORE POSTING THIS I have tried some ac!d sound mod (various v7 and v5 for many range of devices) but no luck..

Hope YOU can help me..:beer:
So this is what i did...
DOWNLOADED AC!D SOUND MOD V5.... PLUS NOOZXOIDE ADDON... AC!D WALKMAN ENGINE FROM V7...

This is a simple Sound Mod For All Xperia Z2 Devices
What is Does ?
It will enable both speakers for Notification and Ringtone sounds
By doing this we are getting Louder Sounds for Notification and Ringtone
This Mod Is based on Xperia Z2 4.4.4_23.0.1.A.0.167 Firmware.
The system file in 4.4.4_167 firmware is different from older released firmwares so do not try those sound mods that are based on older firmwares
1-Rooted device needed
2-Flash through recovery

People like me who carry Z2 in leather pouch in their pocket will have many missed calls in future

I am working on Loud volume it will be released soon.....
I enable X-loud in 4.4.4-167 firmware but when we turn On/Off it is not taking the effect
The Sound levels are same even with X-Loud on. And Song Quality is noisy. May be that's why Sony Disable X-Loud in this release
i flashed it.
no problem
thank you.
Working on ....
1- X-Loud
2- Clear Phase
3- Clear stereo
4- DSP Manager
5- Louder Speaker
For Xperia Z2 based on 4.4.4-167 will be released soon
i am feeling like getting notification from earpiece only, even after applying this patch. Very Very Low.. waiting for a fix dude..

Gửi từ D6503 của tôi bằng cách sử dụng Tapatalk
So...if I want just to enable both speakers for notif and call sounds, without xloud I should use v1?
Versiion 2 works perfekt....

Errors in v2.0
1- Audio settings (X-Loud, Clear Phase, Clear stereo, Dynamic normaliser ) Auto off after reboot the device.
So you have to enable them again after every reboot

Hope you can find a solution on that soon, ty
@zohaib0001 Please add this to OP
To make xLoud stick every reboot you just need to go to system/vendor/etc and delete effect_init_params and reboot your phone. Xloud and clear phase will not be deactivated anymore
Rename or Deleting system/vendor/etc" this file "effect_init_params"
All saved.....

@dyepnoodle
Thanks for the Solution
i Fixed it and updated v2.0 link available
Even with the new V2 installed, its still quite quiet. The sound is so much louder in the sound picker for Hangouts and WhatsApp.
So, does this thing actually work? Sound problems are gone finally?
I'd say no, but I haven't tried headphones or anything else. I just want notifications louder!

i agree with you, the notification sounds are still so quiet even after installing v2 fix..
i reflashed new full ftf and checked too, still the same problem exist,
notification sound low issue is still there. facebook messenger, whatsapp, viber sounds are damn horrible, too too low.
V3 notification sounds & ringtones loud enough :thumbup:

[Q] Music effects

Hi there, i have one "major" problem, when i install noozxoide and when i want to switch on it -->settings, sound, music effects i get force close every time, so is there any way to use different sound enhancement then xperia stock one? because sound in headphones is not really good, my old phone is way louder with nooz and with cleaner sound then my E1 with all this walkman enhancements
You can use Viper4Android when your device is rooted
