Hello guys im new here so i dont know if this is a double thread or not, just checked and couldnt find similar thread here. So ive noticed that there is some kind of noise when recording (at least with the stock cam app) and ive seen some sample videos on youtube having this issue too. Is there a way to fix that noise? Hi,
I have a problem, the sound while recording video is very low.
the "Record with Audio" option is set, so, looks like the hands free sound record type is not active while recording videos.
A hard reset doesn´t help. do you know if there is some king of tweak to solve this problem?

I think that the problem is that the microphone is facing you not the objective.

i am experiencing the same problem. it was 2 months ago i recorded a video in concert and the bass problem identically the same. i have no idea what can be done.
Hey guys did anyone noticed each Instagram videos have different sound. Am pretty sure its a bug. Let me know if there is any solution. I just have to adjust sound for each video.
Hello people, I have my mi9 since 3 days and I really love it. It's a great phone, but today I found wierd bug in camera app. I recorded with 1080p 30fps with stabilization on. After few seconds of recording phone freezes, but audio recording is still going, after a while it resumes. Video like that is kinda unusable. What's more when I'm in camera app on video tab sometimes it freezes just on viewport, without even recording. Does anyone have similar issues? Any help would be appreciated.

This may be too late, but I had similar problems with the camera app freezing when image stabilization was enabled at 30fps. In the end I discovered that some sensors were not functioning at all (gyro, magnetic, light and compass); My guess is that at least first two feed info to the stabilization algorythm.
I managed in the end to solve the problem by flashing a xiaomi eu rom from twrp.
although i bought this phone mainly for its photographic capabilities i also want to have the ability to use it's video recording..
and i can not....
i am getting a crackling sound every time i try to record a video..
i restarted the phone , i turned Wi-FI off (saw a video claiming that on some smartphone the wifi antenna messes up with sensors etc.. ) ,
changed resolution settings from 4K HDR to 4K to 1080 HDR and 1080 18:9 ..
it can happen in the 15th second , or in the 2nd , and hell some times i hear this sound even BEFORE i press the record button..
when i choose the video option i can hear something mechanical like the shutter or the video camera module getting " prepared" to record? no idea..
i tried with different apps like camera zoom FX or some other similar apps and it does the same sound..
anyone else facing or had that before? i haven't record that many vids on N9 but from the 10 i have , 6 of them have this issue...

I've got mine last week, it made this crackle/clicking sound since day one and I've already scheduled a repair!
just wanted to write an update to anyone that is or will face similar issues..my phone was swapped by Nokia's Care Center.... so i got a new N9PV
