Hello everyone, Its been just two days since I brought my brand new Xperia TX from Sony Showroom.
Problem is, I cannot download Gameloft HD games like, Modern Combat 3 or 4, N.O.V.A 2 or 3 or 4. Saying that my device is unsupported. My very cheap Local Walton(only 1 GHZ 1 core and 512 RAM) Android Mobile supports all of the mentioned games.
Though I played and finished Modern Combat 3, which was downloaded form torrent with SD data.
Why my Xperia TX is not supported, Its a Play Station certified mobie. :crying:
I seem to remember a very similar thread to this one.
It ay be in the Q&A section, you should search for it and post in there.
Or, you can realise the other thread was started by you and that there is no need to start a new thread for the same issue
You can follow the advice I gave to you in the other thread. Email the app developer and ask for support
I just checked the PLay store for all those titles and all where available and registered compatible with my Xperia T.
Possibly not available in your region? Or they havent distinguished between T and TX when listing compatibilities.
Only thing you can do is raise it with the developers and ask them to investigate. At the end of the day they are the ones losing your custom to torrents when you are more than willing to pay for the games but can't.

I'm really for the two same posts. I truely love my Xperia TX and I never want to sell it. I brought this mobile specially for gaming. If the problem continues then I guess I have to sell it :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

What does Play store say when you try to install these games? If not visable on the device what does it say through the web store?: https://play.google.com/store/apps

When I go to play store and open apps like modern combat 3, In device comparability syas- taht Sony LT29i not supported. :crying:

Sounds then like gameloft are not distinguishing correctly between T and TX you will need to contact them directly. Should be details on contacting them on the item pages.

OK, you have been given the same advice now twice in this thread and once in the other thread you created about this.
Have you actually followed through and done it yet?
So for the fourth time, email the developer and ask them to add support for your phone.

Do what gregbradley mentioned above. In case of App incompatibility the best the thing to do, is to inform the developer, wait and see what they reply.

hi bro , i have Xperia TX too and facing the same issue , it says on google store that my device is not compaitable :S , tried to go to gameloft website and there are only 3 HD games for the TX and it doesn't include modern combat 4 or NOVA 3.
i used to have xperia arc s and all this games were available there ,
did u find a solution ?
You can edit your build.prop and change model to Xperia Z,C6603.

You can still use the "SD Data" method to play any kind of HD games. I played Modern Combat 3 & 4, N.O.V.A, NFS MW and other HD games in my Xperia TX by Installing apk and copping SD Data.

How about the heating issue? Do you fell that TX's screen gets too much hot when playing HD games?
I didn't faced any problem yet, but I'm tensed about this heating issue. Cuz it may harm the screen or SD Card as I saw many toasted?broken SD Card issue in many forums.

Gameloft has a buy one get this week. Just got sipder-man and got nova free. Spider-man and Nova have also been added to the gameloft xoom support list as well.

that is nice, but even so until they drastically change their policies regarding costumer rights and let them install their rightfully buyed games any time and into their current and future devices (specially thos forum's users, who reinstall their devices a lot and test bleeding edge stuff...), there's no point giving them any money...

So tried the 2 for 1 code...got my games which had to be sideloaded? (how does one get updates??)
Went to play Nova and it crashed! Second game wouldnt even load, said I didnt have permission for this game?
I would steer away for now...it may just be a 3.1 compatibility issue...but still.

You download the apk which can be installed at all time on the device, and yes i do think the 3.1 update broke something with the game. I didn't have problems before the update.
same crash issue with me on stock wifi xoom 3.1 both nova and Spiderman force close

they have another proprietary drm system that links your purchase with the device you installed the apk. lots of users upgraded their phones nd could not install the game they purchased on the new devices... just beware.

This company has its head so far up its own butt, I wouldn't buy anything from them ever again. I had a horrible experience, got a refund. Don't buy!
I like the title of the thread... sounds like you normally don't get one, when you buy one game...

Download Chainfire3D from the market. Its a 3d driver that will help in playing the games. It will also allow you to play tegra 2 titles etc. Works great fro HD2 and Galaxy Tab and the dev is also a member here

Only first level is working. second level is again hanging. and some other gameloft games are also not working.

i have backbreaker 2 from the market and it works perfectly without using any thing , if you talking about the other one , then u have to do what the theatheist told u

1. buy it on a device you can with the account you normally use.
2. sideload the apk, and it will still find you having purchased the game in Play store
(i hope, not actually tested it)
I can't, because the P880 is the only Android device I have that is (at least technically) compatible with the game.
I think there is also some cracked version, but I prefer to have a clean copy from the Play Store.

login on play.google.com, see if your previous android device was good with this game, then purchase it? of course that can be a problem getting the sideloaded apk you need here. and you are right the cracked edition will probably not check with play if you got a purchased edition

Actually you cant. even older versions like ghost of sparta and chain of olympus gives low fps rates and not playable at all. sorry

nope you cant play ps3 games on your xperia z you can only play some psp god of war such as ghost of sparta or chain of olympus using the psp it is emu still has much bug so it will lag

god of war ascension is a ps3 games
I'm using Xiaomi mi3,
i just downloaded game through torrent (namely Gangster Vegas and Gangster rio).
Now my problem is that game starts,
then shows up Gameloft logo
and finally it shows FC.
My question is :
Is there any problem with Xiaomi mi3
Is there any problem with my phone only
Or the problem is from the game developer or game cracker or something else?????????????????????

Well to start off with, without any logs who can tell? There is no way of telling what it is doing to your device without logs. We could both be using the same app from the same source and it works for one but not the other. This is where troubleshooting 101 comes in and get a logcat.
