[KERNEL][STOCK][OTA]Sprint ONE Kernel From 5-16 1.29.651.10 OTA - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Hi guys! This is an unmodified Stock Kernel Pulled from the OTA by Damage_Them with instructions from several well known devs here.
I am simply posting it as it FIXES THE HOME AND BACK TOUCH BUTTONS.
Please enjoy. You are more than welcome to look through the .zip and make sure you are comfortable flashing it.
I have flashed it several times with no issue. The updater script is a modified version (only UI messages are different) of the one Thicklizard supplies in his kernel releases.
No one mentioned, including myself, is responsible for any damage to your device.
Altthough I am perfectly sure this zip is safe:
FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK
Thank you
Ok, added the necessary files to fix the camera. Tested on Badseed RLS 2 and everything seems to be working.
Be sure to wipe cache/dalvik-cache.
Make sure to update your Profile and PRL.
Your kernel should read 3.4.10-g3adc80e

Oh my god, the home and back buttons are instantly more noticeably sensitive.
I never had much issue before, but then I put on a screen protector and noticed how bad they were sometimes.
I don't know it I want to go back to a custom kernel now....

Hahaha I was thinking the same thing about the custom kernels, I definitely noticed a difference after adding a screen protector but this seems to have fixed it!

Anyone else having this problem on any other Rom? Please let me know if so.
I was actually on Badseed RLS1 when I tested this. There may be a conflict on RLS2.
The Badseed crew is BadASS and after flashing RLS2, my home and back buttons seem to be working just fine, so I am running the kernel that came with it.
Maybe they incorporated something in the ROM already?

Camera is borked with the kernel. Not sure what's up but will keep an eye around the forums over the next few days. I'm sure one of our stellar devs will figure it out.
Thanks for posting up anyway.

Ok, added the necessary files to fix the camera. Tested on Badseed RLS 2 and everything seems to be working.

Your kernel should read 3.4.10-g3adc80e and your Back and Home buttons should be much more responsive.

[DEV][ROM] schiznik's ICS w/ my kernel [WIFI/DATA][v2]

Okay, schiznik has compiled AOSP for the wildfire from source, but he didn't get touchscreen to work, it is kernel related.
[v2] Added idc file for synaptics touchscreen devices
[v2] Enabled JIT
[v2] More build.prop tweaks for people experiencing problems with data and 3G.
For problems with sound and microphone, this is lib related most likely, and the drivers can be modified but most likely do not need to be.
Maybe the sound libraries and the microphone libraries need to be edited a bit then recompiled. Sadly I have no experience in compiling libraries.
Download the ROM (flash it in recovery): http://www.multiupload.com/IAPABV6DVX
Download v2 (flash over the first version, this is needed): http://www.multiupload.com/LHIU9E3F0V
MAKE SURE YOU WIPE DATA/CACHE FIRST.
Feedback needed, what does, and what doesn't work?
This is mostly the work of schiznik, he deserves all the credit, I only fixed the touchscreen.
Still, any thanks are appreciated

We added modified wifi module to our galaxy tab rom and guess what?

I would be ROM developing for the play, but getting the touchpads (analog sticks) working on any rom is murder, even team freexperia who were assisted by Sony didn't manage to get it working properly, and only minecraft works on it IIRC.
Still, this was easy to do for me, schiznik did the hard part.

Does the touchscreen work?
if yes, does Wifi work (turn on)?
Then you can test other stuff like bluetooth.

What's improved over regular CM9?
Includes tweaks for performance, once you flash it you will see.
EDIT:

Does it work on the XT860?
What version of Android is it based out of?
What are the problems and bugs, does the camera and data work?

Any theming coming/there?
There is not enough theming for anyone to tell, but I may add more theming depends on how popular this ROM is and how many people want theming. I will defiantly be adding a dark keyboard though.

What did you install through? Also what system apps force close? The freeze up is more of a Droid 3 Kexec issue, but apps shouldn't be FC. Didn't experience that issue, been running great for me.

Don't flash gapps, they aren't needed, already have market on there. I might of removed the theme apk by accident, I'll see about adding it back if I did. The battery does die quickly on this, I"m gonna add a battery tweak in next version as well, hopefully it helps some.

Rom seems to work fine. Installed gapps, they seemed to work fine as well.
Two Issues:
1. This is funny but swiping left (towards the camera), will reboot the phone, since there is no camera app.
2. Calender app is missing.

CM10 test build

Hi all,
I'm a vivow user and thought I'd post a CM10 build for vivo since I didn't see one over here.
It's using my hacked up gb kernel source here: https://github.com/aeroevan/htc-kernel-msm7x30/tree/android-msm-2.6.35-ics-aeroevan so hopefully it boots
I don't have a vivo, so I can't really test so if someone could let me know if it boots I'd appreciate it!
Also, it probably has all of the bugs my CM10 build for vivow has (no FFC or camcorder and probably some other stuff).

It sounds like there may be a small RIL issue, but I don't think anyone has tried the build.prop edit I posted earlier.
Just tested
Works fine, nice and smooth
Camera works, images arent as nice as sense i think
Panorama mode (is that what it is? Ive never used aosp camera app before) causes screen to flicker
Camcorder mode freezes for a second when you press record, and as far as I know, nothing is actually recorded
Mobile network doesnt work, i have a locked sim and it never prompted me to unlock, even after airplane on and off
wifi works
flashing gapps now to do further testing
edit: will also try build.prop edit
edit2: wifi signal seems to be worse, not sure

[DEV] Porting (any) HTC One ROMs to Sprint | v4 - [MAY 18]

Sharing with the HTC One community...
required files to make HTC One roms work on Sprint.
Why is this important?
1: Sprint devs can port features from “the other One” as new updates are released for them (JB 4.2.2 anyone?). Better camera, audio, battery, performance were included in the latest update (1.29.401.13) for the One UK.
2: One devs can add Sprint as a supported device when they release their awesome roms. So go tell your favorite One developer about this thread...

How does it work?
DEVs will know what to do by looking at the file list provided and downloading the actual required files taken from the Stock Sprint ROM. It’s mostly replacing, deleting, and changing the scripts. If you’re not a rom developer, you shouldn’t try porting. I’m not responsible for what you do to your device.

How did you do it?
Mostly previous knowledge of what files do and trial/error. The spreadsheet helped keeping track of changes and what worked and what didn’t. Hundreds of changes, uploads and installs.

Does it really work?
Yes, but since each rom is different (not really) it will depend on the port and base used. I ported 2 roms and they both work perfectly. Right now I’m running my own version of TrickDroid. Not a single FC and everything works (although I don’t have LTE to test) and logcat looks good. It’s important to note the base version. These files are from stock Sprint 1.29.651.7 and they work with GSM One 1.29.401.13. Newer releases may not work. I’ll try to update the files as they do.

Credits
I only modified a few config/script files... didn't touch any core files (libs, jars, etc..). So props goes to viperboy that provided the Sprint One Stock and to Tyzing that helped me with the idea, updating the list and testing.

LINKS
List of files required (spreadsheet): http://goo.gl/qElY1

I really hope this helps some of the dev's be able to bring more goodies to Sprint's ONE.

You don't actually "have" to delete any files... I just tested with the Stock One_1.29.401.13 and it works without deleting. I also thought about a script to automatically make any rom work on sprint but it got complicated and I would've have to support lots of people doing bad things to their phones. Better let the devs install the sprint files on their roms and test it out first.
This is great information to have! Thanks for the work
Hopefully this will make it so we can have some of the .13 camera fixes over on Sprint.

It does... I have all the fixes contained on TrickDroid 5.3.0... camera works perfectly... though i didn't use it too much before to notice any difference.

I saw that the TrickDroid dev is working on making their ROM compatible with Sprint. They noted that Sprint is still not working fully in 5.3.0, though. Not to go too off topic, but did you implement the changes yourself and that's why it works? Just curious! Thanks.
So can we have your port for our phone? Thanks

Ok. So can I have it? Does it use stock kernel and what kernel can we flash with it? Sprint? Or other variant? This would be a goodquestion to answer before someone gets their azz in trouble.

??? Not sure if you can have it or not as I do not have the port nor part of it. I've been following the thread and was thinking I would like to try the same port and was surprised no one asked yet. So... Sorry I can not help you.

Did a superwipe...installed ViperOne v1.1.0 and then installed the dialer. Everything worked correctly. I suggest trying to install the package again.

Well, it works just fine for me, just a green answer button on the lockscreen. It all flashed just fine. Thanks.

Yah it shouldn't be green. It is blue. Not sure what happened on your end. I can mod the actual lock screen apk if you want to try that.

Ok...I've updated all the APKs and included them in the install package instead of trying to insert them into your existing system files. Let me know if this works. Make a backup first as I have not had a chance to test this install.

I download the file in Post #17. I did it through Tapatalk if that matters. I'll download it now on my PC to see if it shows up in your counter.
