[Q] Why I can't use face unlock ? - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have already enabled Face Unlock, but the screen lock is still Pattern Lock. Is this a bug ?
Additionally, When the screen is locked, I still can see the Home button and Back button, they shouldn't appear on unlock screen.
Anyone who knows why ?

Thanks for your reply, and I have resolved this issue. The root cause is I installed SmartKey app. After uninstalled the SmartKey app, the Face Unlock is useable, the home and back button disappeared on unlock screen.

I have pressed twice on the power button after dragging the camera for the unlock works.
can you get directly from the camera before unlock pin code or pattern?
I am doing research but I have not found anything wrong or tried!!
Thank you in advance for your help

Can't unlock the phone after upgrading to Marshmallow from Lollipop

Need some help guys,
I just manually flashed an upgrade from Lollipop to Marshmallow MRA58K on my project fi phone. I had a pattern unlock set up on my phone. When I put in the pattern nothing happens. The background goes back to the lock screen with the time and notifications hidden. Phone does not even tell me if my pattern is incorrect. Nothing happens!
I guess I can factory reset the phone but I want to avoid that if possible. I tried locking the phone using Android device manager to replace the lock screen, but it won't let me replace the lock screen because there is a lock screen already set up on my phone.
Any ideas?? If I can avoid a factory reset that would be best!
things I'd do:
reboot
open camera from lockscreen
click a notification prompting unlock code
clear cache in recovery
try reflashing the MRA58K system.img
Thanks for the reply. I think I've done most of them. Will retry flashing the MRA58K system image tonight.
Well that did the trick.
Thanks for your help

Note 9 FRP Locked and cannot go into Recovery Mode

Hi Team
I have the Note 9 SM-N960F from australia , I am not able to put into recovery mode and neither I can flash it to any ROM, please help me to find the solution for this . It boots to FRP locked enabled Binary thing. Please assist .
OEM LOCK ON
FRP LOCK ON
Please please please help me .
On a locked device, you can't install any other ROM, than stock update.
To remove FRP:
First, you need to open the Settings menu and remove the screen lock security feature.
In the same menu find the Accounts option and Google account you are logging in on your device with, and remove it. On some phones, the removal option might be hidden behind the three dots in the top right corner of the screen. If you have a few active accounts, make sure that you remove them one by one until none is left.
Next thing to do is an OEM unlock. Before flashing, read carefully the Instructions and be sure to flash the right versions. Otherwise you may brick your device...

the problem is that its not going to settings as well. It just restarts to the red message that says binary lock
You need to flash stock firmware with same CSC.
