Hmm, im thinking of buying this device now... this CM was released after sony's aosp release on github or before?
@FXP: how much costs a bottle of your favourite beer in USD ?

I managed to succesfully fastboot boot boot.img (it was "OKAY" in command prompt).
Now, I don't know how to enter recovery, what are key combination to press. etc.

Hi I got the same issue. Boot.img has been flashed, but I can't get any bootlogo, or even screen activity. Might be my most expensive brick bought ... ever
I'm still able to boot into flashmode and Fastboot mode. Unfortunately I cant flash a proper, original ROM using the flashtool.
I really hope I overlooked something really stupid, could someone point me to to a solution?
Thanks in advance!

i doubt it's a brick

Thanks for your fast reply! I got the wifi version (32GB). I'm downloading the AOKP version, hoping that helps. Gonna take me about 10 min, but I'll be joining freenode in the mean while.

OK, gonna give the system dump a try first. Downloading that one, is a lot faster anyway
I was really looking forward on trying the CM10.1, or any 4.2.2 Android version. Just because I'm sharing this tablet with my wife (any waterproof == wife proof in my case), it was really usefull to setup multiple accounts on 4.2.2
offtopic: On my S3 I got multiboot, so I can boot in CM or any other ROM, no matter what kernel. That would be even better, if it exist for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z.

Mine is a SGP312. Not sure if the SGP311 will work. Does anyone have the original firmware for the SGP312? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

SGP311 and SGP312 are WIFI only
SGP321 is LTE
we are currently support only the LTE version
WIFI only version is mostly done, just need some info from owner and some test

They're just pre-production codenames, they stand for pretty much nothing
The whole 2011 MDPI line had fruit names (mango, coconut, etc), the 2012 line was a bunch of plants (mint, lotus, etc).

Also, thank you for developing for ZR. So far I've been surprising happy with rooted stock 4.2 but can always use some customisation. With development on the i9000 you could really see differences in performance but for a quad-core phone such as my new ZR it's more the CM features that you miss.
Look forward to trying this out. Cheers.

"my" rom is just plain CM11.
Not entirely sure, but you can try and flash it over (and add GAPPS aswell), and hope it'll use your data partition as is. Tho it might conflict

No bug here so far. I am using it everyday.
Main Used apps every day:
*Dolphin Browser
*Doubletwist (in car with bluetooth)
*Tunein radio (you have to close the app manualy to avoid battery drain, but its due to the app not to the ROM)
*Outlook
*Alarm clock (Every morning)
*Hangouts
*Phone !
Since fxp249 i have uninstalled Google+ and facebook to avoid battery drain (should try with last version but i am not found of social network anyway).
Finaly battery drain is similar to stock ROM for me.
Charging time is a little bit longer than with stock. If you are charging the night like me its not an issue at all.
Bluetooth : OK
Wifi (wpa2) : OK
3g H+ : higher speed than stock! (France / Virgin)
GPS : OK
Give it a try switching between apps is really buttersmooth compared to stock.
Thanks to fxp and all the team for their work.

I havent tried any freexperia roms before, can someone give me a quick tldr of what the difference between this and say, cm12 or aosp is?
I hope I'm not missing something but.. No link to get the zip?
Excuse me if it's obvious but I can't see it.
The zip is available on the site(although it says 'unofficial'), but it's on uploaded (i.e. very slooooow).
Err, I think the post is a bit premature. Not even the github links reflect cm12.

It requires the flashing of a custom kernel. You will need an unlocked bootloader.

Get Cpu Spy pro. Its free in PlayStore. Then make sure, nothing is updating etc. and turn off the screen for some minutes.
Now go into cpu spy and lock for the frequenzies. There must be Deep Sleep at the bottom, under 300 Mhz, when not, its not working....
