I've searched the forums on this and there does seem to be other users with different phones with the same issue but I cant find a solution.....
Any photos I take and then email or upload to FB end up sideways.
Anyone else having the same issue and found out why?

When take a photo you got to make sure that the camera logo on the shutter is facing up the right way.

Take the photo in landscape mode and not portrait. Just like camera.... Do make sure Sony logo is on your left hand side.

Thanks guys, but it should work anyway however you take the photo, landscape or portrait. I didn't have this problem with my one x.

I am on my second htc one...my first one had a os crash and i had to get a brsnd new device from sprint....when i got the new devi e i had only one pic i had taken while in disney world...im confused becuase the picture i have now was taken at disney and the rest of then are not there....once again....new device and pic showed up on new one...any help would be greatly appreciated
I wonder if there was a HTC backup done with the HTC backup app that comes with the phone. Maybe just the one picture was backed up on your old phone and the backup on the old phone was restored to you new phone?

I dont kno...i checked in my google plus and found nuthin...how do i check the htc back up?i kno i signed into it with facbook and im definitly using dropbox now..alot of pics i lost maybe...dont want it to happen again

You can't check the HTC Backup unless you restore your phone using that back up but it does not back up photos. I hate to say this but I think your pictures are gone. Without removable memory, using a service like dropbox, copy, google+ or equivalent is important. I prefer google+ for this because it does a decent job of organizing and cleaning up my uploads but I use dropbox too since I have so much free space.

You need to run the setup app. It will give you the option to restore from HTC backup.

Not trying to spam but if you try the app COPY it has free cloud storage and can be set up so that whenever you are on WiFi it will automatically upload any new pics or videos you have taken on your phone.
Hi , plz i need a help evry time when i want to use my htc one m7 camera to take a pic or tape a video i face many problem with the camera that can not fouces in what i need to pic and i make much nose moving very fast without making a clear photos like before ,also i have another problem with the blurry camera that are some pink point that spread on the seccreen when i open the camera for making photos ...pllllz tell me how i can fix this problems knowing that i have lollipop 5.0.2, sense 6.0 and the firmware is 7.19.401.2 please help me

Send your phone for repair. Pink hue is a very well know hardware defect, HTC will replace your camera module for another model.

Well you can either live with a bad camera or send it for repair.

I had the same issue with the camera blur. I actually sent in my phone and got a new one, but the blur stayed. It could just be that our phones were manufactured with cheaper parts, or that we were just very unlucky.
The only thing that finally fixed my camera was installing a custom rom. I installed liquidsmooth and the blur went away, which suggests to me that this is probably a software issue. Since your warranty's expired, this would be the route I'd suggest you go.

Do you have this in actual resolution? these are 720p I think the original ones were higher resolution although the videos are fine

I have included a photo to show what I mean. But blocked out the personal parts. I was at a wedding yesterday and when using zoom the camera was buzzing/humming on the back of the phone. And was getting a wavey effect on the pictures and wavey effect moving around while trying to take the pictures. I also had weird colour mismatches which I'm not sure was because of the lighting from fireworks but never had this issue before when I have taken photos of fireworks before. It happened over alot of the photos but have only included these.
Also this has happened before when taken photos on holiday aswell but don't take a lot of photos so only noticed it a few times not just yesterday. Thanks

I've had this problem for a while and finally got around to doing something about it. I sure didn't have to look far to find a thread describing the problem. I'm hoping to get a warranty replacement before the next Note comes out, if there is no fix.
Please provide more info... Custom ROM? or Stock? Are you rooted? or not?... If you are on stock... Did you try to clear data of your Camera App through settings? and as a last resort.... Did you try to factory reset your device? ... just saying.. I might help and Others will help if those information are available in the main post
