callrecorder skvalex on HTC one M7 - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello to everybody!!!
I am trying with my new HTC one M7 to get a good callrecorder. years ago i bought callrecorder of skvalex. And for my last phone (HTC one x) there is a patch to get a great sound of both speakers.
But with HTC ONE M/ doesnt work properly. Too low or nothing the voice of the other speaker and i have rooted with lasta ARHD rom. SO...is there any solution??
I tested all configurations program. But with api standard anly record in audio source (microphone) and the sound is low and no good.
thanks!!!

Just wanted to bump this now that S-off is out and various other tools.
Has anyone successfully managed to get two way call recording working on the HTC one yet?

Yes, i still waiting for a solution.. hope so..

It's supposed to work with Android Revolution HD 12.1 ROM, but on my phone the other is side extremely low in volume with the CallRecorder Trial. I suspect that only the phone mic is recorded which catches a little bit from the call speaker.
What settings do I have to use?

A guy in the Galaxy S4 thread has offered an $100 to whoever can make an both sides of the call recorder.
John.

I don`t know how but in unof. miui rom its work good
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352742

It's kind of funny to come back to a thread with the same problem a few months later and realise you already posted.
lol I was looking around last night regarding the call recording (in line) for the HTC One. I am still no farther along. Checked out skvalex's main thread and didn't find much there.
Anyone have anything to report about the muiui ROM? (is that sence based or AOSP?)

With cyanogenmod 10.2 nightly versions, it works, and perfect!

We are talking about skvalex on the HTC one right?
I'm running the latest AOKP nightly... If so I shouldn't have trouble.

Api standard, and donload and uplink

Uplink + downlink. It s great! Because it works perfect indeed. Even in bluetooth mode

exactly same problem for me...
Before I was using Skvalex Call Recorder on my HTC One X (rooted + SoundRecorder patch) without any problem.
Now I've HTC One M7 (unrooted) and trying to make it run...Is not it possible yet?

CAF
Skvalex released 1.5.3.1 version with new recording method called "CAF", now HTC One and a few phone can record by direct phone line, quality is brilliant, thanks to Skvalex...
Just root required for this, not special kernel etc. needed...

Let's port an awesome camera app.

Dear devs! Could you please take a look at those mods of the camera? I've flashed it on lacoste rom and I think is awesome! The issues are that is fc after every pic made(the pic is stored on sd) zoom from vol buttons doesn't work, and video recording also doesn't work.
The quality of the photos is great.
This mod is for jb and cm, but also exist a mod for sense roms

Skype audio loudness issue?

Hi all,
Today I've tried to use Skype video calling and it works perfectly regarding video, but my audio is incredibly quiet and going trough top speaker only, same as when I do regular phone call. So if I want to see someone during talk, I barely hear him. If I plug earphones, it is fantastic.
so, is there anyway to enable both speakers during Skype video call?
I'm running stock HTC One with all latest updates. Skype is also updated.
Thnx 4 help.

Any news about this? When can we expect speakerphone option?

Right now Dual Capture is a MAX only feature. The 360 Panorama should be enabled, it is on Maximus 20.0
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
As soon as the HTC One MAX is released we can just pull the camera apk and get those features. Sense 5.5 is already leaked and running on the HTC One, and the MAX has exact same hardware except for fingerscanner and sdcard slot.

Not exactly, from what I understand there is some kernel level goodness going on that enables the feature. It'll probably come as newer leaks come out

If it's needed for business.... Wouldn't the other person knowing they are being recorded be the proper way to go? Lol
Not letting them know would be unethical.
Personal calls too. There's laws for a reason.

Here Call Recorder by skvalex is working on Moto X.
It is necessary to modify the settings of the Standard API inside de app.

yes working here also perfect. Sound is loud and clear.
Easy Voice Recorder Pro is working really well on my Moto X. It also has a Tasker plug-in, allowing me to automatically record all phone calls (don't care to do this, but I tested it, and it works perfectly).

Are you rooted? I've been using Easy Voice Recorder for a while and I can use it to record phone calls on my Moto X without root that would definitely push me into the paid version of the app.

Well after trying "default" it's not much better, at least compared with my old Galaxy Exhibit which sounded like you were in the room with the person it was so clear. Maybe I`m just spoiled by that.
Here is what I`m getting by changing the Standard API audio source:
Voice call up/downlink are the same - zero length recordings.
Microphone - didn't even try it because I know from past experience the results, even at best case scenario, are not that good IMO
Default - hear myself great but the other person sounds baffled like "Microphone" above.
Voice Communication - hear myself great but other person is garbled static.
So yes Default is the best yet and at least workable, but still unsatisfying. Maybe that's as good as it gets on the Moto X but I`ll see if the Dev will at least look into it.

Yes, I'm rooted, but I'm not sure it matters. I never thought to use it for this purpose before I saw this thread, and I don't plan to use it much, but it's good to know it's an option for times when I'm not in a position to take notes during a call.

Good analysis, I only put it in default and don't tested other options. Good to know it is the best option for the moment. I will be waiting for improvements too.

I am a Sony lover and I recently upgraded from Xperia Z3 to moto G5 Plus. I really love this device but only thing I was missing was Sony Music App and dolby sound. Loud and clear sound and I am in love with this mod. Its not my work I am just sharing the link below. All the credits goes to the developer.

Well, it's about testing and experiment with different setups, in fact, it is the biggest improvement about audio... For me it is top notch, and also includes all the Sony suite that works beautifully

If you have backup of your data then you can restore that otherwise you have to factory reset the device.
or just reflash your current rom without any wipes.

Bro use arise and its installation is very easy just download that latest version (alongwith magisk module latest if you use magisk) and watch the installation video . Its worth the effort .
