I thought this project was forgotten friend, good'll wait then.
Thank you.
Taking advantage, you beast that it is, how can I change the memories of the Razr HD?
I know I have to change something in the file vold.fstab but everything I tried does not result.
Can you help me?

Tested this version on my XT926 just now and it works but can neither mount nor backup to the external sdcard and seems to have the path wrong.
Backed up to the internal sdcard fine, although I have not tried restoring that backup yet.
Nice job!

I'll look into it ASAP Thanks for trying it out.
EDIT: Your sdcard isn't 'exFat' by any chance is it? mhous33 tested with FAT32 microSD and was able to mount/unmount and use external_sdcard.

It would be interesting if it had the kernel for XT925, supported rom with init.d support

Nope FAT32 here 16 GB Sandisk, not sure what the issue was but I will try again. I used his zip to load it from twrp, which worked fine of course.

I found here that debugging is enabled does not recognize the memories, only loads.
Disabled after debugging it works normally.
Go figure ...

Latest revision works great and appears to have solved the external storage issues. Mounting and backing up to external_sd functions normally.
Excellent work!

GSM patch for CM9 was addressed to M3 (XT860) , so I believe it should work.
Just install it on safe mod and check for yourself, and don't forget to let us know!

Update 1: WiFi doesn't work, signal indicator is not acurate, no Google accounts and syncing, installed Play Store from apk and won't work, keyboard doesn't work (might not be installed). Apps and Widgets look much better and the phone seems pretty smooth, when I turned it on for the fist time I got to the initial setup but the phone rebooted, it also froze and rebooted when using the preinstalled app "Widevine Demo". I also installed "Trebuchet" but it won't let me change any launcher settings (looks much better in my opinion and saves more space).

What do you think? Can't you see all the threads in the Development forums full of Dual-Boot discussions and solutions?
The O3D dual boot (but from SD , not internal) should work . But didn't try it (I don't have O4X) .
Google changed the mount point of the internal SD from /sdcard to /data/media .This made the dual-boot semi impossible from internal (because it has been EXT4 not FAT32) but if you have external SD dual-boot should be easy .

i searched xda which gave me Android-Ubuntu dual boot guides. Perhaps you have a better pairs of eyes point me the right direction instead. im new here ffs.

Boot manager is a good solution for dual boot, if you have lot of space in sd, then it should work, check the compability list. Used to work with my evo.

Haha, I literally just sent a pm to kholk asking for a bit of help porting the kexec patch to this device. When ive got some time im gonna have a look into porting ubuntu touch (to be honest im completely new with porting roms etc, i just need the know how) shame that the previous attempers files are down, would be much easier to work from them.
But many thanks mate!

Yes! the inners of multiboot are working from a kexec call, this allows you boot into a kernel, load a new kernel into memory then reboot straight into the new kernel (to the same effect as flashing another kernel via recovery but when you reboot again you reboot back into the original kernel) so yes it is confusing

Performance doesn't decrease. Second, third, ... roms are stored on the NAND, access speed is the same.

[RECOVERY] Latest CWM touch recovery 6.0.4.4

As a side effect of working on AOSP 4.4, I had to compile a new version of CWM, as our old doesn't support the 4.4 updater script.
So I compiled the new CWM, but also with touch functionality, as it is way easier to use than the one with hardware buttons
So this is the latest CWM touch for our device, version 6.0.4.4. This recovery is 100% 4.4, a.k.a. KitKat compatible.
I will try to always keep it on the newest version, but in case I might forget it, just remind me
Installation
Either flash the uploaded recovery image via fastboot: (DL from HERE)
Code:
fastboot flash recovery CWM_T_6.0.4.4.img
Or flash the uploaded update zip via CWM or TWRP (DL from HERE)
Happy flashing

I needed a new recovery to flash 4.4 AOSP, and I don't like not having a touch recovery, so I compiled this one
And about KK, I am working on it, but it really is a pain...
I don't know what google did, but 4.3 took about 1h for compiling, 4.4 takes 2....
EDIT: Added DL links to the OP
thanks for new CWM. Unfortunately just after flashing it i found my TWRP backups now are useless

Will need to take a look at it, but not sure though, as it's not really that important

SO This works as a normal CWM? Have never used a touch CWM but this will work with everything; I can use my old backups?

Yeah, you can use all CWM backups and yes, it also works just like the "normal" CWM, just it's way easier to use

Well ok, gonna flash it in a min
Just wanted to be sure, don't want to brick the recovery.
