Blue corners - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Ok so I know this issue has been addressed in another thread but just trying to clarity on this issue as for the information I've been finding have conflicted each other.
Anyway.. I have this blue tent. Only when I take pictures or video at night. Or in low lit situations. Is this an issue with the software or hardware? I've seen some say they replaced their phone and it fixed the issue but that doesn't mean it was hardware because I've seen some suggest adjustments to camera settings.
So what's the verdict?

There has to be some sort of light at the bottom of this shot that's off camera.. Is there a laptop underneath this shot? Or another type of light source?.. I only see this happen in my office taking pictures and my computer screen light is just off to the left or right resulting in that same blue effect.. It's got to be light in the direction of when that shoot was taken and if there wasn't I'd be taking the phone back.

I've seen this happen out in the hallway, the only light nearby was the bathroom light.

This was taken outside. The only light nearby is the light in the picture. This happens a lot with pictures taken at night and videos mostly slowmotion. It's more intense with slowmotion videos

In good light situations, the camera has a terrific performance. The bad point of it is the noise in low-light situations... but it's normal. Don't expect something like PureView.
Over cast days it does just fine. What light conditions are you trying to take photos in?

Wow. The question really seems to be light. With good light - great pictures, with bad light - ugly pictures (all mine are). I will to get better light after seeing these cool pictures.
In low light situations, try turning on HDR. Pictures come out fine after doing so.
on from me
I think the camera has some good quality
Took these didn't come out to bad

my z1 looks the same as yours. the whitest the screen the worst are the viewing angles. :\
My Z1 is nowhere near as bad as yours. Warmer colours tend to be a bit washed out, but you can still easily read both grey and black text from about the same angles as in your photos. My screen is much colder than yours too, not as much blue as with your ultra though.

Is this image retention?

I am noticing a burned in bar on the lower half of the screen. I am not sure what to make of this? Could this just be an issue with AMOLED panels? It's not very noticeable unless you look for it, but it is definitely there. Look very hard and you'll see a bar. Would love some opinions on this.

If it is image retention you need to warranty it. Phones shouldn't get that (even amoleds) until they're a few years old (or you've had the screen turned on from the moment you got it till now on the same image lol)

Evening all. So the light bulb in my bathroom is going nuts.. would anyone know what type of light bulb this requires? It's kind of shaped like the letter B.
Thanks in advance!
Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
It is CFL type.
Tube is bent in B shape.
It is a tube type.
It may have a choke/ circuit to run it.
If possible change it to LED type.
If you understand wiring of electricity AC.
LED light also need a circuit for low voltage and set of LEDs.
A simple LED Bulb or this this type of enclosure with LED may be available at nearby store.
LED type bulbs have more life.

Problems taking photos at night with Christmas lights

Anyone know how to fix this?
Wanted to get some nice christmas lights shots but its been acting like this all weird.
I use the normal Photo mode with AND without AI mode and results are similar.
It has this weird glowing effect.

First of all I would suggest that you clean your camera lens, as this is a common light glow occurring dye to dirty lens by oily fingers.

Thanks for your response, it shouldn't be oily lens, when I took an indoor photo with Santa, it was perfectly fine.

From the hazing around the lights my bets go to dirty lens. Try proper cleaning of the lens and try again some Xmas lights [emoji16]
