Good, well its bad, but good that it kinda confirms that our gps issue is a combo of our proprietary files & cm's setup. PAC with RAZR proprietaries didn't work....Slim with AHD proprietaries didn't work....
@darkspadez
https://github.com/skeevy420/android_vendor_motorola_qinara.git pacman branch is using xt925 proprietaries and updated adreno drivers. Shouldn't have to do much more than renaming all the qinara's to mb886 (makefiles and folders )
/for some reason I'm having the strangest deja vu posting this...like I did it in a dream a year ago or something.
Also, did you have any target recovery errors (no recovery.fstab) and bacon errors? I'm only asking cause I'm working on PA from source, both for a new native AHD rom, and to test if the combo of RAZR libs + AOSP HW repos fixes our GPS. Wasn't gonna bother with PA, but since Echo broke his phone I don't see him updating it any time soon and all I want is a rom with dpi tweakability and working gps (even if it is off by 10ft\meters).
I can fix the bacon issue by changing "mka bacon" to "make" in the build-pa.sh, but the target recovery error still shows. Seems like its not using the msm8960-common repo, but all my other projects using my repos build as they should. The fun world of dumbass android build errors :silly:
Perhaps I'll just fix the overlay errors I'm getting and see if it works (forgot to remove our frameworks-base overlays before building)

I want GPS to play Ingress! And I can only update PA with the latest Halo changes, nothing more. I was working on fixing external SD but I can't do that now..

I just got home, give me a bit and I'll flash Slim and post up some logs.
If you check the CM10.1 thread I believe I posted some gps logs there yesterday, thought they were from PAC and different HW repos.

SlimBean 3.1 is 4.1.2, i'd think it would be more compatible, i don't want to install any 4.2 roms until camcorder works, i hardly ever use gps but i'd like to be able to record something if the need arises.
Edit: Iam really thinking of trying this one though, even if just for a few hours.

Love the rom finally gps. Even though I used the xt925 version lol. Couple questions is there any way to have the music controls appear on the lockscreen when listening to music? Anyway to do a per app dpi? Mainly just so I can make my keyboard larger.

I use spotify and they don't appear for me.

Finally managed to flash this and I gotta say that it has almost everything I need in a rom....seriously....I haven't said that about many roms, even the ones I compile myself.
The only thing I don't like about it is the way it handles dpi and the dual panel mode....Settings needs to be around 230 and lower for dual panel to be effective and system around 250 and above so the system doesn't have ridiculously small fonts. I'm really hoping that per-app-dpi is a feature the Slim team plans on adding in.
SlimPie is awesome, my only gripe is I can't tweak it's start up animations (I prefer as quick as possible\minimal animations). I love the 2nd pie layer -- my new quick launch drawer for Phone\MMS, Camera\Gallery, PowerAmp\DSPManager -- Press\LongPress . 5 on bottom, 3 on top -- with 5 on top, if you set the PIE size too big, 1 and 5 get placed partially to all the way outside the screen, possibly making them useless.
Have some logs up in the next hour or so. Been at it for a bit today and need me a smoke break. Gonna kick it with Dimmu Borgir for a bit.

PowerAmp works on the lockscreen, just gotta check the box in the options menu.

They started to work after the update still like you said wish there was a per app dpi option lol.

is it stable? how to set at 1.5GHz ?
Yes 1.2 is stable. You can try out other values 1300000000, 1500000000, 1250000000 but most of them are really unstable. Make sure you test out using Terminal not scripter cause if you set the value to high your phone will reboot.
Any luck on this method? I had tried to oc months ago and no matter what freq I would lose sound intermitantly. As in no ringer, music, or even alarm working.

There was a way to set the overclock script up as a toggle, that way after a reboot you could just tap the toggle, and be oc'd

Yeah just create the script i did in the video and then whenever you reboot it sets you back to default so all you have to do is run the script to toggle it to oc'd

mine was super fast at 1.3 and i had no other issues to speak of, except for the random sound issue. it would be fine about 75% of the time, but would randomly lose sound altogether, no audio period from the speaker or headphone jack, a reboot fixed this but i just couldn't risk it with a new job and not knowing if my alarm would work or not.
ill give this method a shot and get back to you guys
this was my antutu score back in january when i tried the old method

finally got this to work, had to flash both zip files then before the oc commands i had to type the insmod /system/lib/modules/symsearch.ko and insmod /system/lib/modules/overclock.ko before i could change the freq.
but all in all it seems to be running smooth so far.
i'll let you guys know if i run into any problems
thank you!

No problem. thanks for the comment.
Man I'm definitely digging this phone after oc'ing it
So far ran it hard for 2 days at 1.2 and no problems whatsoever.
I bumped it up to 1.3 and its getting even better. I've noticed data 3g and 4g connects twice as fast and a big increase in speed for reg tasks. And the best part is I've noticed no battery problems.
This post has seriously gotten me excited to own a bionic!

Rom is very nice, I do get some screen flickering occasionally. Also, it seems no matter what rom or browser I have issues streaming live videos, surely not the roms fault but still driving me crazy.

Ok so after doing a full wipe and install, test and uninstall I can report back.
Great Rom but got lots of stuff to work out.
Good
Fast
Love the updated ui and its speed.
Got lots of potential but need a bunch of fixes
bugs and need fixing
Spen apps all of them
Spen system functions needs to be put back in when trying to use spen short cuts like screen shot tap or a note / memo app it causes the phone to do a quick soft reboot ie. Screen goes back them jumps back to home screen re draws everything all apps has been,re closes.
This is even after I restores my spen apps from backup.
Radio doesn't seen to connect stable at all on wind with default radio and when custom.radio it doesn't work at all.
I might come BAck to this when its more stable
Thanks

Hello all, ive been trying this ROM for a few days now and i love it. I've only encountered a few problems which would be, Any widgets that are calender related won't load i get an error "problem loading widget" and also every once in a while the phone process will crash but usually after I'm finished with the call. I installed it correctly by following the instructions provided and also tried to redo the process completely but no luck fixing the little issues. Is there anything i can do to fix it. Thank you very much for this ROM and for your time

RAZR HD Stock Rom Boots on Atrix HD

Just thought I'd share with you the current status of things. I decided to flash Hashcode's new RAZR HD stock rom on my Atrix HD (Jellybean leak) with Safestrap 3.0.
Good things came out of it! It actually booted, to everyone's surprise.
I got H+ data on boot, and a couple force closes of some Motobloat because I did not wipe data coming from my Batakang Rom (Bad idea, but do-able for me). I am sending this from my USB tethered "RAZR HD" now.

Sorry for the blurry pic:
As you can see I am running the latest official RAZR HD software. A bug noticed so far from SirHoover2010 is that Wifi is not working for him (same for me). Most likely used to different wifi libs used and can be pretty easily fixed by swapping them out I imagine.
His phone has the battery mod as well, and Settings > About Phone calls his a RAZR HD MAXX.
Another difference from RAZR HD is our phone lacks NFC. The option is still shown in Settings, but that can be fixed as well.
Any questions?
You can download the RAZR HD stock rom by Hashcode from here:

Just thought I'd share with you the current status of things. I decided to flash Hashcode's new RAZR HD stock rom on my Atrix HD (Jellybean leak) with Safestrap 3.0.
Good things came out of it! It actually booted, to everyone's surprise.
I got H+ data on boot, and a couple force closes of some Motobloat because I did not wipe data coming from my Batakang Rom (Bad idea, but do-able for me). I am sending this from my USB tethered "RAZR HD" now.

This should answer.. just install zip as normally flashing a rom.
So,we have almost the same firmware on both phones. No porting needed. If there's CM-based rom available for Razr HD,we might be able to use it on Atrix HD as well I guess.

You really are a legend:good: I want to cry:crying:
so... in theory, we can flash CM10 for XT925 (or only XT926???) in our Atrix HD?? I compared the specs of both phones in PhoneArena (MB886 vs XT925) and are almost the same phones, only varies in ROM memory, battery, screen size, and the lack of NFC in the Atrix HD, the RAZR HD supports Wifi N - 5 Ghz, and i dont remember what more... this is great!
There will be any support for Bell version on ROMS, recovery, etc.? We don't even have a Custom Recovery like SS yet.
Razr i, M and HD are newer phones and does have Official JB. Atrix is older and we've seen only one leak.

You can use SS3. I don't see why not.

Does it have HDMI detection and HDMI overscan options in settings>display ?
Those are missing from JB leak leaving it unusable for me as a lapdock addict, the picture is cramped and only takes 60% of the display, with no options to correct it.
Even so, it doesnt work now on a proper HDMI TV what the plug is there for in the first place.
They were both there on ICS rom.
Does the RAZR HD ROM include Webtop? If so, does it work?

Well crap. The RAZR and RAZR MAXX do, don't they? Now that we have root, has anyone tried to get that working on the AHD? I tried Webtop on the Atrix 4G and it had potential that was never fully realized. I know that Webtop 3.0 was very different, but it would be nice to have as an option on the AHD.
Or is that something we'd need an unlocked bootloader to do?

I didn't like that the Atrix 4G had no HDMI mirroring, but the entertainment app and the remote with the HD Dock were useful.

You must have forgot, It did have a mirroring option, just not an HD one. But rather a one with its stock resolution 500x900 which sucked.

There was no mirroring natively on the 4G. Some of the people here at XDA figured out a partial workaround if you were rooted. The stock OS launched an "Entertainment Center" (which supported 1080p) which allowed you to show pictures or movies stored locally on the device, so it was somewhat limited since you couldn't launch Netflix, play content across the network, play formats that the entertainment center didn't support, etc. XDA also figured out how to launch webtob without a dock, which helped some, but you were limited to the resolution of the webtop interface.
The Motorola developer documentation mentioned HDMI mirroring as one of the modes, but it was disabled in the 4G (although I think the Atrix 2 supported it). It was one of the top requests on the Motorola support forums for the 4G, but the request fell on deaf ears at Motorola.

I hear you there. Granted I come from a Samsung Fascinate with much more development and ease of development (unlocked boot loader, etc.) But this thing Is getting passed on so I can grab something a little more developer friendly and fun to toy with. Every night I get home to a basically new ROM for the Fascinate and I'm spending more time playing on a basically 3 yr old phone most of the time lol

To turn on NFC:
1. Make a Backup of rom after install
2. Install stock rom/return to stock backup.
3. Turn NFC on within the stock ROM.
4. Restore back to CM10 and NFC will be turned on.
Your welcome.

This really sucks I was hopping for a really good 4.2 rom for my M. I wouldn't hold my breath with the Sony ZL, while it looks like a great device, you know how Sony LOVE to lock down their phones/tablets. I have the original Tablet S some was able to root, before Sony pushed out the last firmware which left me in the cold.

Dave is having some trouble getting the framebuffer for our qHD panel going in the 4.2 kernel if I understand correctly, but he's working at it. Once that's set we should see some quicker development because CM10.1 is in pretty good shape for the RAZR HD, which shares a lot of our hardware.

Another quick hint it looks like Hashcode and dhacker29 have set up another github for our QCOM-based devices, while leaving the STS-DEV-TEAM github going for the older OMAP-based products. The new github can be found here: https://github.com/razrqcom-dev-team

ive been noticing
I have noticed with many 4.4 roms that whenever the data cuts out it is actually your apn just switching to Sprint Apn not the Sprint LTE internet apn. So go to apn settings and revert back to sprint lte internet. That is the only work around I know just make an activities shortcut or find an app on play store for shortcut. I've experienced this on like 4 roms already.
