I bought an "Unlocked" SP (C5303), but I can't unlock the bootloader - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

WTF I thought this phone was unlocked, I check on the service menu and appears as NO. What can I do? I wanted to change the kernel to get root :crying:
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks.

how i can obtain the same result?
I think that you cant use screen mirroring because you have an unlocked bootloader(seen some threads in xperia Z forum). For S1 boot i cant help you, maybe its based on when you've buyed the device or something else i dont know.

Emma Tool not offering "Open Devices"-Firmware (Bootloader Unlocked)

Hello guys, the Sony Emma tool won't offer me a "open devices"-firmware. Bootloader is definitely unlocked, rechecked that over fastboot, service menu and the "Flashtool". Also re- and unlocked again, just to be sure. No changes at all. Anyone knows a solution? I didn't find anything on the net, except for a handful of people with the same problem.

Same issue for me, except mine's a Z3. I'm definitely unlocked as verified under Service Info.
+1 I have the exact same issue (c6092) i am not sure if i have the latest boot-loader with the new recovery partition. i want to have a native recovery. Do we have a way to check if i already have the partition? so i can just fast-boot flash recovery. Preferably TWRP recovery for extra safety.

Nope, to my knowledge the N9500 wasn't locked down, only the other Snapdragons like N950U. Exynos not locked down either of course.
Till this day I thought every Android phone can be rooted very interesting... every day you can learn something new
Not all lg and samung are locked down mostly cause qualcomm wants them that way

[HELP] Flashed and locked bootloader with the wrong version

Hi guys,
I wanted to bring the device back to stock mode without root and lock back the bootloader.
But I accidentally flashed the wrong firmware, Indian instead of global.
Now I've read about EDL thing that can help me here, is there any other solution I can try before disassembling my phone?
